Another fantastic meal at Riva. The fish specials are a must although I’m always drawn to the fish and chips , never fails -so fresh . The new wine list has some excellent choices . Thank you to Aneta and Lindsey for looking after us as usual, I think probably now the only independent restaurant in the area. Will be back soon.

We ate here this morning. The food and service are superb. Everything we had was fresh, tasty and cooked to order. We also bought some pasties and cakes to take away. If you're Celiac or have a Gluten intolerance I highly recommend coming here. The deli owners are lovely people and passionate about what they do. This business deserves to succeed so please visit them if you can. We will definitely be coming back and we will also be ordering some more tasty treats online which they personally deliver (with a 30 mile radius).

Really enjoyed it. First time we have been, brought the kids for cookie dough, sundae and donuts. Desserts were delicious... Really friendly staff, we sat inside and it's nicely decorated and a chilled vibe. Will recommend and come again.

My Granddaughter and I took part in the Macaron Masterclass earlier this month and enjoyed every minute of it! Marie was absolutely lovely, very knowledgeable and most importantly patient! As a macaron making novice I didn't expect to get particularly good results, however with Marie's step by step easy to understand instructions and feedback my Granddaughter and I came away with lots (and I mean lots), of fabulous macarons. A fantastic class - highly recommend.

I’ve been here a few times now, often for coffee (which is consistently good) and a couple of times for food. Tuna melt on MOST bakery sourdough is exceptional! Avocado toast and bacon sandwich is good value and very tasty. I don’t often love paying for a pot of tea in coffee shops, but here it’s served in a lovely glass teapot, loose leaf and worth paying for. The service is always good, very friendly and patient. It’s a lovely cafe just opposite Hale station. Definitely worth a try.

Booked for an anniversary dinner but due to poorly child had to cancel the morning of. £45 charge to cancel a table within 48 hours! We hadn't even booked 48 hours in advance so I don't think they should be too worried about not filling the table. Rude and overpriced, won't be re-booking.

We visited whilst staying at a nearby Premier Inn, after attending the Tatton Park Flower Show, not realising it was so close. The bistro is very cosy and has a great ambience. The service was excellent and the food even better. My wife had the steak and I had the seabass. I was delighted to see crème brûlée on the menu and it was perfect. I would definitely return if in the area and would highly recommend the restaurant.
