Brilliant food and service with reasonably priced meals. I had a carbonara and it was probably the best I had. Loved the little cheese baskets that were on top of the dish holding the Parmesan.

La mejor parte de este té de la tarde fue el personal. Era agradable amable y servicial. Aún así el ambiente general del entorno y la presentación de la comida era sosa. El hotel está en el borde de los campos muy lejos de spinning en el otro lado de la Irwell. El edificio que parece ser una fábrica convertida debería haber sido reventar con carácter, en lugar de la decoración era un marrón sin alma, que recuerda a un hotel comercial en los años ochenta necesita una renovación. Sin más tiempo gastado en la preparación y presentación de la comida han transformado la experiencia de comer. Mientras que le faltaba atractivo perfectamente comestible. Las bebidas estaban muy bien el Prosecco y el té eran lo más destacado de la comida. En general no tengo quejas sobre el valor como el cupón de descuento para un 6 compensado de 10 experiencia. No me alojaría aquí de nuevo.

Visitamos el Lynwood debido a las buenas críticas y estar cerca de mi hijo. Reservamos para 12. 30:00, Sábados a mediodía porque pensamos que sería ocupado, éramos los únicos clientes. El aperitivo de gambas estaba sabroso y bien presentado, aunque un poco caro para el tamaño de la porción. Los nachos estaban a un precio razonable para el tamaño de la porción, pero hubiera presentado mejor si hubieran sido recién hecho de tortilla en vez de salida de un paquete (Doritos u otros marca). Por último, la sopa era sin embargo un delicioso total decepción cuando tomé un bocado de pan congelado todavía el acompañamiento. Esto no debería de suceder, no hay ninguna excusa, lo suficientemente mala si el restaurante estaba lleno, pero cuando está vacío es atroz. La camarera fue muy amable en su servicio y retiró el pan y trajo algunos más, ya había terminado la sopa en el momento en que llegó. Los platos principales eran de calidad mixta también! El pollo frito Cajún era genial, sin embargo, la pizza de pollo no era, piel pollo frito, asqueroso! En general no fue una buena experiencia, encantadora camarera restaurante moderno, normas deficientes de la cocina. Tomamos café y postre en otra cafetería cerca y no visitar el Lynwood pronto! !

Nos alojamos en el hotel y llegamos tarde, así que decidimos comer en el. El restaurante está en la misma decoración de buen gusto y moderno como el resto del hotel y de la academia para el impresionante espacio en la azotea. El menú es variado y la comida bien cocinada y presentedas así como deliciosos. El personal es también muy buena andre amable. En general un muy buen descubrimiento andre recomendaría.

Compramos un grupo en vale para una cena de bistec y copa de vino para dos. Noche fantástica de principio a fin. El hotel es limpio y moderno y el personal muy amable y muy profesional. El restaurante está muy bien decorado y muy acogedor. Compartimos el plato de carne que teníamos como entrante. Nuestra cena de bistec era fabulosa, la carne estaba cocinada a la perfección. También compartimos el postre de merengue de limón, que era una maravilla. Nos dieron una buena copa de Malbec con la comida. Todo esto terminamos con un café. No puedo esperar a volver.

Really enjoyed this, especially as I'm not really a fan of dining alone. Service was fast friendly and efficient. Food was perfectly cooked and stylishly presented - and good value (especially with the 20% hotel resident discount). I especially enjoyed the smoked salmon gravid lax starter. I also had the sirloin steak which was tender and cooked medium rare- exactly how I had requested. Highly recommend. Would visit again if I'm in the area.

On the third floor of the Ainscow Hotel, this is worth seeking out as the food was a very good quality and pretty reasonably priced. I ate as a resident and hence benefited from a 20% discount they were offering, but even without that I thought the prices were good. Started with Bury Black Pudding with poached egg, well seasoned, enjoyable and tasty - perhaps could have done with some bread to go with it. For the main I had sea bass with saute potatoes, Bok Choy and sugar snap peas, all cooked very well, perhaps slightly salty but otherwise very good. Nice glass of chenin blanc to wash it down, didn't have a pudding.

Lovely hotel. Restaurant big, clean and bright. Lovely terrace if weather is nice. Greeted by a lovely waitress called Linda, so friendly and welcoming. We had the afternoon tea. Lots of sandwiches, cakes, tea and prosecco. Immaculate toilets. Could not fault it. We looked at the main menu whilst there and a very good choice for reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Me and my friend attended the afternoon tea and am so glad we did it was a really good setting using such beautiful cups and saucers and tableware the cake stand had such a good choice of sandwiches and cakes we wasn't disappointed and worth the money

Helpful, charming and knowledgeable waiters. Excellent service and well cooked food. Best rib-eye steak had in ages. Good wine selection. All in all very enjoyable meal.

Visited the Lynwood last night. This was as a result of checking on tripadvisor first. The food was excellent, very good value too. The staff - were BRILLIANT, thanks especially to Chris for his attentions. My mum was 80 and I asked for them to arrange the cake/candles etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Trying to satisfy a faddy eater is always difficult - to quote - 'if it is in our kitchen you can have it!' great. We will be back before graduation I am sure of that.

We booked for five of us to celebrate our daughters graduation. On arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our table, Pauline the waitress explained that we were the only ones booked in as they tended to be quiet during the lunchtime but offered to pop on some background music. We found her to be very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food arrived in good time was piping hot and excellent clean plates all round, the desserts did take a while however we were offered a discount as an apology which we were more than happy with. Overall excellent staff and food would definitely recommend

The food was nothing short of excellent with service to match.This restaurant deserves to thrive.We will return especially as with a tastecard it represents insane value for money which is secondary to the talents of the chef;the attentive service and ambience along with free parking at the hotel.A great discovery.....

Four of us had a meal yesterday in this fabulous restaurant. I cannot say enough about Shannon the wonderful waitress who looked after us all evening. She was so attentive and pleasant, a pure pleasure to have looking after you. The steaks were devine. Everything about the hotel and restaurant were 10 out of 10. The manager at the end of the evening went out of his way to ensure we got out of the car park safely and waved us off, such a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this wonderful place and delicious food. Compliments to the chef thank you.

We have just had spent an evening in the Lynwood Restaurant and really enjoyed the food, the service and the relaxed atmosphere. The service was excellent provided by Stephen and Lee who were professional, courteous and friendly. The food was well presented and very tasty, two of us had steaks which were cooked to perfection with proper chips. All three courses were very enjoyable. This restaurant is well worth checking out if you are in the area or staying at the Ainscow, we had a Tastecard which made this excellent value for money.

Went for dinner with my wife; we were greeted by a very friendly chap who I think was the restaurant duty manager and were shown immediately to our table. The food was well presented and very tasty from the starters through to the warm chocolate brownies which we shared for dessert. There were a few niggling points with the service including forgetting a drink and bringing the wrong starter for my wife which in fairness was her alternative choice so she ate it anyway. These were minor issues which will resolve with time and experience

Valentines day meal was amazing my partner had soup and steak and I had the lamb rump both where cooked to perfection as there was a small wait because they where quite busy we was given a champagne sorbet as an aperitif which I thought was very nice would definitely eat here again

Used the hotel restaurant for convenience really, was surprised by the excellent quality of the food and the staff.

Have to mirror chris_czx, on his comments, well designed hotel with a contemporary feel. The restaurant on the third floor is a great size, but has an unfinished appearance, with as I would agree poor lighting.The food more importantly is as good as all the other hotels in Manchester and the service feels more attentive than most restaurants in the city without being overwhelming. Restaurant and terrace are still work in progress, but the food and service is at a great standard. Will be making The Lynwood a definite must return soon and am sure with a little attention to the room décor, lighting and props will make it a destination for diners looking for quality food, service and venue. The prices seemed on the money for such quality ingredients.

I went to this restaurant with my wife partly because they accepted our Taste card but also because it is very new, and we are always excited to try something new. We were not disappointed! The food was tremendous, excellently presented and tasted wonderful. The service from whom I assumed was the floor manager of the night was courteous and very polite. The food can be a little pricey, however for the quality and the service provided there was little to fault. Perhaps the only suggestion I would make is that the ambience was a little too dark, perhaps they could put up a screen to hide the presumably breakfast buffet area of the restaurant rather than just switching off the lights.Overall, a wonderful experience. Even without a Taste card we will definitely return in the future.
