Absolutely divine. Top quality ingredients, put together perfectly. I had a Goats cheese, salad and Irish black butter, sourdough sandwich. Very good service too. You can also purchase the ingredients in house to make at home, which I did so!

Mi esposo y yo reservamos una semana en la Isla de Wight y cuando mi esposo estaba haciendo la reserva del ferry con Wightlink, notó la opción Signature Lounge. Muy contento de haber ido por esto. Viajamos a principios de noviembre cuando hacía mal tiempo, de hecho, no sabíamos si el ferry iba a ser cancelado. Al momento de escribir esto, cuesta 10 adicionales por trayecto, lo que, si puede pagar un poco más, vale la pena. El salón es de primera clase con hermosos muebles, revistas y periódicos para leer. También hay una selección de cafés gratuitos (cappuccino, lattes, etc.) y tés, zumos de frutas y también pasteles. Había una selección de otras bebidas y una pequeña selección de sándwiches, pero estos fueron extra. Teniendo en cuenta lo mal que estaba el clima y cuán ocupado y ruidoso, el resto del barco era bastante agradable tener relativa paz y tranquilidad durante una hora. Básicamente, es como pagar la primera clase por una hora y no se permiten niños. Lo recomiendo absolutamente.

We always have a fantastic meal at Blue Island. This was my second visit this year, one with friends and this time with three generations of the family. The team are always extremely friendly and welcoming, and even on this very busy Saturday night no table was ignored. Simon cooks all of the food, and he occasionally likes to ring the changes on the core selection in the meze. Most of us are meateaters, but we often go with a vegetarian and other restricted dietary needs. There is always something for everyone. Today, the standout courses were a king prawn in tomato sauce, and a lovely vegetable dish with (I think) cheese, courgette, aubergine and tomatoes as a base. But naturally we also loved all the usual courses of pork, chicken, halloumi, meatballs, lamb, mushrooms ... Another triumph, thank you all!

Great place, not only finally somewhere offering smaller portions at a reduced price as a lunch deal but also the best chips in Southampton hands down, warm, crispy on the outside and freshly cooked!

Great wine but very, very average food. We went for a meal before visiting the theatre and I ordered risotto funghi and Saltimbocca. The risotto had a decent texture but had almost no flavour of mushroom whatsoever. It also arrived within about five minutes so obviously wasn't cooked to order. The Saltimbocca was burnt in places, didn't seem to have any sage, and the portion was tiny. Originally seated under the stairs, we moved because it was literally like eating in a broom cupboard. The service wasn't terrible but we had three different people look after us, waited ages for the bill and then to pay. Overall a very bland experience.

Great Public Inn,great drinks,great prices & a friendly atmosphere,fantastic staff. Also very clean! - toilets are fab too.

I went there for lunch today and I went out to my car. Fishcake was black and soggy, inside was stringy too. Must have been sat there ages. Chips were so bad I put one in my mouth and had to spit it out. Large chips and Fishcake. Both went straight in the bin.

Had the Margherita pizza which was good. Good service. No vegan options available :(

A great theatre! Staff were friendly, and the shows are great

Buena comida, personal amable y muy limpio. Menu extenso. Los precios y el tamaño de las porciones eran muy buenos. No es un lugar muy bonito, pero si no quieres comer en un restaurante de cadena o comida rápida este lugar es genial.

Tuve la suerte de tropezar al azar con este lugar y no podía creerlo cuando bajé las escaleras, ¡como si todo un país de las maravillas se abriera! Hermosa decoración y tema, absolutamente amo a la gente y los pasteles se ven deliciosos. Un lugar genial para ir con amigos y sin duda volveremos.

Realmente excelente servicio. Estuve allí en un viaje de negocios, y cada miembro del personal fue amable, sonriente y servicial. La comida era abundante. Las bebidas se reponían regularmente. ¿Gracias por cuidarnos tan bien?

Una buena opción para el almuerzo, diferente a otros almuerzos de Southampton. Un entorno relajado pero con clase. Menú limitado pero buenas opciones. Tuve algunos rasguños de cerdo mientras esperaba a mi amigo, estaban sabrosos con abundante salsa de manzana. Compartí con mi amiga un rollo de cerdo y tostadas. Ambos estaban por encima y más allá de la grada. Rollo de cerdo con carne de cerdo grande con alta calidad, no molida. El pan tostado también estaba dos escalones por encima de la tarifa típica. Ser ice era profesional y amable.
