We have been three times to Gregg’s for lunch before boarding a flight, it’s very nice but I think a couple of teething problems. Greggs are well known for their sausage rolls amongst many other items, but each time we have been there they are only JUST WARM a let down needs sorting, as well as no salt & pepper as the baguettes are a bit bland, that’s my rant over otherwise they are a much needed eating area for land side and the staff are a credit to the business.

Called in for the first time before going to the match. I had chips and curry and my son in law had salt & pepper chips. Not out of this world but very tasty and reasonable price, Cash only payment on match days

We stayed at Crowne Plaza for a few days. Due to the crowds for the Queen Anne naming ceremony and a very long day, we decided to stay in to grab a light dinner. I had seen Gochujang wings on the both the bar menu and room service so was disappointed they were not available on the restaurant menu. However, the chef kindly offered to do them for me. Service was excellent. In fact, I'd say it could be scaled back a little as we were approached no fewer than 10 times during our meal and for some folks that could be overload. We enjoyed the warm sourdough, the Gochujang wings and a plaza burger. Good portion sizes and we were stuffed! The food is well-cooked. The burger could have been a little more tasty but no complaints in general.

It's ok for a cheap bite and drink, don't expect a 5* restaurant, the key is in the name, cafe! Nice cakes and scones and quick service.

Very attentive manager when we arrived , as a slightly older couple we didn’t no what to do or expect for the show night , she made us v welcome and we enjoyed it all in the main , 1 negative that put a slight dampener on the evening was the live music after the German show , the taller of the 2 singers was asking people at the tables “why we was out tonight “ when it was my wife’s turn , she replied “for a weekend in paradise “, obviously in relation to being in the city (Jamie Webster music “ ), he’s reply was “I’m not playing that sh@t “, which he cut short and moved on. It was unnecessary and made my wife feel silly and annoyed . Other than that the entire evening was Great, although we didn’t stay long after that comment

Claims to be 24 hours, went to go do my quiet weekly shop at 4am and it's closed, (second time in 3 months) listed as open on google and ASDAs website.... I know its for a stock count, but nothing was posted on the shop front.. even a week before I wasn't warned by the staff member who knows I come in that time every week, who i have other complaints about (not giving me bags till after I pay i say how many bags i've used, A. slowing my shopping down, B. making me have to guess how many bags I'm going to use {most of which end up splitting because of the weight}) not to mention how lazy the security can be at times, as I've been threatened to be stabbed by 'the down and outs' when i refuse to give em a quid , reported it and security has said 'not our problem'

Pub and bar hopping around this part of the city on a rather cold November night my twin brother and I decided to drop by The Fall Well Pub,been here before on many occasions, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit to here. A big Wetherspoon pub, interior is superb, a long serving bar dominates the main room, typical Wetherspoon decor and furnishings, photo's of old Liverpool adorning the walls and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling shopping streets around this pub, its just a really good Wetherspoon pub to chill out in. We had a study of their real ale's, in the end we both opted to have Coach House Brewery " tnt cracker barrel " this dark real ale was served in pristine condition, we luckily managed to get a table were we chilled out and warmed up while we sipped our ale's. My ale was really good, dark, malty, full of flavours, a proper winter ale indeed, its hardly surprising to me why this Wetherspoon pub is so popular with real ale's of this quality. We really enjoyed our ale's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Fall Well Pub we had a great pub experience. The Fall Well Pub is easy to locate along St John's Way. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 8am till 11.30pm. Friday & Saturday, 8am till midnight. Sunday, 8am till 11.30pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Stopped for a quick pit stop and asked for a turkey yorkie which at the end of the day is just turkey and a Yorkshire pudding . Was told no as 2 hours before kitchen shut, again it’s just turkey and a yorkie , so asked if I could just have turkey on its own as have a medical condition and can only eat small portions of food and again , was told no-. words fail as this meant a disabled person could not eat at your Toby . I had a quick drink as had to take my tablets and popped to the toilets to find staff sitting eating carvery’s at pub table( funny how they could get turkey but public could not ) toilets were really dirty and didn’t feel hygienic so didn’t use . Shocking Toby your staff should be ashamed both of service to a disabled person and their hygiene
