Best Mac and cheese on the island!! Only pointer to improve it would be if there was a side salad included like there is if you order lasagne, other than that can’t beat it, we have been when it’s the two light bites deal in the daytime, so so yum and friendly staff behind the bar

Fabulous looking interior, great food as always, lovely staff, but... and the reason i am writing this review, the music was absolutley awful, the fact there is speakers by most tables there was no escaping it... I went to the bar asked if they can change the music, gave some advise like Indie folk or something, but they told me they have no control over the music and cannot change it, ONLY the owner can who was not there. This is bizarre that their is not choices, they were playing something most odd maybe mexican, i dont know but i heard other people also commenting negatively, to be honest it kind of ruined our experience. Come on OWNER sort this out, there needs to be a wider choice for the staff to control, whatever was playing was literally pitiful and awful and ruined the entire atmosphere. Please listen to your customers and staff, they are who matter.

We went in for food but they didn't serve food on the day we went in, that's fine we'll get some drinks then go out for food, we got a drink each and they both tasted a bit flat and dirty like the lines needed cleaning

A little cafe that does the job. Friendly staff and we enjoyed the veggie and regular full English breakfasts. My eggs were cooked perfectly as requested - thank you so much for that! Will return when in need of a good cooked breakfast!

Popped in for a quick lunch with a toddler and unfortunately the experience was very poor. Fish and chips were inedible - dripping in grease. Roasted veg panini, asked to be warmed and came back deconstructed and floppy. Every coffee cup was dirty and cutlery was grubby too. Thankfully they offered a refund but didn’t seem to want to listen to why we were unhappy - a big shame as sister store in Lake is always good.

Wow wow wow! I came here for a Sunday roast with the family for my birthday. The menu had a good selection for Starters, Mains and Deserts (although I was gutted there wasn’t the biscoff sundae as it changed to snickers). I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I had wedges to start with which were tasty as well as a Roast Turkey for main! The portions were perfect, lots of veg given and also cauliflower cheese too! The stuffing was by far the best stuffing I have ever tasted! Prices are brilliant too and I really hope this lovely business stays afloat because I would definitely go back again! The pub is very old and run down which would be my only slightly negative comment but it definitely didn’t ruin my visit! I couldn’t recommend this pub enough for a lovely Sunday lunch! Thankyou to all the staff for being so friendly and accommodating too!
