Fantastic service. Greeeaaaatttt time at the pub. All staff are very kind and helpful, with enthusiastic smiles. Definitely come here.

A lovely pub reasonably priced food excellent staff zoe thankyou for your lovely service and Matthew always efficient and on the ball and very polite thankyou to all for making us feel comfortable and welcome.

Just wanted to say, although local to the Kings Head, the drink selection faultless, the food is great, the staff brilliant (yes Zoe) but all seem to do their jobs very well, whether busy or quiet, always a friendly welcome, 🤗

Can never fault this place so far been in a few times now staff are really friendly and give a great service food is brilliant and excellent choice in drinks

Amazing pub and food, I am a regular visitor here and the food is excellent and very reasonably priced, Zoe and her staff are extremely friendly and its always a pleasure to come here.

Amazing January 2024 Went here today for lunch with my partner. Well what can I say we were served by the lovely Zoe she took our order advised us on what was the best deal and suited our budget. Zoe then went to the kitchen and cooked us one of the loveliest meals I’ve ever eaten in a pub. Kieran the assistant manager made sure we were well taken care of and everything we required was met with a smile and exemplary manners. I would recommend this pub as 5 star for a great day out or just to pop in for a quick drink best food and service I’ve experienced in a slough pub

Came to this pub last week as aswell as today with my Mum and Nan. I can confidently say that it is one of the friendliest pubs I have ever been in. The staff are polite and go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of the guests. I had the cheese burger today and it was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be coming back when visiting family.

A lunchtime visit with family. Today was my treat lunch after my diet class. I chose the Bacon and blue burger and can honestly say that it was the best burger I have had in some time. Staff are so happy and friendly, they accommodate meals when I am restricted with calories too. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Kieran and Tracy were amazing as always today, thank you so much for such a lovely experience as always 😊

The first point I’d like to make is we’ve been to the Kings Head lots of times because we know the area and the pub very well and we’d booked for 10 people for lunch at 1 pm. Our family are from Cippenham. Today was not great though but my initial comments are not related to the staff who obviously try their best but the premises are very tired and oh those toilets ! The main problem is just guys running the whole front of house and so it takes ages to order and the food started to arrive after an hour. My steak was totally inedible and Kieran kindly refunded my money for the mixed grill. The other meals were average but I would encourage Greene King to spend some money on the buildings and a few more staff just to cheer everybody up ! We’ve eaten at many Greene King outlets and the ordering at the bar routine doesn’t work when it’s busy especially when stocks are low and staff are in short supply. We probably won’t be back for quite a while !

Another lovely meal in this friendly pub , the lady (I think her name is Tracy ) went Out of her way for our order as we are all on a diet and wanted meals that were not actually set meals on the menu , had a great chat with her , dog friendly and a great place for good food at great value … love this pub 💖

Good friendly bar staff, although very busy got our drinks in couple of minutes. Had a lovely couple of hours, thanks to Tracey, Zoe, Kieran and all other members of the team. Thank you see you soon Marilyn

Christmas day was lovely the food excellent. Not rushed the staff were great and couldn't do enough to make it a lovely afternoon. Tha kyou to Tracy and staff. X

Very poor roast: meat tough, carrots overcooked, broccoli raw, potatoes straight out of pre cooked by deep fat freezer bag. Very disappointing- one guest said worst roast she’d ever had

Had a fantastic time. 25 of us for our annual Christmas family get together. Everything was perfect. Food, hospitality and they even threw in a free quiz. We go every year and they never disappoint

Amazing food! Wonderful service! Fantastic atmosphere! We had our family Xmas gathering here and, despite having 40 people, the food was brought out together and hot!

When ever we come we are always treated well and the service is always great when we go out everyone lives the food. Recommend going here love it!!

A great atmosphere, a fantastic group of staff friendly and helpful people. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. The food portions were excellent and very enjoyable. The on site car parking is a good benefit too.

Service was very good. Food was not particularly nice. Chicken wings were very bland. Fish was very wet and had no flavour. Chicken from the mix grill was very dry. Found this as the top 10 places to eat and was not particularly impressed.

I cannot wait to get back to the kings head once they reopen, the staff were lovely its been a long time over due. Every visit with my friends or family was great never any disappointment with the food, drinks or service the manager and her staff were always helpful with any questions about greenekings promises, allergens and were very thorough with their cleaning even before covid very lovely pub great atmosphere and definitely will be booking a table when they reopen. Awesome visit to this place with my family today, nothing is ever too much for the staff they made sure we felt safe and welcome, food was lovely and selection of drinks was great! If I could I would give a 10/5!! Thank you to all the staff we’ll be back soon

Went to the Kings Head last night for dinner with my family, lovely clean pub and friendly & helpful staff, we had hunters chicken, cheese and bacon burger and a kids meal all were very TASTY and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this pub.

Went to the Kings Head for New Year's Eve, had a meal and stayed until mid-night, the food was reasonable priced and steak was cooked to my liking medium/rare. Staff were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble even offered table service with drinks during the night!!! atmosphere was great the bar staff were really putting on a show to make our NYE enjoyable. Thank you Kings Head!!!

Popped in for a quick lunch a couple of days ago, haven’t visited for some time so hadn’t seen the great refurbishment...looks great.

Awful place. Came here today at 6pm (hardly rush hour) and before we could even say "we just want a cold dessert" the miserable barmaid pointed out that we'd have to wait at least 35 minutes because there was 2 (and she pointed them out) tables yet to be served their dinner. So we waited patiently and the chocolate fudge eventually made its way to our table. Was nice enough. And then I went to order a second pint and found I had to get in the food/drink queue with 3 others ahead of me. Despite the queue the barmaid was more interested in serving the locals (who were just able to click their fingers and get served without moving). Enough said really. Didn't even consider giving them my money for a second round. Why do these places still exist. That's rhetorical. Drive on.
