I asked what sandwiches were available and the helpful lady running the cafe showed me a nice baguette. The food was freshly prepared. I had a coffee as well and it was not expensive.

Called in this morning for a breakfast roll . Decided to get a bacon & egg bagette , bacon had been cooked hours earlier and warmed up abit before putting in the bread also eggs soaked in grease , can still taste it now 5 hours later . Found woman behind counter rude and very opinionated . will definitely not be returning .

I always popped in here on my way to work most mornings for a BLT (i always ask for non-crispy bacon) and a hot tea. The train station cafe is extremely expensive and poor quality compared to Buffers. There is always some fresh fruit on offer too. A little gem in dover

How I've missed dropping in here. Always great value and good banter (if you want it). My fave breakfast stop for miles around. So glad to be working around here again and loading up on a bellybuffer in the mornings.

No kidding. They do a breakfast sandwich for around 3.5 pounds that is astoundingly tasty and HUGE. This is really close to the train station. don't be fooled by the exterior. Looks kind of run down, but the food was great

Ideally place on the main route to the station, this little place does amazing bacon rolls for a bargain price. Service is always friendly and prompt. Don't bother paying twice the price at the station cafe, grab a hot drink here instead!

Excellent sandwich shop. Good food. Good value for money, much cheaper than the coffee shop at the station. Lots of variety. Friendly service. Go here all the time.

Just around the corner from the cafe on the station, this has an A board telling you it's cheaper than the station cafe. Not only cheaper - but better. As I walked in, she said "ah! you've saved the day - can you read this for me? Does it say 90 mills of cold water?" Yes it does I say. "Ah good I'm making a cake and I've left my specs downstairs." Lovely coffee and delicious bread pudding. Sat outside in the sun. Lovely!

Smashing egg and sausage baguette that was freshly made with good coffee!! They are situated just off the last roundabout before the ferry terminal-so very convenient! From a chap who travels widely it's a serious recommendation.....

Overpriced for a half cup of (warm) coffee. Had to wait to be served until the staff finished a phone call!! No eye contact just couldn't wait to get back on the phone !

(Very) small sandwich bar located on the road to the train station. Very friendly staff, offer usual range of fillings for sandwiches or baguettes, alternate a hot pork or hot turkey filling most days. Also offer salad boxes and range of cakes. Cole slaw particularly good when I've had it.

Very disappointed with Sunday lunch! One small bowl of vegetables between 4 people! Very basic, meat, potatoes and little veg with a Sunday lunch! Oh, the Yorkshire pudding was lovely.
