The staff were extremely accommodating and very friendly. Our server, Sam was extremely patient with our children, making them laugh and smile. Despite it being extremely busy, the food was served quickly and to a high standard. Thank you :)

Came here for business breakfast we sat outside and got served by 2 lovely waitresses Maddison and Jagoda both girls were very attentive but also respected that it was a business meeting so gave us time and space. Food and coffee was also amazing thank you so much to the whole team not only waitresses but also to the chef who do an incredible job. Will definitely recommend and be back soon

Busy Friday evening, nice atmosphere and very nice staff. Shared starter was a bit on the small side, mains were ok, puddings and coffee lovely. Friendly and hard working staff, very prompt service. Quite high prices for a very standard meal.

Average food food the price, me and two friends came here on a recommendation, and i can honestly say we all left disappointed and very underwhelmed. The lady who served us is about the only thing that saved our experience.

I visited bills today with my mum and unfortunately our experience ended on a sour note. After receiving lovely and attentive service from the staff throughout, I was shocked to be asked “have you paid?” upon leaving. This was said in a very abrupt and unfriendly manner by one of the hosts who hadn’t even been waiting our table. Not only had we paid, but we had left a tip having already spent a decent amount on food/drinks. When I said to the lady that yes, we had paid, she looked behind at our table which had been cleared and then said “oh ok, you can go then.” In my opinion there is simply no excuse for this level of hostility towards a paying customer. I visited with my mum and my 12 week old baby thus we had a hefty pram on us and had we intended to do a runner, I don’t see how that would have been possible. I feel really let down by the attitude of this one woman because all of the other staff were lovely. The food and the service up until this point were also good but I can’t help but review our experience as two stars because of this one staff member leaving a sour taste in our mouths. Side note, they were not busy (1:30pm on a Wednesday), so I am not accepting work related stress as an excuse for this treatment.

Came here for a birthday breakfast. I thought it was very odd that on some tables one person was seated on a large 4 seater table, yet ourselves and other table's of two people were crammed on a small two seater?! My dish said 'roasted tomatoes' on the menu, however I got one large tomato on the plate and it was definitely not roasted. The halloumi was precooked and reheated. Nothing wow, like some other Bills I've been to, i didn't like that everyone was put in one area. When there were some other nice areas in the restaurant. I'd have preferred not to be sat in the worn grubby sunken leather sofa i had to sit in. Nice enough food. Lovely service with pleasant staff. We were happy to pay service charge, because of the staff.

Really enjoyed our experience didn’t book but they asked us to come back in 10 minutes and when we returned they had set up and kept a table for us! Amazing Caesar salad as well although did not appear on the menu which was weird upon asking they still had it as part of their menu

Bill’s is always a great choice of restraunt and never had a bad experience yet! This time I had the pork meatballs and my partner had the truffle mac ‘n’ cheese, both we would highly recommend, especially alongside the pink lemonade. Service was impeccable and the staff were so friendl. A great atmosphere to unwind after some retail therapy.

It’s a shame but the standard of this Bills branch has dropped massively over the last year and it’s mainly the quality of food and kitchen staff. We are creatures of habit and visit regularly and order pretty much the same thing but it varies dramatically on who’s working in the kitchen as to the standard of food you get. I often order sides with my breakfast and I used to get two slices of black pudding for just under £4 and now I get one over cooked rock hard lump for it. Pancakes are often overcooked and literally rock hard, not fresh or fluffy at all and the size of scrambled eggs on toast was an absolute joke. Measly is the only word for it. It now feels overpriced, and lacking in quality. We recently visited the Richmond branch of Bills and it knocked spots off of Southampton. Almost embarrassingly so. Also, on our last visit there was a dog in the restaurant - and not a working dog either. On asking apparently Bills allow dogs in their restaurants - inside!? Not on I’m afraid. It’s a restaurant not a cafe is it not? It’s too busy and cramped to allow dogs. Not a good choice by them at all.

Nice restaurant with loveable decorations and fantastic food! Been there with a baby, facilities for change are provided. Perfect suggestion to go there if you are around and feel hungry! Small and main dishes available. Also dine for vegetable food.

I thought the food was great, as was the venue itself, however, as with the rest of the reviews, watch out for the costly drinks and sneaky service charge which cost more than 1 main meal. I'd rather know my prices before I start.

We were tempted in to Bills by a blackboard outside advertising two mail courses for the price of one! We received a warm welcome, and also the restaurant was nice and warm on a very cold day! I had the Fish Pie, and it was delicious. The overall experience was lovely.

Have come here for years and food is always amazing. Our waitress Fleur (sorry if that’s incorrect spelling!) was possibly the nicest waitress I’ve ever had and she made the experience so much better. Was helpful with any questions and was so lovely to me and my friend! Also her nails were stunning!!

I good option for lunch, especially if you are looking for something somewhat healthy (and low carb). I found the service prompt and friendly. Started with Halloumi, which was more like halloumi fries (breaded) and included a nice dipping sauce. Good size portion given it was a “nibble.” Had the Santorini Salad and was pleasantly surprised. It had a lot of watermelon (not sure what I think about it) but everything worked well together, particularly the olives and the feta. A nice salad, and I felt full but not feeling unhealthy.

Me and my partner came for an anniversary dinner and we were so pleased right from the beginning. The host Grace was very welcoming asked us how we are doing this evening and we were seated straight away too. Our waiter Mike was amazing professional smiley he is a credit to the company. Food and drinks were great and we would definitely recommend to others.

Always have a lovely experience every time we visit this restaurant. Today was a particularly great lunch out with our lovely waiter Michael. He was very attentive and friendly and nothing was too much to ask, even with a packed restaurant we felt very well taken care of. Food was delicious as per! Our go to date spot, perfect for any time of the day.

My husband and I were in Southampton visiting our daughter. She made a reservation for our Sunday brunch. We really enjoyed the food and the coffee. Our waitress was very attentive.

Saturday brunch here is great. I like the ultimate, just for the buttermilk pancakes it means you really don’t get hungry until evening. Bright colours, nice music, freshly cooked food this is one of our favourite places to visit. Will definitely be coming again, it’s always just right.

Went as large family group for my grand daughters 18th birthday . Seated straight away and the waiter we had was very professional but friendly and welcoming. Food was really good but one of my daughters wasn’t keen on dressing on salad so the waiter changed it straight away with no trouble at all . Nothing was to much trouble , could not fault anything . We went for brunch and it was so good we went back for dinner. One of the best restaurants and bars we have been to in a long time. Food was absolutely amazing. Service was second to none, could not do enough to make sure our visit was superb. We were served mainly by Mike, both at lunch and dinner, it was an absolute pleasure to be served by him. Wonderful experience. Walked right in on a Saturday afternoon and got a lovely table for two. Our server was pleasant, efficient, and got our order correct 100%. Our food was served promptly and beautifully presented. I had the wedge salad & my husband had the Santorini salad. We finished our meal with cream tea. The raisin scones were nice. We live in Tennessee, USA. Why is it that hot tea always tastes better in the UK? Is it the water, or the British love they put into it? Photos of all our food are posted as well as a photo of chicken & waffles from the table next to us. They said it was so yummy!

Some of the worst service i’ve experienced in a long time. Took ages to take an initial order, had to ask twice for water, long waits for ordering, no check backs, no offering of sauces. When the bill came, they didnt ask about the optional service charge, just charged the ‘optional’ 12.5% and didnt even ask how everything was. Pretty shocking service all in all. Our bill displayed ‘Mike’ served us, but ee had every member in the restaurant at our table. Food was alright though.

It was very busy when we came for breakfast but all members of staff handled it with professionalism. My breakfast came out cold but it was handled amazingly, so I had absolutely no worries. Special mention to Grace who was amazing- fantastic face for the restaurant and so lovely!

Had a great meal here last night. My wife commented that the started of duck salad the special burger and the banoffee desert she had was one of the tastiest meals she’d had in a long time. The sauce on the duck salad was VERY spiced but she loved it. What added to our experience was being served by the delightful and engaging Michael who was very attentive, amusing and personable, a rare find in the service industry these days… take note his manager. Very rare I leave a review but this deserves one! Came here this morning with my partner for breakfast, both had an all day breakfast with some differences made which wasn’t a problem for staff! Absolutely amazing 10/10 couldn’t fault a thing. Staff were all lovely and considering the boat show was on and it was busy, it did not affect the service.
