We booked for a family afternoon tea, for around 50 people. We had plates of sandwiches and cakes, really lovely quality bread used and fillings were really nice. The coffee and tea were served in lovely cups and saucers with lovely tiered cake stands. The service was amazing, the servers polite and attentive. We are really grateful to Natalie the catering manager for such a lovely spread, so accommodating. The table cloths were beautiful, white laundered and the Pilgrims Hall itself is really lovely. If you are thinking of a place to hold a celebration do enquire, it was really good value for money and everyone commented on the quality of the food and drinks. My thanks to Kirsty for organising and being great at staying in touch to arrange the details. Plenty of parking and lovely walks around the Priory to walk off the lovely cakes. ❤️

Booked in here for Sunday roast dinner it was absolutely scrumptious! The food portions were generous and the pub atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Keep up the good work Carla & Lee and thank you to chef Richard for a tasty treat

My only piece of advice is that Cafe Plaza could do with WIFI. The food and service is excellent. It’s probably the best Cafe in the area.

Held a wedding reception at this venue and it was perfect. Everyone is at the top of their game and very professional. I would recommend this venue for your event

Brilliant breakfast, cooked fresh every time and tailored to individual requests. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Tucked away at the back of an airport hangar it’s a bit tricky to find but we’ll worth it.

Always pop up to see my brother at xmas as he lives up the road from the pub.always enjoy my visits.nice friendly bar lady reasonably priced drinks and just a general feel good about the pub in general. I haven't eaten there but from what I've seen the food looks of a high quality.maybe slightly small pprtions for a greedy devil like me though..

First visit and will definitely be back. Booked online and had a call to say unable to serve normal Sunday roast as problem in kitchen and did we still want to go. So pleased we did. We both ordered the venison bourguignon, absolutely fabulous and huge portion. Mrs D not easily pleased but on this occasion expectations exceeded. Thankfully we shared a portion of the panattone bread and butter pudding as it would have been impossible to eat a whole one! Great food, great service, lovely staff. Give it a try.

My favourite pub ever! Me and my partner have been here a number of times. The food is amazing! This particular time my partner had pork ballottine and I had the beef, both served with mash potato and veg. It was delicious, we both cleared our plates. The staff are friendly and accommodating and can’t do enough for you. As for the pub itself, it’s cosy and warm and has a really nice vibe. Great music and atmosphere. Can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for one of many fantastic evenings. As a side note, my partner and I also attended before with friends of ours and their baby girl for a roast. The roast was amazing and again cannot fault the service. We will be back 100%

Sunday lunch disappointing. £19-£21 is towards the higher end of Sunday lunch prices & for that you'd be expecting near perfection. This target was comfortably missed with a plate that contained rock hard roast potatoes matched by a rock hard Yorkshire pudding. I'm assuming that the smear of gravy provided was to entice a request for some more, which would cost an additional £2
