The best restaurants serving British food in St. Helens North West

Not worth the price and poor presentation would not return smashed advocado was just under £9 each should be something with it and sat for a while before being serve tables too close together

We love it here great atmosphere, great for family's and more than anything some amazing food!!! I have been here for all different occasions though out the year. I have celebrated my little boys christening and my little girls birthday meal here also and I can't thank the staff for everything they did from start to finish to let us make our day/night Speail. We love Sam, she's amazing every time we are here she puts her self out of her way help others and nothing is too much trouble for her. All the staff are amazing and just make each experience so much better!!

This was my first visit and will probably not bother going back again, The breakfast was pretty poor, and as the kitchen is open plan, I could see the staff plating up. Everything is handled, using bare hands and when the lady was plating up the fried eggs, I could actually see the oil dripping onto the plate. Used a napkin to soak up some of the oil from my plate, and received a dirty look from one of the staff members. The whole place feels greasy and even the table surfaces and chairs have a sticky feeling to them. Behind the counter, there are visible greasy hand marks on just about everything.A 5 star health and safety rating? I don't know when they achieved this, but based on this visit, I dont see how that's possible.

Lovely food, lovely people, great place. Well priced, spotless clean and good understanding of dietary and allergy needs.

Macy customer service is 10/10 will definitely be back! Food is 10/10 to! Nice friendly atmosphere just what billinge needed!

Under cooked pie and cold pasties one warm and hard one perfect service very slow baker to concerned with check list still produced under cooked pies

Ordered sirloin steak medium rare. Steak arrived massively overcooked with a few insipid chips and a hideous salad - won’t go again

Lovely friendly place to enjoy a drink in the sun. The mobile pizza van is a real hit. All round fabulous 👏

We had bog off. Fair price, the burger was abit burned to be honest. Fries OK. Service was quick and friendly.

Had a lovely evening to celebrate 2 birthdays, the food was great and the staff were amazing the lady waiting on us was great couldn't do enough for us ,would highly recommend

Excellent little cafe. Lovely soup with a fresh buttered barm. Yummy. Egg mayonnaise sandwich - fantastic. Only minor negative were the chips. Cooked to perfection, but alas, the oil was burnt, giving them a greasy taste. Will definitely recommend.
