Really good food we go a lot inbetween job highly recommend

Nice visit busy loud but somehow still quite homely food took a while but complimentary drinks were offered bavette steak particularly good worth wait.

We love vintage ambiance. I used to visit here a lot a few years ago, but hadn’t visited again until recently and I was very surprised. Me and my family went for the first time again a few weeks ago and we have returned every weekend since. Their iced coffees are so delicious. We haven’t had chance to try too many of the breakfasts yet, but the pancakes and scrambled egg with chorizo are both gorgeous. The staff are lovely and friendly.

Amazing place. Actually it is my new favourite place in Monton. Owners and stuff are very welcoming and genuine. The food is delicious.My favourite dish is the poached egg with salmon. They have the best sticky toffee pudding in whole Manchester. Highly recommend 👌

Coming here for the first time, the food was exceptional, no need for salt, pepper or sauce's. Definitely needed in more towns and city's.

Vintage Ambience Exceeds any customer service I have experienced in monton or far wide. Ishan & his team go above & beyond to ensure you are comfortable, warm & fed with there exceptional table service & free nibbles! I often visit for breakfast/ a glass of wine & the atmosphere is always relaxed, clean & well serviced with excellent entertainment. The food is also extremely good. Try the breakfast & lunch menu! You will not be disappointed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went for lunch for 7 people. Couldn’t book a table for outside, but found a spot. It started to rain a bit and there weren’t enough umbrellas so they had to squeeze us onto a makeshift table inside. It was so loud inside: banging dishes, mashing ice, staff stomping up and down stairs, music was also quite loud to try to cover up the noise. A bit unpleasant to be honest. Because we couldn’t book a table we could only have the table for 1hr. However food took about 35-40mins to come. But a waitress said not to worry. That being all said, the staff was nice and food was good for a reasonable price. My partner and I got the VA fried chicken salad and Halloumi and chorizo salad. Food was a 8/10.

Just popped in for a quick drink. Very friendly staff, three crumpets beautiful served and great coffee. Water and biscuits for my dog. Thank you.

I have been at this place for my bithday and dad's bithday and Fathers day and it's been an amazing time each every year. I have taken pictures everytime and i say to my family this place is definally Instagram worthy

I recently visited Vintage Monton and absolutely loved everything about it! The moment I walked in, the cozy, rustic ambience and the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee made me feel right at home. The baristas are incredibly skilled and friendly, and they crafted the most delicious caramel macchiato I’ve ever had. The almond croissant I tried was perfection—flaky and buttery. It’s the perfect spot to relax, read a book, or catch up with friends. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu. Highly recommend!

Sign says shuts at 10pm, google says shuts at 7pm. Walk in at 6:15pm for them to tell us they are closed! We have tried to come here three times now and only had a drink successfully once. First time was told there was no space despite being half empty and third time today.

Have visited several times and always enjoy the hospitality from both the owners and the ever so friendly staff, especially Jess who always has a smile for everyone. Food is always good and if it's just drinks you want they do really good cocktails with live music on Saturdays but best to book a table for that because it can be popular. Nice little garden at the back for when the sun is shining and if you're driving there is a car park next door. All in all would highly recommend.

Lovely place ,only thing that out of off when we went to pay the bill the lady on the till said it’s a £7 tip is that okay ! Been here before and never been told to pay a £7 tip. Would not return based on how they just. Expect a £7 tip

So impressed by both the food and service! We walked in on a Saturday morning and were shown to a table - they took our orders quickly without being too pushy! Had a gorgeous iced coffee and the pancakes with sausage and bacon. I asked for no egg (personal preference) and she kindly added an extra sausage instead! Cannot fault anything with the food, drinks or service and will 100% be back if I’m ever in the area :)

Two of us went for a mid week lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the VA Club which I really enjoyed (very tasty chicken) and my friend had a chicken salad. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant constantly pleasantly full.

Only had drinks. Was there 2 hrs. Had 4 drinks each. Waiter strolls across, we are half through our drinks, and says well DO you want another drink! So offensive with his attitude! Well NO! We are out the door! Will not be giving them my custom ever again. He was very rude!

I absolutely love this place I’ve been twice now the staff are amazing and friendly I’ve had the full English both times as it does me for the full day and the sausage patty’s are gorgeous on it. The decor inside is absolutely stunning, the tables are well spaced out with a mixture of low and high tables. You’re made to feel so welcome the moment you step through the doors, it gets so busy the moment it opens so we like to reserve a table so we don’t miss out. There’s a massive car park at the side so plenty of parking for everyone too.

Very nice food which means the Cafe is very busy so its best to book especially at weekends. Every dish for the 5 of us was tasty and plentiful.

Booked for a mother's day treat. Afternoon tea for three people. It was lovely, the member of staff serving us was very accommodating for one of our fussy eaters. The food was delicious 😋. Would definately book again in the future.

Visited here for breakfast with my dad on a busy Wednesday morning before we went to bible study. We were rushing a bit but pre-booked a table for half 10 but got there early as we had to be away for 11. Food and service were fab and would highly recommend 😁 The restaurant is located on the busy main road through Monton and provides plenty of great breakfast and brunch options. I had the vegan breakfast and my dad had the mushroom, spinach and poached eggs on sourdough. We both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and would definitely visit again 😊 There were plenty of other options on the menu and pricing was competitive on the most part, with some dishes being on the more expensive side. The restaurant environment was a pleasant, welcoming and clean one even though it was busy in there. Staff were great and the food was tasty. It's definitely a good place to grab breakfast if you are travelling through Monton or in the area. All the full breakfasts looked fab and the vegan one was amazing. Shame we didn't have more time to enjoy our meal. Thanks for a lovely experience 🙏

Amazing food, great atmosphere.

Nice ambience and decor, very in keeping with the name of the restaurant. Brunch wise, highly recommend the loaded pancakes with bacon and syrup. Really good, though the portion could have been a bit better, specially the Cumberland sausage patty. Ordered the full veggie breakfast at our own peril. The veggie sausages and black pudding just don’t work. Recommendation: cut out the pretend meat and include proper veggies : spinach for example. Potatoes really good!

Hadn't booked but managed to accommodate us. Lovely atmosphere and staff amazing. Only a couple of things otherwise would have given 5 for all, bacon was overcooked and I would suggest using tje bigger marshmallows for the hot chocolate

A small cafe with the pricing of an expensive restaurant. I went in for breakfast but was given a seat on the corner near the bin, and the english breakfast was ok but its too expensive for what it offers. Will i go again ? may be not due to two things 1) how i was accepted and given the seat in this cafe ( Didnt find them friendly or happy that a customer like me came in for food) 2) doesn't worth the price

We came here today for brunch for my birthday. When we arrived I was wished happy birthday, and there was a happy birthday placard on the table. I was also given a free cocktail! One of our food orders came out wrong by mistake but this was fixed very quickly by the staff who were all very helpful and friendly. The food was lovely and we had a great time!

Before I start this review I want to say how lovely the staff were, this review is not a reflection on them as they were beyond lovely and accommodating. With that out of the way, let's get into it. Firstly I was seated right next to the door, not sure what they can do about it, but every time that door opened on a cold winters day, you are feeling it. I had to put my coat on in the end. This could have been forgiven had the food been as amazing as the staff, alas that was not the case. I chose an item that I presumed could only be good as described as 'The famous VA Bennies' which was basically their take on an eggs Benedict. The eggs were slightly undercooked, you want a runny egg, but the white was also slightly runny. The hollandaise was tasteless too, definitely needs an overhaul. My son had a kids full English, he said it was nice, but he's 4 so can't really rely on his review. Such a shame as the place itself looks nice and the staff as I said were lovely.

Lovely place for brunch. If only I could have a cocktail but had a 4-hr drive ahead of me. I had the VA breakfast, which was delicious. Service was great and staff were friendly. Was very busy for a Monday morning so seems very popular. They do ask if I had a reservation but I didn't. Can imagine it would be very busy. Highly recommended.

Met up with work ladies who have retired for a coffee and cake, food looked lovely the cake we had was delicious, lovely spotless clean, staff friendly and came talking to us, loved the evening, made arrangements for another date, this is going to be our retirement girls meeting place.

Decent modern British cafe, there's plenty of seats, service is friendly, and brisk. There's a plenty of choice in the breakfast and brunch menu, prices are reasonable. Food is very good, it's a decent standard, the portion sizes are generous. It's not that busy before 5pm, it's busy at lunchtimes and the morning so reservations are recommended.

We didn't have a booking, and we were given a table. The atmosphere was lovely and quite busy for a lunch time. The service was second to none and very attentive. The prices are in keeping with other places. The food was divine. I'd go again and would highly recommend to others

The food was gorgeaus. it was quiet noisy, plus the door kept being left open. House wine was 25 00 a bottle, I thought was expensive. I would go back again.

Delicious food and lovely kind staff. However, small portions for the price and bread was burnt on outside but delicious otherwise. The brew was very weak, skimped on the tea leaves a little! They know how to smash avocado and poach an egg though!

Really enjoyed my time here. We were late going in and the staff were really understanding. The food was good and the staff were lovely. My friend came with her baby and they were very accommodating giving us a high chair. I even liked one of the songs playing and the staff wrote the name down for me. It's fairly popular so they have time limitations but give you a reminder and don't try to rush you out. I'd recommend going here if you're about Monton.

Great brunch. Lovely staff. Came with a 1 year old, and they were super accommodating. Would recommend their pancakes. And hot chocolate. Good value, too. I got brunch loaded pancakes (pancakes with egg, bacon, and sausage patty, and maple syrup). It was so good and was about ten pounds. Highly recommend. Super chill.

Visited for something to eat mid afternoon, with a friend. Food was lovely ! We weren't rushed at all and the staff were lovely when we finally paid the bill!

I do like it here, we have been many times, but on this visit a service charge was added to the bill even though this wasn’t mentioned either in person or on the menu. This needs to be addressed.

Lovely cafe. The decor is beautiful. Food amazing especially the red pepper and halloumi on sourdough bread with rocket salad. I had the pink latte which tasted delicious. Staff are really friendly. The afternoon tea looked amazing so maybe I'll try that next time.

Perfect brunch experience. Brought my fiancée here as a treat but the quality and the atmosphere was amazing. There weren’t any free tables, we booked ahead, and everyone just seemed very happy and enjoying themselves. The coffees and the eggs were sublime and the waitresses were really lovely and down to earth. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area - there’s a reason it’s so highly rated on TripAdvisor

Popped in today for just a coffee and a hot chocolate. We were greeted by an extremely friendly young lady, seated very quickly and given menus promptly. We chose not to dine but from start to finish, including when we were paying the bill, we were made to feel very welcome, by all of the lovely girls who were working today. Thank you for making our visit so welcoming and we look forward to returning.

Love place and the staff made me and three generations of my family very welcome. The pancakes with streaky bacon and maple syrup were amazing!
