Nirvana Coffee Shop in St. Helens

We went for a baby shower, We were given afternoon tea. All the food was delicious, served with a choice of teas, coffees and soft drinks. Staff were friendly and helpful. Looking at the menu, there was also plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch and brunch at reasonable prices. Would recommend the cafe.

i come here every week on a Thursday ,mostly, with my grandsons and family. I have also taken friends here .I have never had any reason to complain .The Staff are great and always very helpful. Great food always cooked beautiful Great prices .nice atmosphere what could you want

This spot is super friendly and it’s a great environment. Place was super hygienic and the floor was freshly clean.They are really friendly and they are super welcoming overall an amazing place.

Visited here with work friends, staff super friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfasts and milkshakes, and also saw the afternoon teas which looked stunning. Asked at the counter and they said they do takeaways too, you can ring in advance and they will prepare it for you. Absolutely reccomend this place, will be returning asap. x

Arrived at 1pm to be told nothing was gluten free and had no jacket potatoes left ! It was 1pm. Had the rather expensive brownie which was quite gritty. Very disappointed 😞

My friend is disabled at the moment, due to illness, when we looked for somewhere that had allergy friendly as my friend is gluten free. We asked the young lady if there was anything available gluten free for lunch which was around 1.15pm.she said no nothing oh we have a chocolate brownie, as my friend had struggled to get in she didn’t want to try anywhere else so sat with a cake for her lunch, I asked if it was possible to have a salad, told no we don’t do salads. I asked for a side salad with my sandwich to be told it had to be In sandwich.very dissatisfied with today I was taking my lovely friend out and also she was trying to cheer me up from my husband’s bereavement.

This place is absolutely lovely. Soooo clean and lovely friendly staff. The food is great and reasonably priced, you would have to go a long way to get a better coffee shop. Wish this was closer to my home in Kent. Highly recommend.

5 of us of came to Nirvana for lunch. Greeted by lovely friendly staff. Good selection of tasty food on the menu board all freshly prepared. We all had different things to eat off the menu, baked potato, toasted sandwiches and paninis. We didnt have one but the flatbreads looked delicicious aswell. We all chose a from the selection of cakes to have with coffee after. Nirvana is a little gem in Waterside Village. Its bright and airy, very clean and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Thank you.

Lovely food and very friendly staff. I go there quite often for my breakfast and they do the lovely scrambled eggs on toast. The only downside is I wish they would do fried eggs for a change.

Called in for drinks as we were in the area. All drinks were a reasonable price and I can definitely recommend the milkshakes especially the strawberry and coconut. The cakes were of a good size and reasonably price though there was a limited choice as we were there late in the day. Seats outside which was perfect as we had our dog and very friendly staff. We will be visiting again.

We have tried nearly all of the menu at this point haha! The afternoon tea is gorgeous and they go above for any dietary requirements & extras needed. The staff are so lovely & welcoming. Go to breakfast and dinner place for us! Prices and variety are amazing and good for couples, famkly and kids we have even sat outside with our dog having breakfast Definitely recommend 💞

The food, drinks, service, value, atmosphere and even the location are all so good that I often found myself looking at the menu and wondering what I'll get next time, so I've been here every week since I started going. A brilliant place all around.

Visited with my mum and mother in law for her birthday and booked afternoon tea. The food was nice and nicely priced. The shop was quiet but had a few people come in but very pleasant and the coffee shop was super clean.Over all I was very happy with my decision to go and would go again.Only issue if any was parking as there is alot to building work taking place and not much space to park, I was lucky on day but just be aware of situation.

Came in on the 18th December for a coffee after school, first time visit. Was expecting high hopes given the reviews/recommendations. Sat down at 3.00 ordered 2 coffees and a hot chocolate and a toastie. Came in after a family of 6, so expected a wait, 3 girls arrived after us ordered paninis, low and behold their order was done and off they went. Still sat there 40 minutes later no food. Excuse made there was a party in. They didn't arrive until 15 minutes after us and were having milkshakes, who were made by the other server. Food arrived, no cutlery or offer of any condiments. Shame as it is local and was going to use it regularly after school. Will stick with chains, you know what you're getting.

This is a super place to visit. Although not a massive shop it's very popular and offers a relaxed vibe. The food and drinks here are superb. They make an excellent cappuccino and I recommend their wraps. Its all reasonably priced and you never feel rushed there.... save room for the selection of fresh cakes... especially the lemon!

Love this place, good coffee, best club sandwich ever, cheerful pleasant staff. go regularly with friends, after trying various good coffee shops in St. Helens we have made this our favourite place to go for a snack or lunch.

Having read the reviews I chose this place for our mother and daughter quality time. Our first impression was how big the place is and how lovely it was you were not penned in by other tables. This was just the beginning of our amazing experience. The staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were allowed time to enjoy every single morsel of our afternoon tea and even had a choice of coffee. And boy did we enjoy it. The price was very reasonable indeed. Would we go back. Most certainly! Finally, I would like to wish them all the best for the future.

Small friendly coffee shop which I went to with a small group of friends. I had the homemade leek and potatoe soup which was really good. Friends opted for bacon butties and coffees which looked equally as good. Nice comfortable environment serving fresh good food at reasonable prices, will defiantly be back.

Visited nirvana coffee shop today with my mum and my Nan from reeves court village for a bite to eat and the food was great couldn’t recommend here enough reasonably priced, friendly staff with good customer service, I will be visiting again in the near future

What a lovely place. We called in here late afternoon for a warm drink and a slice of cake. Really pleasant surroundings and very welcoming staff. Lot's of choice on the menu and portions were great. We will certainly return here, a really nice place to chat over refreshments and very reasonably priced.

Heavenly place to pop in for a brew and bite to eat. Staff very friendly coffee shop clean and tidy. Visited here as heard excellent reviews. Shop is clean and bright. Order a milkshake for my nephew he loves it, very berry with a doughnut. Ordered myself a bacon toast ie and my mum got beans on toast. Reasonable priced and good presentation, only thing that let it down, the bread. Bog standard thick bread. Ruins any sandwich. Too many coffee shops make this mistake. Apart from this everything was great.

Passed numerous times but don't usually stop so close to home but after not being able to decide what to have for breakfast decided to stop on way out and see what they did and glad we did because it was a very good decision premises spotless seating not cramped together and menu was pleasant change.My wife had scrambled eggs on toast all hot and eggs in side pot I had waffle with toffee sauce and ice cream which was pleasant change from usual fry ups.Service and food excellent.

Me and my wife often take our great nice and nephews out for lunch or just drink and a cake.We had been told about this new coffee shop and it's fantastic milkshakes, so we called in and found out for ourselves how amazing they are,the children absolutely loved it they all had a different milkshake and now asking when can we take them there again.

Myself and my wife visited a small but fantastic new coffee shop in sutton, let me tell you i have Never tasted such a perfect milk shake, (creamy and full of flavour), the staff are very friendly and most welcoming, the place is so clean and tidy and is defo value for money.Im not one for going to coffee shops however i will defo being going back there, especially now my wife has a taste for thier milk shakes

Went for lunch with a friend and her son... luck must have been on our side as we were able to sample the new menu!! We had an Jammy Dodger Milkshake and 2 Oero & Cream Milkshakes, one normal size & one kids size (cutest milkshake you ever did see!)Everything was spot on once again! New milkshake were delicious!!We had paninis and the little one (when he eventually woke up!) had beans on toast... paninis were well filled and tasty, beans on toast were well presented in a mini saucepan! ☺Can't wait to come back and work my way down the new menu!See you soon Nirvana Team! ☕☕

Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, great food. Would recommend the victoria sponge cake. (Also has a baby changing table in the toilet which always makes life easier.)

We have visited here a few times now after discovering it a few weeks ago. Firstly when we walked through the door we were immediately impressed by how clean and modern the cafe is. They have a great choice on the menu all at very reasonable prices. Today we had scrambled egg on toast which came served in its own cute litttle pan. We also tried a chocolate brownie which was only £1 and £1.50 if you wanted ice cream with it. The staff are very friendly and obliging. We know this is going to be a regular lunch venue for us.

Arrived there famished. Greeted with a warm welcome to a busy coffee shop. Got a delicious panini and washed it down with a salted caramel milkshake. Left with a cup of coffee. Lovely experience. Would go again

What a place!There is nothing to not like about this place, it's friendly and hygienic, looks amazing, brilliant milkshakes that put even the biggest coffee shops to shame and paninis that aren't your usual boring fillings and to find out its a local women who running it is good news to the community aswell.It's a hidden gem of St helens that I expect when word gets around will become massively popular.

Visited this coffee shop on the recommendation of friends, and we were not disappointed. The place is lovely and we decided to join the kids and have a milkshake. They were delicious and topped off with a doughnut to hold your straw in place, what more can you ask for? We also had food all of which was freshly prepared and tasty. Definitely worth a visit, unless you are on a diet!

This coffee shop is so inviting and such an amazing place. Freshly ground coffee without the nasty prices. I always choose a latte and the milk is textured perfectly. Sophie always with a smile on her face when I go in and always brings my order to the table (I order way too much :)) Too place! Thanks girls!

Have visited Nirvana on a number of occasions with friends. Never been disappointed. It's new, modern, relaxing and scrupulously clean. Staff so welcoming and friendly. Lovely coffee and the most imaginative shakes ever that are delicious.....oh and not forgetting great tasty paninis and selection of cakes and pastries.Nirvana is a great place for meeting up with friends, relaxing, chatting and for all age groups. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Very friendly team who always welcome you with a cheery smile when you walk through the door!I've sampled quite a few things on offer so far from paninis and cakes to coffees and shakes! Everything tastes and looks fabulous... and obviously is calorie free... ha!I would recommend Nirvana Coffee Shop for a lunch time gab with mates, a chill after the school run or even a mums morning! Give it a try... you won't be disappointed!!
