What a great, honest, down-to-earth place. Solid grub (though could do with more vegan options, please! 🙏🏻), lovely staff, wonderful spot in Birchington that the DFLs tend not to find.
If you want to take a trip down memory lane to 1940s this is the place. Lovely period artefacts and ambience. The young waitress was very helpful.
But prices are certainly NOT from a bygone age...!

It's with some regret that I feel the need to put this review on.
I have eaten here previously but won't in future because I'm apparently not welcome back .My wife and son had perfectly adequate meals
Found by chance and impressed with the choice of food, coffee, wine bar and shops. Only had time for a drink and a snack but would definitely return for breakfast/lunch.
Popped in on feb 13th with our small dog..There was large selection of food on the menu. Prices were very reasonable and service was excellent. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was cooked lovel

Great choice and perfectly cooked. With a view out to sea it's a perfect location. Saved the hassle of finding places to eat in town too, Would recommend eating in!
