The Station in Southampton

We popped in here on a week day at about half 1 for lunch and was very quite the lady behind the bar was so welcoming and friendly. The pub is very nicely decorated and laid out with a nice rear garden with smoking area. It also has 2 tvs and pool table and darts which is nice too see in a pub. We had fish and chips and chicken burger with a side of hallomi fries and it was perfect nice and hot and tasty and reasonable price will definitely be coming back

Went there for new year celebrations as usually great. To find out when we got there that it was full of Travelers. Then went outside to then see a man beating up a women from the pub. For the bar maid to push the lady back inside and tell the man not to do it again. They let him back in! We didn’t get our free drink which was meant to be included in our ticket, the toilets had sick all over the walls and sinks. Toilet roll and urine everywhere and all the toilet doors were broken! Might be okay there for a pint during the day however I would not recommend going there at all for new year! I think they definitely need security as the staff had no control.

Called in last night for Karaoke had a great night, definitely my kind of pub, staff and regulars very friendly, Lee done an awesome job with the Karaoke 🎤🎤 Definitely be planning a return trip 😀😀 B & B 2 minutes away too so all good 👍👍

By far the best pub I've ever visited, the owners are amazing and the bar staff exceptional its a great place to go for a couple or spend the whole evening karaoke on a Friday or for live sport would recommend to anyone

Fabulous roast dinner which all came out piping hot, very polite staff and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We came here because of a recommendation from a friend and we weren't disappointed

Popped in to the station today for a roast to see what it was like, and ive got to say it hit the spot I had turkey and it came with a good mix of vegetables etc, I got talking to dan behind the bar before I had my dinner and he was very friendly and helpful, I will definitely go again.

Love coming to this place. The new landlord/landlady are very kind and welcoming. We live round the corner and seen many come and go. These guys are great and want the best for a place which is such a little gem in the area. The food was just amazing. Kids Sunday roast was really well done with medium rare roast beef. The pizza took me back to family holidays when I was a kid. Bamging

La zona ajardinada es estupenda, casi toda encubierta, con televisores salpicados si te apetece ver el fútbol. Recomendaría parar aquí antes de continuar su viaje a Southampton en sí.

Fantastic venue which has so much to offer. Brilliant food for budget prices, generous drinks deals, wide range of events, from DJ nights to a recent Xmas Market, very accommodating landlady & staff. Our Meetup group have been coming here on and off and absolutely love it.

They don’t accept cash. I had a £50 note and was rudely refused service. The young lady that later collected glasses was very polite though, sorry I didn’t leave her a tip, my money was no good.

Este es nuestro local desde que nos mudamos. La comida que hacen es maravillosa. Esperaba que el estándar de comida fuera similar a una cuchara o rey verde, pero no lo es! Honestamente 10 / 10. 2 4 1 hamburguesas un martes es más barato que lo que se puede conseguir en cucharas y es 10 veces la calidad. Realmente recomendaría! 🙂

Bueno, todos tuvieron un domingo de asado y postres. Fue muy agradable y sabroso. El personal del bar era muy educado y amable y recomendó la oferta de dos platos que era una buena relación calidad-precio que recomendaría a todos mis amigos y familiares a este pub y espero volver en el futuro. Creo que Dan y Emma son un gran momento y muy servicial y amable

After being in the far East for 8 months, I came home to replenish my financial assets. I went to this pub to have a nice Sunday dinner, unfortunately they had sold out. 4:40 pm. Must have been good. So I tried the Steak & Ale pie . It was tasteless and had virtually no meat in it at all. The bar service was very good , shame about the pie.

Popped in for some food. Anna served me. She was really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The katsu chicken curry was delicious!

Went to The Station today with my disabled mother for lunch. I'm gluten-free so they had a separate menu which I was very impressed with. Had a delicious lunch & the staff were lovely too. Definitely going back again.

Awesome staff, good food, all the locals are friendly and approachable. Always a good atmosphere on weekends with dj’s, karaoke and quizzes. Locals and staff are always very tolerant and patient with kids too, great pub!!

Went out with my partner on a Monday evening. It was mostly empty other than a few people. Food was excellent and staff were approachable and friendly. Meals were well priced and I enjoyed my lasagne and apple crumble. Worthwhile visit for anyone looking for excellent pub food and atmosphere.

Not visited for several years but looks redecorated and attractive. Didn't eat as it was the afternoon but menu seems OK although vegetarian options very limited. Wide range of beers and still obviously a good sports bar.

Lovely lunch for 4. Quick service staff are spot on. Very tasty dinners and hot. Steak cooked to perfection. Chicken was delicious.

I came here on Friday to watch the Southampton match. Straight away when coming in, people are playful fighting right by the bar and nothing is done about it. Making me feel uncomfortable. Later in the night, while sat outside a serious confrontation almost turns violent only 3m away from me. This definitely puts me off going in the future, hire some security and kick these people out.

Decent place to enjoy a meal and a beer in the courtyard , except there is NO BEER , and we were too late to order food. Only lagers and ciders or GUINNESS, and one very expensive pale ale. Not a pint of bitter in sight, let alone any real ales. As for food, our party of 10 turned up at 5.30 to eat. We were given menus to look at, and ordered drinks whilst everyone decided what they wanted. We went to order at just after 6pm, to then be told the kitchen closes at 6pm.!!! Great 😡. Knowing we were there to eat, why didn't the staff tell us this??? It's a nice dog friendly pub, but would be a great pub, if they sold beer and staff were more attentative.

This pub has been my local for 7yrs, & in that time I’ve seen new management many times. Some have been pretty good, some great. Under the current management, myself & others have noted how poor the drinks from the pumps have become. It makes you wonder how often the lines are cleaned. There had been some recent interior work done, but expected the tables, seats & bar to be cleaned before allowing customers back in. This has now happened twice. The toilets, both men’s & women’s were filthy as were the sinks. To top it off, there was no soap to clean your hands with. Totally unacceptable.There needs to be a drastic improvement before we return.

Caught short so had to overnight in the truck. Googled the nearest pub and this was it. Short walk to it. Nice greeting from the barmaid. Good pint of lager and an even better double cheese and bacon burger. Food top notch and great value. Thanks for looking after a hungry trucker.

Came here last Friday evening, me and my friends really enjoyed our evening with the resident DJ playing a wide range of music for all the customers. We also took advantage of the amazing deals they have on their drinks and shots. We asked when the next entertainment night was and they stated that they do entertainment every weekend so we will definitely be returning for another fun filled evening.

Lovely atmosphere- friendly and welcoming staff with brilliant customer service skills. Very approachable and helpful, also very accommodating with a brilliant choice of food which may I add was absolutely delightful. Wide range of beers, ciders and spirits. We sat in the garden in the sun enjoying our afternoon, safe to say we will be returning. Thank you!

Fantastic! Went with family for a birthday meal for my wife, Lip smacking Starter platter having crispy chicken wings and strips, Cheesy Nachos, Toasty Garlic bread and Crunchy onion rings. Daughter had the kids menu deal, Tomato pasta with side veggie, a fruity drink, and a brownie and ice-cream dessert for just £4.99, Good quantity, couldn't finish it all.. and the colouring kit and make your own Bottle bunny that came with the meal was an added bonus! She loved it! Birthday girl wifey had the Sirloin steak.... I sneaked a bite and it was cooked just as we liked it .. so soft and buttery... Chips cooked absolutely right, crunchy outside, creamy inside. My steak sandwich... Mind blowing!.. couldn't finish it and had to take most of it home. Yummy Honeycomb and Brownie ice-cream, Helps supports the Macmillan nurses, A good deed with a great treat! Service is top notch... Fantastic experience, would love to visit again!

Went here to have a meal with my brother who had come down. Brilliant atmosphere and more than happy to have my 16 month son running around. Bar staff were friendly and professional and more than willing to interact with the kids and try to entertain them. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone for a family meal and meet up.

No gas available for draft beers so only bottles and spirits available. Started closing up and telling other customers that they were ordering their last drinks at 9.50pm. I only dropped in for one pint but at £7 for a pint of punk ipa on special offer I don't think that I will be back. £4.50 for a single bottle apparently.. It's a shame because it's recently reopened after a refit and staff seemed pleasant but maybe a little too keen on having an early night due to a technical issue in my opinion.

Since I was last here they have really picked up the ball. Refurbishment is stunning inside and out. Beer garden is great with lots of natural wood finishes and seating for easily over 100 people. I'm impressed well done! When you have finished training the staff the 5th star is yours

What a difference good management makes! My visits to the station pub had declined over the past couple of years due to bad management and bad atmosphere. But now thoroughly enjoy my weekly visits. Caroline and Mark are a great team and the pub is a much more pleasant place to drink.
