Excellent food and service Susan and Suzanne provided top notch service even in the face of some quite angry and abusive customers tonight. They handled it profitably and to the letter of green king / pubs alcohol rules. They remains professional to the end of our stays We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and the food was fantastic

The Flying Horse has gone downhill since we were last there. No table service. Everything has to be ordered via their app, even drinks. You have to collect your own cutlery, sauces, even napkins. The place was quiet but service was poor. The food wasn’t great. The portions were small. I could have made a better curry myself ! We won’t be going there again. There are far superior establishments elsewhere !

Ordered chicken and when it came I cut it open and there was blood inside and it had a smell to it I asked staff to take it back I had felt sick after that I asked for the manager but he didn’t care he never spoke to me after that no I am sorry no refund nothing

Firstly let me say the staff here are superb, very welcoming, polite and well trained. I generally get the mini mixed grill and it’s fine but just a heads up. It usually comes with two sausages but now comes with only one, the price remaining the same! Guys, give me my usual meal and charge a little more I’m happy to pay it. Also since the change the staff no longer come by to see if everything is ok, hmm, I wonder why.

The food quality is not good. This visit the chicken was bone dry and inedible. The medium rare steak was beyond well done, bone dry and was inedible. The fish & chips was cold. The kofta was bland and covered in a huge amount of mayo. Previous visit the pie was piping hot on outside, partly frozen in middle (microwaved). Drinks came nearly an hour after ordering, even after repeatedly asking staff. Staff don't seem interested when we mention the issues. There are food issues every time we visit. Meanwhile a few miles away at The Rectory, another hungry horse, they get the food spot on every time. Seems like a training issue at the flying horse. They just seem like they don't care about their food standards, andt's getting worse. Honestly, years of our custom maybe coming to an end.

Amazing service from the bartender, Louis, he was incredibly helpful and friendly. Very polite, very helpful would definitely come again.

Went here for lunch and a drink and a game of darts with my Dad. Got Great table service from Alia and Great bar service from Abi. Abii served us some Great pints of Guinness complete with shamrocks on top 😀 Great service with a smile. Also Great service from Junior.

Great friendly staff who are welcoming as soon as u arrive untill the minute u leave. Abi last served me and was excellent and friendly. Will definitely come again

Went for food however it was poor. Microwave clearly was on strike as food was cold. Rats outside clearly didn't rate this place either. Plates must have been warmed up using solar power on a cloudy day. All in all a wasted trip to a below standard establishment.

Excellent service from Abi. Food was good, we had chicken salad and jacket potato, it was lovely! Queue was quite long but customers were served quickly and efficiently.Food arrived quickly.

Came to the flying horse, to watch Cheltenham with friends, Jacob was fantastic, very efficient with our orders via table service, proper pub to take your family, outdoor seating with play area. Able to see the planes landing or taking off from the airport. Fantastic day thanks Jacob for a warm welcome and service.

Forget about the microwaved food as I wasn't expecting Michelin stared quality. However it seems looking at the other reviews I wasn't the only person caught out by the lack of adequate signage and staff prompts to sign in my vehicle. I received a parking fine from a private company for £100.00 soon after dining at this restaurant. I surmise this inadequacy is on purpose to impose these "stealth fines"? At NO time during my time eating did any staff member ask if I had signed in. Please members of the public DO NOT get caught out by this strategy.

Fabulous service by Daniel and Abi and the food was delicious. Thank you for a great visit. We look forward to future visits for lunch and dinner.

All the staff were fantastic Abi on the bar was amazing she was helpful and the ginger manager not sure of his name was really friendly and nice! thank you for the hospitality and would recommend to absolutely anyone for a good chilled time!

Very disappointing visit. The bar area was full of small children running around (some were crawling around), screaming, shouting all displaying unacceptable behaviour. It was 9pm so we felt this was unacceptable. Non of the staff asked them to keep the noise down.
