The best restaurants serving British food in North West

Lovely staff and food, but I think the food needs to be served not on paper and maybe not the metal 'plates'; the paper just went soggy and it went cold pretty quickly

Great pub with excellent beer. Just a shame I'm not in that neck of the woods very often.

Came into the wacky warehouse last week I did leave a review on google but it’s not showing up, the food was delicious, the play area was full of kids enjoying themselves, the lady staff member Katie I think she was called was incredible couldn’t do enough for everyone there was a bit of an incident with a couple of children but she handled it perfectly even when the parents were getting irate with her she stayed very professional and calm. She was very smiley, brilliant with the children and her customer service was impeccable! She was just a delight to meet. We can’t wait for our next visit!

The bar staff was lovely! Got a recommendation to come here and I absolutely love it! Will be coming again! Shout out to Jess she went the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction!!!

Beautiful setting, good service, fair pricing but ultimately a bang average breakfast of rock hard bacon, luke warm beans, miniscule poached egg & barely toasted toast. Sorry, not impressed.

We stayed at the premier inn next door so booked in for breakfast and Dinner as we’ve used this place before, breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice, evening menu has plenty of choice. My only negative this time is we waited a long time for our meal after not being told about a wait on food, the gentleman in charge was very good and apologetic and gave us a free drink. WOULD I GO BACK……YES

Visited on Saturday lunch, we had Haddock pieces, Jalapeño Burger and Steak Bagette, all the meals were ok for the price. Nice and friendly staff, family run enterprise. They have only been open a few weeks so they’re still settling in. Some of the menu options were limited that being said they’re probably not run off there feet yet so will have limited supplies of some items. The bench seats were comfortable but the metal stand chairs within cushions a tad hard on the derrière. Overall it was a nice friendly lunch, with an excellent beer choice.

Lovely friendly staff and excellent food . Restaurant nice and clean and homely . We especially like the smothered platters great value for money.

Great bar, fantastic atmosphere, loved the the decor and feel of the place. Friday night drag show was a hoot. I didn't eat any food, but I had multiple drinks, and they were pricey. But the bar staff was aplenty and super responsive. Multiple levels, rooms and nooks make it for fun and cozy place. You can be partying in a crowd, or hidden away at some small table on the back for more intimate meet with friends or a date.

We have been a couple of times now for a group family booking. Both times the food was amazing and staff were friendly and efficient. The prices are cheap and affordable without sacrificing on quality. Thank you all 😁

Me and my wife are staying at the travelodge crewe and we have visited the duke of Gloucester On amny occasions we both think that the food is excellent value for money We was served by Adele Excellent member of staff very welcoming and made our vist very enjoyable.
