Came in for food with my daughter, was greeted with a warm welcome from the management. Food was delicious, atmosphere was excellent. Overall a really great experience. Will definitely come here again

New menu is great the cheeseburger spring rolls are amazing staff are always happy to help

Been here a few times now and I love it every time, the staff are wonderful and always happy to help. The food is delicious and there is tons of variety for a very good price. I will definitely be returning again!

Great atmosphere all round done Friday night karaoke had great laugh with great company the place is like family make feel welcomed from moment came too moment we left will defo be visiting again!

Very disappointed we orderd 2 Serloin steaks with chips mushroom tomatoes onions and pepper corn sauce after or starters, we asked for steaks well done, but steaks were burnt on outside and raw in the middle, we spoke to Daisy Who said she was chef manager, she agreed that the steaks were far from well done and was very unhelpful, this is definitely one of the worse meals and customer service I have ever experienced, the one star would be because we have to add one or you can’t leave a review

It was not a good experience. Not family friendly. (Unless they know you) We were a large family party sat outside. We were repeatedly told that we had to leave the outside area of the pub at 9pm as it was a legal requirement because we had children with us. We were told this by a male employee at 8pm, then again at 8.30pm then again at 8.55pm. We left. We were staying at the Premier Inn. Whilst we're were turned away there was a couple having a few drinks....with 2 children. They did not get asked to leave even when we pointed this out. "Must have been overlooked," a female employee said. The same employee then went over to this family, cleared the drinks & they stayed. They even had children walking into the pub later to get lemonades... Nothing said, so the legal rules don't apply to them? Didn't feel welcome at all.

Came in for a birthday meal with my wife and daughter. We were served by Matthew who sorted our drinks out and showed us to our reserved table. We ordered food with Scarlett who was friendly and helpful. Myself and my wife ordered the pork tomahawk and my daughter had a adults mac & cheese. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time considering it was busy. My daughter really enjoyed her meal and I would say the pork tomahawk is the best meal I've eaten off the menu. I couldn't fault the way it was cooked, please pass on my compliments to the person in your kitchen team. The atmosphere was great as always. If I had one gripe it is lack of seasoning on some of your food. eg: chips, vegetables on skillets, being someone who works In a professional kitchen this is a basic mandatory requirement to season everything.

I visited this place with my family tonight for Tea, we was a party of 9 but ended up being a party of 5&4… I realised there was no big tables to cater for this, I asked may I push 2 tables together to a girl, she was quite rude with the eye rolling but I let it slide, we sat separately and that was that, I went to order my food and mentioned my child has a allergy… again another eye roll and a abrupt “ what allergy” I explained celiac… I don’t think this lovely🙄 girl realised that my partner was sat at the table she decided to huff and puff and again, (seems to be her favourite thing to do)… Eye roll to another colleague about my daughters allergy whilst I presume letting the chefs know. We don’t eat out often as I feel a pain about this as it is, so for her to bring this vibe is actually not ok as it made me feel abit uncomfortable and a nuisance. I have ate here once before, tonight being my second time & I have to say it’s made me not want to return - I will give credit where it’s due & explain that the other staff members I had conversation with were lovely, I don’t know if this certain staff member was having a bad day or what but customer service training needs to be given, especially around making people feel uncomfy due to an allergy that literally can not be helped. I also think that putting tables together for larger parties is something that needs to be looked into, because I had to move 2 chairs for 2 high chairs which caused more of a health and safety issue than putting 2 tables together. I hope this feedback is taken on board and training is given where needed.

Brilliant pub would highly recommend have t rated the food as not eat here as of yet but the food does look good when they was fetching it out.

Very nice pub after a great refurbishment, staff are always very polite and accommodating, we are a large family & each time we’ve been in they always seat us as close to each other as possible in the dining area & nothing is too much trouble for them, The food is always nice too Will definitely be using again

What a mother’s day meal, beautiful service from wonderful staff, Daisy brought our food and provided us a beautiful smile and extra special help with napkins and such, Matthew on the bar gave us brilliant drinks and was very skilful with pouring such a tasty guinness, couldn’t have asked for a better day, the pie and mash was absolutely perfect so my compliments to the chef/s, will be returning in the future.

The food was great 👍 I had the fish and chips with mushy peas with the add-on fish for 3 quid. Bargain but filling!!😋

We were literally there for just 10-12 minutes and they didn't have the food that we wanted to order. So we went somewhere else. Disappointed 😞

Visited with Friend. Manager friendly and helpful. Main meal was nice my sausages were freshly made. Peas over microwaved. Mash ok. If you like sticky toffee pudding then this is not for you . Tasted like ginger cake drizzled with caramel sauce. Accompanied by ice cream - custard 99 pence extra if you didn’t want ice cream Would return but would not buy a dessert.

Nice meal, great menu. Come here often, can't fault the food.

Knowledgeable attentive, friendly staff. Reasonable prices and a spotlessly clean pub and toilets. They have a good pub grub, a good local place to go for a food & drinks. Parking free by submitting car registration as instructed on the tablet at the bar.

Food was warm not hot, food served on the skillets were not “sizzling” steak overcooked ordered blue steak but it was medium rare spoke to the server a male who was not in the least interested in my concerns Pictures are of half a chicken breast (half of tomato was bigger than the chicken) We were a party of 6 and 3 of us had very bad stomach cramps after eating the food Lights flickered all the time we were there

Some staff are very slow and have a can't do attitude Was in here previous week for a family meal my mum had a tab open, I came the week after and asked to start a tab and was told they don't do tabs 🤔 phoned to ask if I could increase a table from 4 to 5 people, was told it was busy and they can't. For the two hours I was there the restaurant was never full and it wasn't busy at all. Again staff had quite a can't do attitude towards just about everything. Food was good though

I've been in the Bods three times since refurbishment. It is much improved. The food is much better. Had a sizzling platter, and it was very tasty.

Will definitely not be returning . Staff lovely ,pub cold , and food well the fries smelt and tasted of fat . The sizzling halloumi dish , their was nothing sizzling about it , raw onion , hardly any pepper and the halloumi was barely cooked

4th time back since it’s had its refurb food the last 3 times was spot on tonight was just shambles from ordering to receiving it got 1 of the orders wrong then had to wait 10 min for gravy to come out for part of another meal on our table then ordered pudding (4) 1 came out still 20 min later waiting on the other 3 2 of them also came out wrong gave up by this point when paying couldn’t use my BlueLightCard!….which I had the App for apparently I hadn’t spent enough to qualify using my BlueLightCard our meals came over £50 and sweets came over £24?…..

The curry feast was a microwave curry from Aldi wouldn't go back.

We were in the pub for Christmas dinner and the food was first class so were the staff and management. Thank you we had a great day.

Everywhere is looking lovely after the recent refurbishment. The bar area was beautifully decorated for Christmas with a stunning tree and the atmosphere was very festive. We had booked a table and were quickly seated. The menu is extensive with food for all tastes. We ordered at the bar, the staff member was lovely and our meals arrived in good time. Food was hot and freshly cooked. We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon here with good, value for money food and drinks and polite, friendly service. The impression is that they really care about how they are looking after their customers and staff were going the extra mile at a busy time, working hard with a smile. Thank you to everybody for your good service.

Henry’s has recently reopened after renovations so this was our first visit for a while and I was pleasantly surprised. The bar area has much more space than before and comfy seating. We went for lunch and our food arrived in a reasonable time. We all had different meals and they were all hot and nicely served. There was a good choice of desserts and we would all recommend the crushed mince pie sundae from the Christmas menu, it was excellent! The young woman behind the bar was friendly and we had a bit of banter as we were ordering and the manager who brought our meals to the table was also friendly and pleasant. The food was reasonably priced and I would happily pay them another visit soon. Definitely would recommend them for a nice lunchtime visit.

Although we have been a few times we hadn’t been for a while, this visit the staff were lovely and the food was gorgeous, we just found the overall experience really nice. Thank you.

Absolutely shocking and we've booked a table a week ahead and the whole pub was hammered without telling me or my friends. So we have to leave. They really need to sort their booking out soon or later

Had a refurb and change of menu. We had the fish and chips which were under cooked on our mind . Left most of it. Did tell the server would apologised " sorry about that" . Nice refurb but sorry won't be visiting again.

Very good atmosphere for a drink after work. beautifully decorated and refreshed. The outside area must be amazing to be when the weather allows it. I've not eaten this time but looking at the menu will definitely go back soon for a taste.

Me and my partner where staying in the premier inn next door for a few nights and on our last night we decided to book a table with these. Which I knew it was a bad mistake as soon as we got seated. There was clearly stains and grease left over on the table from the previous customer which hasn't been cleaned or wiped and we've just been seated down. After deciding to give this a pass we just ordered our foods which taken them 25 minutes to serve which I found was ridiculous considering our order was just 2 burger meals and a side. More over upon waiting for our food we noticed there wasn't any fresh cutlery on our table and the ones that where was used aswell as they where placed in that pot without any napkins.. the waiters also looked so out of place and just chucked the food and drinks on the table everytime they brought it out. It felt very un pleasant and dirty form start to finish.

I ordered the rib platter which cost 18.29 it says on the menu it’s comes with 2 ribs and it only come with one The ribs where chewy the mac and cheese was just pasta with cheese melted on top of it The Dinning room has all little midgey flies flying around I won’t be coming back here

Staff were Fab, Area was brilliant and food was lovely, No improvements needed.

Would have given 0 star if I could. Queued up to order but had to left as they told us they don’t serve outdoor seating ( we just saw them serving next table with full meals as well as desert) and the waiting time is 30 mins (the pub is not full ) Staffs are rude. They do not care about the customer. Stooding there waiting to be served while they were doing talking !!
