Brunch & Barista in Southampton

Buena comida, personal amable y muy limpio. Menu extenso. Los precios y el tamaño de las porciones eran muy buenos. No es un lugar muy bonito, pero si no quieres comer en un restaurante de cadena o comida rápida este lugar es genial.

Gran desayuno, Se sirve rápidamente desde el personal amable y acogedor, Definitivamente volvería. Un montón de buenas opciones en los menús, desde patatas chaqueta, tortilla a hamburguesas y estacas

A great start to the day.. Perfectly cooked breakfast( veggie). Toast and a piping hot cuppa.. Spotlessly clean. Nice seating. Friendly and efficient staff.. Faultless! Definately on a return visit list!

Absolutely fantastic!! The food was very well priced, very well cooked and tasted great. Nice size portion. Coffee was very nice. Restaurant looks nice inside. My lunch cost me a similar amount to a toasted sandwich and coffee from another chain of coffee shops, but this was a bigger portion, cooked fresh on site. The coffee tasted nicer. And I’d much rather give my money to a business like this than a chain. If I was local, I’d be going there all the time.

Useful place, a blend of a British café and an American diner, that opened in May 2018 in Southampton's main street, Above Bar. The staff welcome you as you come in, letting you know that you can sit anywhere. They are friendly and attentive all the time without ever being obtrusive. The café goes a long way back, so there's plenty of seating. And all the cooking is done in a visible area behind the counter. You have a choice of a booth or a table or a bench near the counter. It's well lit, very clean, and comfortable. Smooth, clean, efficient place with decent food, and a small selection of bottled lagers. Good value for money. All day breakfast and sandwiches. Veggie options. And you can come in just for drinks. You pay at the till on the counter.

My wife pops in every Friday for her lunch and keeps telling me good the place is, so this week I decided to try for myself. Wifey ordered the Veggie breakfast and I had The Brunch meal, it was superb, delicious and great value for money. Special mention for the waitress who was super friendly to all the customers, just what is needed. Will be back soon

A very good place for breakfast or lunch, friendly staff, great food with quick service in a comfortable atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place.

Imogen has shown very impressive good customer service when I came for lunch with my aunt and uncle. My aunt wanted to get her nails done, and she suggested my aunt where to go. Sometimes it's not just about the food, having a good conversations and the connection are also important. And she did it☺️ She's friendly and lovely, can't complain 🙂!

Terrific restaurant not far from Southhampton train station. We wanted something to eat before going to cruise terminal. Alper the best waiter/manager. Works very hard to make you happy. Take bus from train station. Jeff D.

Breakfasts：Eggs Bene dict班尼迪克蛋-7.2磅 这个端上来的时候，我人都傻了🙂，烤面包片上面一片凉的火腿再加一个蛋再抹上蛋黄酱……我组长说看着就不好吃🥲，还不如自己在家煎蛋呢 BreakFast：The Middle One-5.3磅 一片培根，一根香肠， 一个煎蛋，两个薯饼，茄汁焗豆就那个番茄罐头豆加热下，一片吐司😅，就仿佛我去买了这些材料，厨房给我热了下 cabbage cake胡萝卜蛋糕 很甜！！！但还挺好吃的🤓，真的很甜，但就神奇的还蛮好吃，我妹说全英国的胡萝卜蛋糕都一个味道😂

Called in for a light lunch yesterday for the first time and what a find. It was very busy but we were served quickly and the food was delivered in no time at all. They are very organised in their service. the food was excellent we only had a light lunch but my daughters salad was very well presented and all the servings were very generous. We willd efinately become regulars here before our visit to the football match

Found this little place on our way to West Quay and liked it so much we used it both mornings for breakfast. Clean, simple, friendly, great value, well cooked and would definitely recommend!

Asked for an egg mayonnaise baguette. What arrived was a baguette that had been cooked like a panini with hard boiled egg covered in mayonnaise. The bread was still hot. The mayonnaise was running all over the plate. The salad was hot and wet! When I questioned the waitress she said “that’s how we always serve it”! Having sent it back I am waiting to see if they have the audacity to charge me for it!

Breakfast was good, offering a large, medium or small option. Fairly good quality for the price- not the best I’ve ever had but good value for money. Efficient service, clean and tidy place.

Had two big breakfast's food & service was amazing Great price. Clean toilets. Highly recommended will deffo go again.

Short walk from our premier inn. Very safe and clean. Great full breakfast. Eggs benedict was tasty but ham was cold so only warmth was sauce and muffins. Good drinks thoimgh.

Looking for a coffee and bacon roll in Southampton city centre and spotted this place on Above Bar opposite Marlands Centre. A friendly welcome, efficient service and good grub at sensible prices. Made a nice change from the identikit cafes nearby and I would recommend.
