Absolute garbage, I ordered the mixed grill medium/well done steak and when it finally arrived had more blood than a transfusion....disgusting asked them to take it back and was took an age to re-issue my meal, very small portions of chips fir an adult(ok for a toddler) was not worth the money and would certainly not be returning, a member of the group ordered fish well done and when it was cut open was full of black skin terrible when the fillet should be cleaned off prior to cooking. Overall the best part of the meal was the minimal portion of pie with custard. Very disappointed

We had my daughters 5th birthday party here last week. Jenny and summer were amazing, I really didn't have to do anything, the lady's did it all! would highly recommend having a Childs party here. Reasonable prices, great staff, great food.

We love this place, they always make us feel like home, it doesn’t matter if we come for breakfast, lunch or dinner, we will always be treat as we are important. All the staff is amazing, but my kids have special devotion for Ian and always looking forward to see him when we are coming in.

We have just had a fantastic visit to The Stablegate, for breakfast 9 adults and 4 children celebrating two big birthdays. Leah and Leah the General Manager organised everything for us and we arrived to find birthday balloons on the tables. As always the food was outstanding. Leah the GM is always friendly when we go in and it shows in all the staff. A special mention to Lisa who took time and had patience with our autistic child, she made his day when letting her help him with the hoovering.

Continues to be exceptional with 5* service and amazing staff. Leah is always friendly, helpful and goes out of her way to make us feel special xx

Amazing food & fab service as always. We come here every week because it’s so quick, cheap and great for the kids with the big play area. Leah is always so pleasant to us too we love her.

Terrible meal I had the mixed grill steak was tough gammon full of fat sausages tiny really not value for money My wife had cheese and onion no filling at all, no onion no cheese just lumps if potato when complained they said it was vegan when we said it had no taste or flavour was just told it’s because it’s vegan, Appalling food would definitely advise to avoid

Amazing service as always here. Our waitress Jenny was very attentive and went the extra mile to ensure we had a simple stress free visit. Food was brilliant. Will be returning.

We have eaten here on numerous occasions both lunchtime and in the evening, you're always welcomed by Leah, Stuart and the team, nothing is too much trouble. The food and atmosphere are great we would definitely recommend a visit.
