Amazing and fresh food! Lovely and warm atmosphere with amazing fireplace. The service was excellent, and the food portions were really big! Definitely will go back.

Fui a visitar a mi familia y yo fuimos al otro lado de la Red Lion, diría que es uno de los mejores pubs de St Margarets el personal es muy amable y acogedor. El precio es muy asequible y el ambiente era increíble. No podía pedir más. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

Great place lovely fish and chips

Easy location to get to, plenty of parking, comfortable surroundings & a warm welcome from all the friendly staff at a special event arranged and hosted by the Rock Rose managers to honour the community’s Service Veterans during Remembrance weekend. A stylish day to remember with something for everyone, sharing memories, enjoying the entertainment and raising funds for good causes, yet business as usual too, amazing! This place has become a real flagship asset to Dover. Hats off to all the crew onboard. Well done!

Works Christmas party. Basic pub grub but the atmosphere and staff made it a good evening.

Booked in for breakfast as I was staying at the hotel next to the restaurant. Food was very tasty. Service was amazing. Selection was delicious. Jade was amazing. Very informative and attentive.

Dined here with friends on a Saturday evening. Very helpful and attentive service in a lovely location in Sandwich. Food fairly good. This is no fine dining but decent food, nicely prepared and relatively tasty. I had a pork chop with Wardolf salad which was fine but my bugbear is the chips were not homemade but were likely bought in as frozen. Wife’s cuise de confit de canard was tasty with fresh vegetables. Pleasant evening and enjoyable enough so worth a score of four.

Been here a few times now. The cafe is normally busy and there is seating outside on a nice day. Order at the counter and the food/drinks are served to your table. A variety of sandwiches and cakes available. Clean and tidy premises and staff are always welcoming and a quick turn around on serving your food/drinks.

Not the first time i have been in here but will be the last. Always loved the "real fish and chip shop vibe" now it's cold beans and frozen skinny chips.

Yet again an excellent meal. I had bubble and squeak with bacon, ducks egg and a side of black pudding. My partner had the eggs benedict. Quality was exceptional and the portions were generous. We were served by Emily who was first class and very attentive.

I enjoyed my full English breakfast here .My favourite is the hash browns,however you must note that when you come here you must carry cash because they don’t accept cards .
