I regularly come to Turtle bay but it was my first visit to the Salford Quays chain. Excellent food, drinks and service as usual. Our waitress Dani was very helpful and kind. We had a bottomless brunch and she was excellent at coming back regularly to check that we always had a drink!

Despite staying in a hotel right beside this so called “hospitality venue” and having done literally nothing to cause so called staff at this “Hungry Horse” shambles to have a problem I was refused admission. I had committed the sin of going to watch Manchester United as an away fan. Although actually it was made clear the Hungry Horse was only prepared to admit and do business with people who had bought tickets as home Manchester United fans. Hard to tell if they were and are being strangely judgemental about me and my friends or about Man Utd fans but it seemed ignorant, inappropriate and unacceptable to me and my friends. Avoid this whole area around Salford Quays if Manchester United are playing at home. You are not welcome and that will be made very clear to you.

I had a really good time and the food was lovely. I was served by Jack who made the experience amazing. I will definitely be coming back.

Beefeater at the Quays In Salford on Thur., 3/10/2024 around 6:30pm: I took my wife to have a meal at Beefeater Quay House In Salford. I asked the young lady for this offer (please see below comments taken from Beefeater website), but she said this £20 for two are for residents at the Premier Inn only! We had no choice but to order two mains with drinks & ended up with two desserts. The total cost was just below £50!! I have my MasterCard credit receipts, in case you need them. Please can you let me know of your comments? “WHAT’S ON OUR EVENING SET MENU Savour those evenings with our Brand NEW Evening Set Menu, available Monday - Saturday from 5pm (excluding bank holidays). Unfortunately I didn't experience the quality of food and the customer service from the staff due to waiting 10 minutes at the door to be seated and was the only customer in the restaurant at lunchtime but I did observe 2 members of staff who noticed me waiting and still continued to chat with the kitchen staff...Poor customer service within hospitality. After waiting the length of time I waited I left but then noticed a male server Coming to Greet me by this time it was to late and I business elsewhere.

A really disappointing experience. My friend and I had a wonderful concert booked and wanted to get a nice dinner afterwards but in hindsight, I regretted booking this restaurant. Although the restaurant looks good, the food was really underwhelming. I ordered the Katsu chicken curry and chicken had no salt. I had to try and salt it to make it better. Even after that, it was still underwhelming and definitely needs more seasoning. My friend ordered the two types of sushi and left most of it on her plate. We thought about packing the food for her partner to have later but then we were informed they had a no take away policy which is wild in this day and age. The only thing we enjoyed was the popcorn halloumi but for the amount we spent, we truly felt there was very little value for money.

Visited around 3:30 pm for coffee and cake. They had some wrapped Eccles cake and a few pieces of "home made" caramel cake. These didn't look attractive but we decided to give it a try anyway. How a respectable supermarket like Sainsbury's allows a cafe to be open when there is virtually no choice and when what is on offer is way below what is acceptable, is beyond belief. We paid almost £10 for dry cake and some coffee. Total waste of money and infuriating.
