Stopped for a quick pit stop and asked for a turkey yorkie which at the end of the day is just turkey and a Yorkshire pudding . Was told no as 2 hours before kitchen shut, again it’s just turkey and a yorkie , so asked if I could just have turkey on its own as have a medical condition and can only eat small portions of food and again , was told no-. words fail as this meant a disabled person could not eat at your Toby . I had a quick drink as had to take my tablets and popped to the toilets to find staff sitting eating carvery’s at pub table( funny how they could get turkey but public could not ) toilets were really dirty and didn’t feel hygienic so didn’t use . Shocking Toby your staff should be ashamed both of service to a disabled person and their hygiene

Comida muy fría. Entrega de 2 comidas por aproximadamente £ 40. Raros trozos de carne, no 1 rodaja completa en ninguna de las comidas, pudín Yorkshire exagerado, tocino crudo en cerdos en mantas, 4 papas muy pequeñas en cada uno, demasiado relleno, zanahorias sosas y guisantes. No estaba seguro de si algo era puré de papa o coliflor, debido a la textura, era coliflor. Tuve que recalentar ambas comidas lo que desafía el punto de conseguir una entrega. ¡Nunca, nunca más!

Difícil calificar esto. Fuimos a desayunar. Con descuento NHS, pagamos 15 libras por 2 personas para tener comida y bebidas calientes ilimitadas. La limpieza no era la mejor. Mesas, platos y cubiertos estaban bien, pero el zócalo y las ventanas, etc podría hacer con una buena limpieza. La relación calidad-precio fue clave aquí. 4 estrellas por eso, lo que lo eleva a una calificación general de 3 estrellas bastante generosa. Volvería. De hecho, lo han hecho varias veces. ¡Escribir esto con la más leve de las resacas a las 9 de la mañana de un sábado ha aumentado el apetito de regresar ahora mismo!

Increíble, sabroso, caliente carvery. Brillante personal de cocina / carvery, atento personal del piso y encantador frente al personal de la casa. Muy acogedor.

I don’t usually do reviews but my husband & I came for breakfast yesterday morning & from the service at the bar to getting our breakfast, everything was excellent the food was lovely, but the staff was incredible from the kitchen staff making sure everything was fresh, to the lovely Jackie, I think her name was…nothing was too much trouble even tho she didn’t stop from serving at the bar, to clearing tables & attending to all the people’s individual needs! Absolutely outstanding service…its staff make this place such a lovely place to come too…will be back thanks x

My friends and I had a carvery here yesterday, food was lovely, and the staff were too. Our server was a lady called Jackie, nothing was too much trouble, she was friendly and welcoming. Makes all the difference when you experience excellent customer skills, we'll definitely be coming back!

Called in for breakfast the staff where great food was lovely would recommend. Staff gave us advice on where to park as we where going to a concert which was brilliant 🤩

On sun 6th april. Toilets were disgusting some not flushing as full on toilet paper one full of poo all over and blocked. Toilet paper all over the toilet sinks. Hand driers temperemental. I mentioned to manager who said he would get someone to clean them. Even after 2 more visits they still hadnt been cleaned. Now it wasnt that busy only few customers in and staff standing around talking. I also heard another customer saying she complained to staff about toilets before i did. As i whole the pub itself is kept clean and staff at bar Tony and the cockney lad are pleasant as well as some other staff there go over and beyond. But the ladies toilets need to be checked on a hourly basis like others places you eat and drink. This is not the first time ive seen the ladies like this and the hand driers need replacing so customers arent using toilet paper to dry hands and blocking the loos.

Lovely carvery really enjoyed it were on a few days break in liverpooll so came hear we Hadd a lovely time meal was lovely staff was lovely and welcoming . I would recommend and return if we ever back on Liverpool

On our arrival at the carvery counter, we discovered that the staff were not present. As instructed by the tiny sign, we proceed to ring the bell to signal our presence to the staff in the back. This was met by a bark from the kitchen by an angry man who is irritated irrationally by the ringing of the bell. He was agitated to say the least, that we had pressed it twice. He proceeded to serve our food through gritted teeth and the personality of an angry toddler who has been told there were no more biscuits. We attempted to make light of the situation but this only served to make matters worse. We skulked off, roast in hand and completely berated by the angry chef. Cheer up mate, it might never happen.

Been coming here for many years never wrote a review so I decided to do a review, lovely food lovely atmosphere always good portions of meat/food staff are all lovely very accommodating literally can not fault anything. We’ve been for past 7yrs on Christmas Day amazing day. Nothing ever too much for the staff. We’ve always dealt with Alex, mark, Jackie, thanks to you all ❤️

Chef was very grumpy and made me feel very uncomfortable when ordering food, dont know what was up with him but his attitude was awful

Never again will I visit this hole! Booked breakfast and the attitude of the guy when I walked in, telling me to do track and trace on my phone even though I didn't have the app and had booked online with all my details. He then said 'Ive got your details anyway'. And walked away. Ignorant pig. Then waited 4 minutes for the chef to appear to serve me. Clearly these businesses have done too well recently that they can alienate customers. Track and trace app is ONE option to capture customer details but these gormless people clearly don't know that. They've lost my custom.

I would give this 0 stars if I could absolutely disgusted we ordered two roast dinners on there own website and collected three hours later at the allotted time at 4pm we get it home and no roasties or stuffing on it just a loads of carrots peas and green beans with a slice of different meats which weren’t appetising when we phoned the restaurant we had a lady on the phone who wouldn’t give us her name then she said she wasn’t the manager even though another member of staff said they was passing us on to the manager she was a vile horrible person with an attitude first of all said they had put roast potatoes on and stuffing as the chef remembers doing that but when we said we had a photograph of the food she told us to drive all the way back to the restaurant and collect roast potatoes and stuffing no we shouldn’t have to just get the order right and btw I have screen shot the order page on your own website and in no where does it states you have to tick if you want roast potatoes it’s a roast dinner love of course we would want them on the ROAST anyway I have reported them to there head office seems as though they were unwilling to be helpful and give me there names haha pretending your name is jack stupid woman and you obviously was the manager just not a very inept manager if you can’t handle situations like this then you need to just be the cleaner as you are clearly incapable of being anything else I have included photos I would say to anyone who thinks of getting a takeaway from here DON’T it’s disgusting for the price make one yourself or go to a nice restaurant when you can nearly £20 for mostly just cheap frozen veg!!!!

Fui a este Toby Carvery hoy, cené asado y la comida era muy sosa y tenía un sabor de mala calidad. Se debe tener más consideración para brindar una comida buena y satisfactoria, especialmente si los asadores deben ser maestros en lo que hacen.El servicio fue normal, no tengo mucho que comentar al respecto. El personal pareció servicial y proporcionó un ambiente decente.

Llegamos un poco tarde debido al tráfico de la hora punta, intentamos llamarlos pero no respondieron, por lo que nuestra mesa se canceló, sin embargo, el chico de la puerta nos aseguró que podríamos sentarnos en el bar y pedir allí, así que aún así conseguimos nuestra comida. Mi amigo no se dio cuenta de que podía tener cerdos en mantas y que tenía que pedir un pudín de yourkshire, pero la camarera que trajo nuestra comida fue increíble y se lo ordenó todo.Los baños eran absolutamente viles. Papel higiénico por todo el piso, inodoros bloqueados y falta de desinfectantes en todo el edificio.

Reservé una mesa. Al llegar no había nadie en la recepción, así que tuvimos que esperar 10 minutos para que alguien viniera a vernos. Luego nos sentaron en una mesa sucia sin ropa para 6 personas. Éramos 2. Las mesas eran todas de diferentes alturas y se tambaleaban. Descarté todo esto Y el hecho de que no hubo adherencia al distanciamiento social ya que estábamos contentos de habernos sentado finalmente. Cuando subí a cenar, el caballero cuyo nombre no pude tomar, al pedirle un poco de piel al costado del pavo, dijo ABRUPTAMENTE que no sin razonar. Entonces se dio cuenta de que había sido completamente grosero y fuera de lugar en la forma en que respondió y trató de redimirse hablando con nosotros. La comida era la peor que había visto en mi vida y, por lo tanto, ni siquiera consumía 1/4 de ella. El servicio fue normal. En general, fue horrible y no lo recomendaría.

Tenía el asador un sábado por la tarde. Obviamente con el distanciamiento social no consigues tu propia comida. Dices lo que quieres y se coloca en el plato para ti. Dicen que puedes comer todo lo que quieras, pero es diferente cuando alguien te lo pone. La persona que nos recibió y nos mostró nuestra mesa fue muy agradable. La persona que nos servía la comida estaba muy callada y aunque pedí salsa de menta por todas partes, no quise decir la cantidad que obtuve. Sin embargo, la comida estuvo buena. Fuimos a por un postre y no deberíamos haberlo hecho. Fue absolutamente increíble pero muy abundante. Sentimos que literalmente íbamos a explotar después

¡Estoy absolutamente furioso por el servicio de un gerente cuyo servicio al cliente es tan impactante! Hice un pedido de solo comer y cuando el conductor entregó la comida, los 2 x asador estaban mal con los artículos que solicitamos que no estuvieran en todo, 3 x papas, cebada, verduras o carne y no llegaron comidas para niños ni extras para niños. . El conductor los dejó encima de la barra. Después de ponerse en contacto con solo comer, dijo que no pueden volver a pedir la comida ya que es un error del restaurante que son responsables de reemplazar la comida y que solo comer lo analizará todo con el equipo de investigación, ya que no pudo comunicarse con el restaurante personalmente. La gerente Debbie dijo que no podía hacer nada más que comer para enviar el pedido nuevamente y tirar la comida equivocada que enviaron. Cada vez que llamaba al restaurante, colgaban el teléfono y ella me llamaba y me decía que no había nadie allí cuando respondía, me decía que no podía hacer nada porque yo pagaba, solo comía, no en el restaurante y tiene no hay forma de contactar al conductor Y sarcásticamente dije qué quieres que haga yo mismo, así que no hay nada que pueda hacer al respecto, luego me pregunto por qué he usado solo comer cuando ya nadie lo usa por estas razones y voy al restaurante en su lugar y luego dijo: ¡no conduzcas para venir a buscarlo! Por mucho que traté de explicar, había pagado casi 40 pedidos mucho antes de la hora de la cena y tengo un bebé y un niño pequeño esperando comida, no había nada que ella pudiera hacer para ayudar y tuve que llamar para comer. Luego volvió a llamar diciendo que le iba a preguntar al conductor si podía llevarme la comida de mis hijos que dejó en la barra como un "favor" porque estaba demasiado ocupado y tenía que entregarle al viejo cisne. Luego volvió a llamarme preguntando si quería mi comida o no como respondí de corse tengo niños esperando ella se ofreció a poner mi comida en un taxi para mí pero una joven camarera conducía mi comida en su propio carro que realmente aprecié pero es muy poco profesional! We popped in on a very busy Friday evening on the way to a gig. Lots of families in eating there tea. There was a queue for a table but staff were fab and by the time we had got a drink at bar a table was ready. Very quick service despite it being rammed and call staff were chatty and friendly. Food was cheap and tasty and when our veggie mate joined us he was so pleased with the veggie options available he ordered too.

Came here for a meal with friends, the waiting staff were very rude and it seemed like it was a chore for them to bring us the bill. It made us feel like a burden and the one member of staff was very patronising towards us. Can’t fault the food but the service ruined the meal.

Have always had a really good meal here. Your usual carvery set-up, choice of 4 meats (5 on a Sunday) and then you help yourself to as much veg as you can fit on your plate! I am sure some of the customers must have been to circus school as their balancing skills with food on their plates are a site to behold!(Make sure you download the Toby app as you can get lots of offers - and remember to scan your app loyalty card - go 10 times and get 1 free!)

Went to this Toby for the all you can eat breakfast as a family of six, greeted by a very helpful waitress who offered us a booth or a free standing table whichever suited best. Very reasonably priced £4.89 for adults, £3.89 for kids. Plenty of choice with breakfast items and free refills on tea and coffee, no complaints from any of us. Breakfast finishes at 11am and there was plenty of seating space at the time we arrived (10.15-ish). We stayed till gone 11am and didn't feel as though we were being rushed out, which makes a nice change from some places! Would go again and would recommend.

Took the family for Sunday lunch, we all had the carvery, the girls had the meat free one. Food was tasty and plentiful. It was busy but there were lots of staff so served quickly. Service was excellent, friendly smiley. Good value lunch.

Cheap and decent food, as you would expect - you do not go to a Toby for a gourmet meal. Breakfast was decent, although not having scrambled eggs was disappointing and unusual. Large party was accommodated, and food was good - 9 people with drinks for unlimited breakfast came to less than £70 so cannot argue. Staff were very nice, and looked like we had just missed Santa and his grotto

Dirty plates, cups and cutlery. Horrid food. Not much more to say. Go to The Stag and Rainbow just down the road. Opposite ends of the spectrum. Avoid avoid avoid.

Had lovely meal here after booking at beefeater to find they had no turkey left so went to Toby instead. Friendly staff, quickly seated, looked very Christmassy and lovely food. Very good value.

Had a voucher for 25% off mains so we called in for lunch. We both had the Carvery I went large. The BOSS had pork , I had pork and gammon. For dessert we shared a mini pud , the BOSS had a cappuccino. Food was tasty , service was quick and friendly. The voucher made it good value.

We love the Toby Carvery and have been coming to this one and the one in Aigburth for years. The food this time was lovely especially the beef dripping potatoes, but the carvery was too cold! If you can keep the temperature of the food a little hotter then it would be spot on

Arrived at this restaurant at around 4 o’clock, gave our name in and was told it was a 20-30 minute wait, after a HOUR passes we started to get agitated, especially when people had been waiting less time then us were getting tables first! Food was ok but will not be coming back.

Came here on Tuesday night as we were craving a roast whilst being away.

We went as a family for our Sunday lunch, can’t remember coming here for a long time for this meal. Three of us had the Carvery, the girls had veggie pies, which were enormous. Called in with my friend for breakfast, at till waiting to pay, lady at the bar who I think is manager overheard me telling me telling my friend that I couldn't have tea as I have a really bad allergic reaction to caffeine, asked me what allergies I have, I explained it was only to drinks an food wasn't a problem, she helped me choose my drink and seemed to genuinely care that I would be ok asking if I had any food problems, it was such a nice refreshing change to see staff actually care, food was lovely, had far too much to eat even had a laugh with the chef, defo going back,

Lovely sunday afternoon meal, Yorkshire puddings are the best, three meat was spoilt for choice, it was a Beautiful roast dinner I was stuffed. For dessert I had a honeycomb sundae that really made my day. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Avoid this place. Just been for lunch, the place was empty however couldn’t get served waited forever for everything was eventually served by the snottiest man I’ve ever met who claimed to be the manager. The food was freezing, the air conditioning was on freezing, and the attitude after we complained was apauling. We would never go back.

I won a raffle for four carvery meals, for a cancer fund raiser. As we live in Widnes we had not visited here before.

Had a tasty carvery here with friends, you can help yourself and have as much or as little as you like. They do have a good choice of vegetarian meals but I opted just for the meat free carvery which was delicious. I chose baileys profiteroles as my dessert but unfortunately they had run out so I had ice cream instead which was really nice.

Decided to visit here for a Father’s Day breakfast and, as you would expect, it was extremely busy! However after waiting for 15 minutes to pay, our money was taken and, therefore, you would assume that there would be enough food available. My fiancé waited 15 minutes for sausages and bacon to come out while I sat with our son. Then the exact same happened to me, so we didn’t even eat breakfast together! When somebody asked one of the chefs if there was anymore bacon coming, he laughed and said, ‘I have no idea...I’ll go and check!’. I didn’t see him again during the 10 minutes I waited. I eventually gave up and resorted to having cold hash browns and fried egg for breakfast. (There were no beans!) Obviously, I complained to the manager and was quickly told that we could see the woman behind the bar for a refund. But it was what happened after that which caused the problem! We were then met with confrontational behaviour from both the manager and woman providing the refund. Comments, such as, ‘What was that?’ (as we walked away from the manager towards the till)

Visited today, understandably very busy as it was Fathers day, waited 15 minutes to pay, only one women on the till, finally paid for 3 breakfast and started to wait a further 15 minutes in the queue for food only to then be told the sausages and bacon would be a further 15 minutes. That would have been a total of 45 minutes. I find it astonishing that they can take your money and not communicate to the kitchen staff to continue cooking breakfast food. Either say sorry we are full on arrival or keep the food cooking continously. Don't expect your paying clientele to wait 45 minutes. I decided to leave and then my husband had to argue with the woman behind the till before she would refund the price of 3 breakfasts. Dreadful service and I would not visit this place again.

Dined here on the day of the Liverpool FC open top bus tour. Obviously it was mad busy considering it is on the route. I had booked on the day and it was bedlam when we arrived. However, the staff had everything under control. They checked the booking and had us seated at our table within about 5 minutes of our booked time.

Went for dinner at 12 today (Sunday) £30 for two dinners and a coke each, mashed potato was SMASH, rubbish choice of veg, meat was all fatty, roast potato well ... no words for them. A mean the gravy was nice but that was it. This toby is Guna give the chain a bad name, service was rubbish had to sit in the bar, no cutlery ! Happy Sunday!

Ni siquiera nos preguntaron qué comida queríamos, si queríamos carnes o si queríamos y entrantes. . . Como habíamos estado en otros Toby Carvery's, asumimos que debíamos subir para conseguir nuestra comida cuando queríamos lo que hicimos. Luego fuimos a la terraza para pedir nuestra comida para encontrar que no había nadie sirviendo. . . Luego, un miembro del personal de cocina sacó un recibo y comenzó a entregar un pedido en línea en tinas de plástico, aunque habíamos estado esperando unos 10 minutos con otras personas detrás de nosotros. El servidor finalmente salió unos 5 minutos más tarde, sin disculpas, ¡incluso parecía no querer estar allí ni servirnos en absoluto! ! En el lado positivo, la comida era muy buena. No hace falta decir que también esperamos a que nos preguntaran si queríamos nuestra factura al final de nuestra comida. finalmente logramos atrapar a una chica joven para pedir nuestra cuenta que dijo: está bien, obtendré la marca para obtenerla ahora y volví a limpiar una mesa en otra zona del pub. Terminamos pidiéndolo nosotros mismos ya que el mensaje no fue transmitido.

Teniendo en cuenta que subes y te sirves tú mismo. Usted pensaría que no es difícil tomar una orden de bebidas y despejar una mesa. . . . Ninguna camarera se nos acercó. Teníamos que preguntar cada vez y teníamos un aspecto desagradable. No importa si la chica de las cejas se pone mala y habla por encima de nuestra mesa con el resto del personal, mientras que la mesa está cubierta con una placa APILADA. . . Ninguna norma y gestión no tenía control. Por suerte eres asado era decente. . .

En primer lugar, recomendaría no solo caminar un domingo, ¡reserve si es posible! Esperamos 45 minutos por una mesa, luego 20 minutos en la cola para nuestra comida. El único lado bueno de esto fue que definitivamente obtuvimos el valor de nuestro dinero de los refrescos rellenables. En general, creo que la comida está bien, no mucho sabor a las papas, podría hacer con más opciones de verduras, por ejemplo. Zanahoria y nabo, guisantes blandos etc.

Visited on Sunday 10th and was advised by the person on the desk there was a 45 min wait. We headed to the bar - wow, looked like the empty glasses and plates hadn’t been collected all day.

Went here last Saturday for dinner, first impression: love the place! Very homey, comfy, and smells amazing!:) this place is one of my boyf’s fav for Christmas eve dinner with his fam, and this was my first visit. We both chose Gammon & Turkey for the meat, and you can eat anything on the veg section. I picked cauliflower cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes, roasted potato, green beans, and a lot of gravy. It was good! such a nice comfort food during the winter season, but the gravy wasn’t so tasty, so I had to put pepper and salt in it:)

As we were stating next door at the Travelodge for one night, we had dinner and breakfast here.

Been today 10/02/19 for Sunday dinner, for the first and last time ever.

I can not speak highly enough this great place.

was told we would have to wait half an hour but it wasn't that long after all and the food was lovely as I had the large plate mmmmm my friends had the normal size Then I had the large toffee cake again it was boss thankyou so much for a lovely meal and the staff were on the spot

We booked a table for 8 at the toby carvery for a pre Christmas meal. We were seated at our table promptly and were well looked after by our waiting staff. We ate off the Christmas menu which included the full carvery meal. All of the food was very good and was enjoyed by all. The only downside was that our deposit was not taken off the bill at first but was quickly rectified when pointed out to the staff.

Party of8 4 adults 4 kids all 4 years. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely as always we all had the carvery and deserts ice cream for the kids . Would definitely revisit here.

This place is a gem for brunch. Everything is fresh and I have never eaten breakfast Yorkshire puds or had breakfast gravy, were has this been in all of my life. The staff are lovely but the food sells itself.

Received a 40% off voucher on Sunday by email saying ‘don’t forget to use’. Checked the T&C;’s and it didn’t state could not be used on a Sunday so booked a table for the family as could stretch to meal out in jan if nearly half price. Arrived there to be told there was a mistake and you can’t use the voucher, disappointment no1. As it was now late and didn’t have dinner to have at home we stayed as hungry. Asked the server if Lamb was on as we all wanted this which he confirmed there was. Waited in a huge queue for 20mins to then be told there was no Lamb, it would be another 20mins. Disappointment no2-Couldn’t wait any longer so got beef which was half fat then there were no roasties! Disappointment no3-Another 5min wait with another couple who had been in same situation as us, came with voucher and wanted lamb. So eventually sat down after virtually half hour with my cold meat and veg and hot roasties. Then got bill where they had charged the kids for adult carvery as the carvery server had given them adult plates but hadn’t asked if they were having child carvery and there was only one stack of plates in front of him. Disappointment no4-So paid over £50 for four rubbish dinners with four soft drinks, server didn’t offer to change to child carvery it’s not as if my kids piled there plates, was not worth it after such a long wait too. emailed Toby customer services on Sunday night and still no reply. Need to make sure all meat and veg are available, need to control queues better at carvery, servers so slow, honour mistakes and get servers to check what meal kids are having like others do where you get a ticket to give in. Will not be going back or recommending. Will stick to the Greenhills.

Went for lunch 12.30 pm. Carvery was tasteless. I had turkey which was dry. And lamb which was way overcooked and dry. Only nice thing was the roast potatoes.

My husband and I were staying at the Travelodge next door.We arrived on the 27th of December and we popped next door to the Carvery for a meal, as I am disabled and didn't want to travel far after our journey.We were told by a Waitress with an attitude that if they served us they would not have enough food for people who had reserved a table.I explained we were staying next door and that I was disabled but she didn't want to know.She said normally we would be allowed in but they had only allocated just enough food.I had 2 walk fifteen minutes to the Wetherspoons.When we came back the pub was shut.Even though it was handy having the Carvery next to the hotel we didn't use it again.

Been today with my grandchildren fir breakfast with Santa. Very well organised and staff could not do enough. Young lady on reception as we booked in helped me to my table with drinks before the gang arrived and the beautiful elf was amazing . Santa if course was fabulous and I can honestly say what a great experience. Thank you would highly recommend. Staff were amazing just like our breakfast.

went here for breakfast and was horrified to find pink and almost raw sausages on the hot plate, i asked the chef if there was any more that were cooked a bit more. he took some more out that were cooked but tipped them on top of the raw ones.

Been a regular customer for some years how ever on my last visit we was left waiting for almost an hour after being told we would wait around 30minutes .

I’ve eaten here since the refurb 2018 mostly the same hard working polite happy staff apart from the chefs who serve the meat! Some one needs to tell them they are projecting the image of the company and at least try and smile once in a while even if your having a bad day! They are undoing all the hard work the waiting on staff do! I have never seen more Miserable staff as the chefs. As for the food it’s pot luck on what day you go and what time you go? I strongly advise to book your table as you could wait up to an hour if you don’t!!!!! I think it’s ridicules the amount of people that complain about the food here! It’s a Carvery serving sub standard heated up food cooked by people who probably don’t want to be there! What do you expect Michelin star quality food at a Toby pub? It’s a decent place to eat and not many around the area are better.

Tried to book a table for next month. There were some issues staff did not call back when promised to confirm the booking. I phoned again and this time I spoke to Jo. Literally within 5 minutes our reservation was confirmed by email and by phone by Jo. Thank you for all your help Jo I really appreciate it and this is why we keep coming back.

Popped in for drinks as stayed next door at the Travelodge. Lovely pub, staff and atmosphere, menu offered mainly carvery and some other nice choices. Not being great carvery fans, decided to give it a whirl due to the nice aroma, meat was lovely, great choice of veg, some of which could have done with stirring and topping up as looked a little dry. Overall lovely. Popped in for breakfast the following morning which seemed very popular even though midweek. Open from 8am and cheaper than the boxed breakfast offered by the hotel next door. Great breakfast choice and option of breakfast buttie.

Awfull..carvery chef couldn't have been less interested, veg over cooked and heated for god knows how long. carvery area was filthy with debris from help yourself service . I've never seen paso stuffing like it ..barely moistened with boiling water! Who knows what was in the gravy ..or how long it had been there. plenty of staff ...nice ladies but really not on it with the cleanliness of the tables or bits on the floor.

1st November afternoon came in not to busy went to carvery all veg looked old greenbeans been there god nows how long peas dried out cauliflower cheese freezing.... so ordered dessert treakle sponge and custard came as white steamed sponge with a sugar syrup poured over the top what aload off cheap rubbish will never go back put receipt up as proof of being there.

First visit, food was very tasty and very fresh and hot. The carvery was plentiful and replenished often and great size portions.. the staff and cheffs are very friendly and take pride in their role. I would definitely recommend. Real home made taste....see you again soon..

Went for Breakfast after a night at a Travelodge a few miles away. I will return if ever I'm in the area again for Breakfast. The staff, food, and place were all acceptable. The price is regulated by the chain so it's a blanket price which was more than acceptable for the food. Eat as much as you want and apart from a short wait for bacon everything was spot on.

I am absolutely disgusted with the meat I have just been given on my plate. I have literally just payed 10 pound for a plate of vegetables. #vom #uwillneverseemeagain

The meal was decent price, decent food. You know what you're getting from the Toby.

Visited the Toby Carvery on Queens Drive yesterday. Ordered the carvery, decided to go for beef. What a poor choice. More fat than beef!!

Still offering the same great food at a great price. Friendly service. Cannot comment on the decor inside the restaruant as we opted for the take out service which is very convinient.
