We held my daughter Erin and son in law Alans wedding reception here. What a great reception it was! Huge thanks to all the staff- what a crew!! They each were so helpful and friendly I couldn't thank them enough. I felt they went out of their way for us, but they insist it's what they do. Jason, Donna, James ..all of you, you made the day perfect! Lynn.

Good venue the staff were very friendly prices for drinks are okay.

Great cabaret and theatre venue with friendly staff. I've performed here and it was a joy. The audience were lovely. All these old school stage spaces need protecting in the UK!

Saw Vicki Vivacious with work colleagues celebrating a retirement. Loved the intimate venue, staff couldn't have been more helpful & the show was excellent. We will be back!

Omg absolutely hilarious - food great, cocktails good but please 🙏 do Prosecco! The two drag queens were brilliant! Will defo be back

Been here on a number of occasions and would happily return.

Rustic bar, enjoyed a drink and chat. Comedy act on the night, tried but not good, needs work on his routine. All for the venue, you have to start somewhere and felt we contributed to someone starting a career.

The place to be in Southampton. A fantastic, stylish and sexy venue offering the best in local and national talent. A superb venue with friendly staff and great food and booze...what's not to love.

Great spot, good beer, and amazing sound in there. Brad did a brilliant job sounding our band and we had a brilliant time with the staff, from the manager to the doorman, everyone was spot on!

We went for the first time to see fleetwood Unchained a new local band which were absolutely fabulous. The venue is quirky, has friendly staff and a fantastic vibe about it.

Decent venue, small and intimate but great to have in the City, the Stage Door is also very good next door especially when a big football match involving England or Saints are on.

Northern Soul and Motown on 12 Nov. It was awesome. £5 per ticket. Great music. Bar is open. Loads of people dling Northern on the dance floor. Not a big place, but very cosy. Staff are very friendly. Loved it. Will definitely go again.

Went to a comedy night here, saw 4 really funny acts, a bargain at £15 per ticket. The drinks are pretty reasonable too at £11-£13 per round for two people.

Great to sit out in the sun or indulge in watching the football

Attended a comedy gig here. First time at this venue. It's cosy and the bar is reasonably priced. Had a really good night would definitely visit again.

Really cool venue and friendly staff. Even though they were fully booked for a burlesque show, they squeezed me and my friend in! I'll be back next time I'm in Southampton.

Just got back from Panto with my two daughters laughted all night. Great night the cast were absolutely brilliant 👏 the script was incredibly well written and bloody hilarious 😂 Bar staff were really friendly shout out to David 👍 The owner was really lovely we sat with her Dad in the front row he was a diamond everyone needs a night out with Chris. Thank you for a great night

Attended to see a new play launched nice to be out and feel safe in a post covid world

Had just seen a show at the guild hall. Thinking of where to go next we heard a lady playing a ukulele and seen the lights and though yup Perfect. We where not disappointed Bar staff great table service getting used to that but was amazing this guy got it spot on and it was busy Prices where good for drinks 5 of us about £20 a round Definitely would go back here

I had the chance of playing there two times with my band "The Black Kat Boppers" and I can tell that the place and the people it's my kind! Clean, Charly & worm with its own attitude. Hope to be back soon!

We had two excellent gigs here, very well organised. The manager was on the go all the time ensuring restrictions were adhered to. We would certainly go here again after lockdown

This place is a must for comedy and especially the adult panto!

We went there for a comedy night, very well entertained. The bar took pre orders for the intervals which were ready and served quickly. The price of drinks was reasonable but the selection is a bit limited due to the size of the bar. Also note there is no disabled access to upstairs where the comedy shows are.

Great show, Jack and his bean stalk. The venue is back to basics but that was not a problem. Only minor let down was a chair that was on its last legs and not overly comftable.

Stephen Barry Irish vocalist was first class. Everything from Rock, Musical Theatre and Opera. He made the intimate atmosphere of the Stage Door resound with warmth and vitality.

Comedy nights are fun but too many chairs packed in is uncomfortable

Kinship Cafe. Love it here! Always go when I'm in town. Vegan breakfast is fantastic for the price. Vegan spread and plant milk. Child friendly, although a highchair would be a good addition. Friendly, helpful staff.

Went to the adult panto to find the advertised ‘free seating’ is a joke - 90% of the seating was reserved and despite getting there early, we ended up sitting at the back Make sure you ask if a big party has booked as ‘free seating’ was an advertising lie

Cheap drinks for centre of town

Bother the upstairs venue and the bar and community cafe downstairs are great. Wonderful evening entertainment with a lovely daytime welcome too.
