The best restaurants serving British food in Canterbury South East

Brunch visit just after midday., short wait outside - but well advised about time and offered free Tea for warmth (along with heat lamp burning away) I had the Grill up Almost my best ever breakfast But the sausages were a bit grainy Everything else amazing Would go again 9.5 out of 10

The food was delicious. Great flavours. we had a mixture of dishes including oysters, prawns, cod, tuna . Very busy so recommend booking

The food was great, best cooked breakfast I've likely tried out of home. Table service, was fast, efficient and friendly, food arrived in no time and the coffee was great! Really decent, clean food and the girls were lovely.

We went for dinner - and what a dinner it was! The food was great! Delicious and generous portions too. The staff were friendly and there was a lovely laid back atmosphere. We had a lovely evening.

Came here for a hot chocolate & it was delicious. Both my husband & I had the Hazelnut flavour. There was plenty of choice & staff were friendly. Will definitely pop in again.

Always enjoy coming to Lady Luck. Lovely atmosphere, quick service and great food - not an item on the menu that we haven't enjoyed. Staff are always friendly. 13/13 would recommend

Fish and chips+ Coffe - Big portion - Good quality - Coffe prepared properly. Missing music 🎶 I would repaint (redecorate) the place and make it more attractive from outside and inside. Other than that, all good.

Everything about this cafe is perfect. From the staff, to the food , to the decor. You won’t regret coming here.

Très belle endroit dans une ancienne gare cuisine raffinée. Le service était parfait les plats étaient très bon avec des mélanges de saveurs qu’ils fallaient oser.

Come down for my birthday , they absolutely smashed it. Star looked after us & made sure our meal went fantastic. Can't wait 2 go back.

It is such a lovely place, I am really glad we found it! A truly cosy pub with that unmistakable English charm. We went there for lunch, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious. We had sausage and mash with garden peas and red wine gravy and the portions were very generous! There is also a great selection of beer and ale, which really adds to the experience. Absolutely love the place! p.s. Just look at that stained glass window, what a beauty!

Under the previous owners from Essex this pub was amazing after the revamp, the food and atmosphere was fantastic and they got better clientele in. I've been back since under new ownership and the place is disgusting and full of drinks and louts that have ruined what was a lovely pub. I wouldn't set foot inside here again as it's full of drug taking lager louts who will ruin the expensive revamped decor. When I visited for a drink there was lads waiting to get in the toilet to have a sniff! Avoid!!

we'd walked past several times from the car park to the city centre and this time thought we'd try it for lunch. There's a courtyard out back for nice days and we enjoyed simple toasties and coffee. It was quite busy but the service was Ok and friendly enough. Perfectly fine.
