Beautiful atmosphere, came on Mother’s Day with family and was greeted with a free Prosecco and daffodil. Couldn’t ask for a warmer welcome or better service. Will definitely be retuning in the warmer weather too to the outside bar 👌🏻

Amazing pub! Friendly atmosphere and welcoming bar staff! A good selection of different drinks to choose from! A lovely beer garden to the back with and outside TV and an outside bar which is lovely in the summer time! Very family friendly and it’s also a dog friendly pub which is a bonus too! Would definitely recommend coming in for a drink!

Only called in because there was a Christmas fair on. Hosts seemed quite friendly. Place looked clean and welcoming.

Was there for a family gathering. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Staff were wonderful, as were the customers. Everyone was super friendly and patient. Managed to even have a game of pool with my 6 year old without anyone making a fuss.

I come here a lot as it's my local pub Got a darts board and pool table Friendly people are great banter and easy to get to for those that use public transport Live Music and Karaoke 🎤 Staff are spot on no place like home 👍🍺

This is my local pub and over the past few years it's struggled but last year it under went a massive refurbishment along with a change in management....and now it looks stunning! The atmosphere is warm and friendly again, great selection of drinks and last week they've started doing Sunday roasts again! They have live music on from time to time, plenty of tvs to catch the match and the staff are chatty! The loo's have also had a much needed overhaul too! They have a massive car park and a great beer garden for the summer.

since the refit and new management, the Rocket is a real winne. they launched their food menu today, had a beef roast which was 2nd to none, absolute winner.

It's OK but took ages to get served and was quite cold in there. Early days yet though

I've lived locally all my life and I've been in this pub once or twice many years ago ....but can't actually remember what it was like. However.....it has recently had a refurbishment and since it opened in December 2019, me and my boyfriend have been in 3 times. It's got everything a good local should have.....good pints (we had beer and cider), competitively priced, great music and very welcoming locals. We popped in for a couple of drinks one Saturday in January, not actually realising it was Burns night. Well, we were there for the majority of the night! They had a piper and had put on a spread of haggis....and other nibbles. Great pub that I'm chuffed to have right on my doorstep :)

Fantastic newly refurbished pub. A good drinking pub with food coming soon. Only lost a star because it doesn't have cask ales which is a shame. Also, wheelchair access is from the car park only which is a shame. It wouldn't have cost much to supply and fit a ramp at the front door. Perhaps this is something the owners will consider in the future?

Staff are just so lovely in this pub. I was made to feel very welcome. Decor is lovely and enjoyed my IPA very much whilst watching the footy and listening to great tunes.

It is getting better , after losing a lot of customers, the landlord is bringing back entertainment, quizzes, social events , hope he does well

Only pub in Rainhill with a pool table.. Very nice staff and atmosphere and a lovely pint.. We'll worth a visit!!!

Went in there to just have a look around. The barmaid, Helen was so helpful and friendly. Customers were also friendly, drinks reasonably priced and a large coal burning stove made it even more welcoming.

I live at the bottom of the road and have never been in here until recently. I ordered a pizza and it was so nice! it was made fresh and was honestly better than Italian restaurants i've been to. Lovely friendly staff and great prices!

Went in on the off chance the rugby was on and the guy behind the bar put it straight on for us. The ale was good and at a good price. Very happy will be back again.

Went Thursday for a pizza.the best I've ever had.made from scratch fresh and very good..will be returning for Sunday lunch served from 1-5pm.

All around great experience! Had a laugh and drink prices were reasonable. Shout out to Matty who served us our drinks and had a charming, friendly personality, made our night! Will definitely be coming here more often!!!

Visited for pr-booked Christmas meal with work colleagues. Food was average, beef with main meal was pre-sliced and very thin. Dinning room appeared to be in bar area. We were the only people having a meal and it felt a bit awkward eating with people standing very close by at the bar. Friends made it a good night but don't think I would go again for a Christmas meal.

Popped in to catch the last twenty minutes of the Liverpool game and was pleasantly surprised. The beer was good and reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and efficient. Only the toilets let it down a little. Worth a visit
