Visited around 3:30 pm for coffee and cake. They had some wrapped Eccles cake and a few pieces of "home made" caramel cake. These didn't look attractive but we decided to give it a try anyway. How a respectable supermarket like Sainsbury's allows a cafe to be open when there is virtually no choice and when what is on offer is way below what is acceptable, is beyond belief. We paid almost £10 for dry cake and some coffee. Total waste of money and infuriating.

It is a very convenient cafe serving drinks and hot food. It’s quite clean and spacious. We ordered fish and chips and lasagne. It’s not a specialty restaurant but it does the work.

Wouldn’t bother with this place. Went for a look but prior to looking further went for a visit to the gents. Absolutely rancid. Disgusting, filthy environment. No excuse whatsoever when you think Sainsburys must have 100s, if not 1000s of cleaning products for sale in store. If that is what it’s like doesn’t bode well for their catering environment. Disgrace. 🚽💩

Staying at the nearby Campanile and called in for breakfast at about 930hrs. Quite busy with shop workers and builders from the nearby sites. An excellent full english for less than £4. My wife ordered the ham and mushroom omelette which she said was a little dry. Served fresh and speedily by warm and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

La comida era bastante normalita para lo que cabe esperar en un café del supermercado. A un precio razonable y el personal muy servicial. Incluso calentado la comida de bebé para nosotros que muchos no hacer ahora

Great place for breakfast, good coffee and all the food fresh. If getting a bacon roll ask for two slices though.

Visited on way to PMT Staff behind counter 2 larger local ladies as miserable as sin everything too much trouble huffed and puffed taking orders... However young Portuguese chap who served us was brilliant.. constantly amazed how our own people from the UK are terrible when it comes to customer service yet someone from a foreign country does it happily with a smile.. anyway I degrees £13 for fish chips peas, milkshake I had a spud tuna mayo with tea. It came well presented by the cheerful chap tuna mayo very watery all mayo little tuna but was ok. Staff behind counter terrible food average but our Portuguese friend excellent I doubt he will be here long.

Family trip for Christmas lunch to break up shopping. Lovely meal with veggie option for me. Staff charming as usual. Music at nice low level and good atmosphere. Often see friends from neighbourhood in here which is nice. Please buy them a new dishwasher or sort out the operation. Fed up trying to find cutlery that looks clean when whole batch still smeary which happens too often to be acceptable.

To try to make grocery shopping less boring I do alternate between Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsburys and M&S. I really like Sainsburys for their children's clothes as well. We have two grandsons and we often buy clothes for them from there, they are reasonably priced and good quality. Towards Christmas I love their gateaux and they do a sort of mince pie which I think is called Ecklefeckan and is especially nice when warmed up.

The food isn't too great and the cutlery isn't washed very well but I always find the staff to be friendly. Today I was served by Dylan, who spoke very politely and was helpful.

I like to have a big greasy breakfast before my weekly shop - and often stop off at this cafe. They do a good fry up and make excellent coffee. It's a shame that the cutlery is always dirty and the tables are not kept clean.

What an utter disgrace this place is. The amount of money Sainsburys makes and they can't sort out the toilets. They are absolutely rancid and smell like an elephant house. To the manager....get someone down the aisle, pick up some Domestos and some cloths and get it sorted pronto. Filthy dirty hovel you're running.

Staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Express, and wanting to avoid their exorbitant prices, I popped in here. It has everything the average Sainsbury's has. Clean and logically laid out.

Dirty cutlery, given pots of tea with no cups, then cups but no saucers. No napkins, sullen staff, when told most of the cutlery was dirty just said 'oh' and walked off. food average, won't be coming again.

We nipped in for a quick bit knowing the supermarket cafes are never the best. Had a breakfast brunch... Veggie option., the veggie sausage taste too much like meat.. First error, the chips that were dropped from a great height on to the plate were cold a soggy, cheap teabags, cheap beans. Go to your local cafe for better value and quality

Breakfast here was freshly made and served up to the table rather than something that had been kept warm for hours on end. For under £6 for full English, tea and toast you can't beat it.

We called in to the upstairs cafe last week for a quick lunch and were very pleased with the quality of food. The staff who served us were friendly and the young lady who brought our lunch was pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. We ordered a jacket potatoe with a filling and salad and also a ham omelette....which was THE nicest omelette I've ever tasted (bar my one haha). Well done..... We'll be back!

Henry’s has recently reopened after renovations so this was our first visit for a while and I was pleasantly surprised. The bar area has much more space than before and comfy seating. We went for lunch and our food arrived in a reasonable time. We all had different meals and they were all hot and nicely served. There was a good choice of desserts and we would all recommend the crushed mince pie sundae from the Christmas menu, it was excellent! The young woman behind the bar was friendly and we had a bit of banter as we were ordering and the manager who brought our meals to the table was also friendly and pleasant. The food was reasonably priced and I would happily pay them another visit soon. Definitely would recommend them for a nice lunchtime visit.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn Manchester West for 2 nights from 1-3 Sep/23. They offered free car park at reservation online. The Hotel reception is accessed by clients walking or by car through a car park contained within the Hotel walls, which anyone would think is part/property of the Hotel. So I followed the signs and parked in the designated spaces for the Hotel clients. When I checked in reception I was not informed I had to register my car in a self-service touch screen device during the period of my stay. Later after I returned home I received several penalty notices for parking in the Hotel car park. My penalty notice appeals where declined by the Holiday Inn Car park administrators. More than 1 year later they want to force me to pay with interest the several penalty notices they issued knowing I was entitled to free car park while I was staying in the Hotel. This raises the strong suspicion there could be a scam by the Holiday Inn Manchester west and its car park to extort money from their clients.
