Met some friends for Sunday roast. Beautiful location & gorgeous building! Mind your head as full of low beams. We asked to move as the table we were offered had very hard high back chairs- no problem or fuss, we moved to a much comfier spot! Although the arms came off the chairs if you touched them! Took about half an hour for the server to take our order- but then the food arrived fairly quickly after that! I had roast beef (£25) & it was 2 slices of medium rare meat- half of which was fat & gristle. Laid over the top of the roast potatoes- to make it look more I guess? Very small portions of vegetables- which were tasty but could have easily had double (veggies aren’t expensive)! Tiny jug of gravy. The roast was £25! So not great value & the puddings were £10 & £12 each!! Big plates but not big portions- we won’t be back.

The restaurant is clean, decor tasteful with calm colours and staff welcoming, friendly and respectful. Presentation of food was both delightful and delicious, tasteful and tantalising. All questions answered in a confident, informed and friendly way.

We had a pot of tea that was good & nicely presented, however cake selection really did not meet our expectations. It's a bank holiday weekend & only cakes were a dark chocolate sponge, chocolate brownie, 2 layer Victoria Sponge (which we had & was ok) & 3 individual Carrot cakes. That was it, nothing else no Drizzle cake or Coffee & Walnut! When we came through the main door waited by what we thought was a staff member waiting to be seated but turns out it was hairdresser who shares the other half of the premises. The tearoom customer toilet (yes just one) is also located in the hairdressers but was very clean. We’d phoned Tuesday to reserve table, phone answered, "sorry we're closed" can you phone back tomorrow. Phoned Wednesday was told "no need to book a table", visited Thursday noon to be told "we've only one table you'll need to share, you should have booked", BUT there was virtually no one in the Tearoom, just a load of tables marked as reserved & for the 45 minutes or so we stayed very few other customers came in. If the numerous reserved tables are for afternoon teas, then fine, but perhaps if you converse with your customers to gauge how long they may wish to stay, or say for how long you can have a table, you'll probably generate more business.

First ever visit for me, went with a friend who has been before, and he absolutely loves it. Got to say I whole heartedly agree with him, the Big Man roll was delicious, as were the roast potatoes. Sat outside on the outside seating, even on a hot day I’d recommend visiting. I don’t get to Worthing very often to stop, but if I’m travelling nearby I would make a detour to here. Great friendly service from the ladies too. I should have taken a photo, but I was too busy eating.

I am surprised this place isn't more popular! Beautiful garden and tea rooms, delicious scones and the friendliest owners and servers. We had a nice chat with them about their garden, and they were extremely hospitable towards my young child, elderly parents and nervous dog. I'd highly recommend!

Lovely dinner at Bijan's Kitchen. Service was great, the waiter was incredibly welcoming, enthusiastic and he guided us towards what to order based on our preferences. The food was tasty, perfectly balanced, the grilled meat (lamb and chicken) was great too. Portions were generous. They even offered us a box of walnut biscuits from Iran after dinner. 100% recommend if you're in Henley and want to try something new and exciting.

Went on a Saturday evening, was very quiet, the food was ok, burger was good, short rib of beef was tender but fatty came with some mash small amount of gravy and one half of a carrot on top!We ordered chicken goujon starter to come with the other mains for our youngest as there is no children’s menu and when the mains came it was the roast chicken the staff apologised and said would sort but by the time it came about 15 minutes later the rest of us had finished our meals so youngest was sat eating on her own, with no mention of refund or discount fur the inconvenience, I also didn’t realise till after my husband had paid that we were charged £14 for two tiny sides of fries, in total it was over £150 for 4 of us and we only had mains and drink. Very expensive and two mistakes made by staff will not return.
