Food service isn’t great at all. Don’t bring you a knife & fork out with your meal. If you order separately on the same table whoever orders first will have eaten their food before anyone else’s order comes out. Unfortunately I’m not impressed & it’s all frozen food

Nice friendly pub and Mike behind bar always happy and polite

We attended a SKA music night here & although the music was fantastic the night was soiled by having to drink out of plastic containers which held less than the glasses and were charged full price plus the beer goes flat quickly in these and so wasn't ideal.

Really enjoyed this experience. Food was fab especially the chips, and well proportioned. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely return

A man walked up to the bar and the barmaid clearly saw him but walked off. The man stood at the bar for three more minutes. The landord was also sat at the bar the entire time. The man stood at the bar some more. The landlord sat at the bar some more. This went on for some time. The man then grew impatient and checked that the bar was still open with a man who had been sat in everyone's way at the bar all night and he confirmed that they were. We'll call him Wayne Kerr. Wayne shouted the landlord over. The man stayed stood at the bar. The barmaid came back to the bar and spoke to the landlord. The barmaid then walked off again. The landlord eventually went behind the bar and the man thought; "ah, at last, someone's going to serve me" he made eye contact with the landlord and was about to place an order at the bar. But, unexpectedly, the landlord started pulling a pint for Wayne Kerr and expected the man to wait a while longer. The man thought to himself for a nano-second He then turning round, picked up his coat and left. The man will NEVER return to this bar.

Food was excellent great service friendly staff and friendly landlord well recommended for food or just a few drinks we definitely be calling again

It’s good the boundary, they have a nice selection of beers (no real ale unfortunately 😭) I make a point of visiting every few months, it’s near Guide Bridge Train Station so makes for a good post pint drink after Manchester.

Had a great night in the Boundary. The pub has a few different sections, music paraphernalia as you walk in, then Harry Potter, then the games room. Went to see the live music, Burke'n'Hoff, great show, had the place bouncing but not too loud. Dog friendly (we didn't take a dog). Service was very good, never waited more than a couple of minutes. Didn't have food so can't comment on that.

A good selection of draught beers, pleasant helpful staff and reasonably priced wine by the bottle, we'll be back there soon 👍

I was at the boundary for my friends wake. If I had to go to another wake or someone's party in general I think this would be a great place to have it.

There’s no way I can stop people trying to ruin my reputation and business, the last review on here is pure slander , by a so called Sarah Louise , we are a family run pub ,we have amazing staff and clientele,Stacked burgers who work along side us are a very reputable business, please go on their Facebook page , their reviews are amazing , everything they cook is fresh , no frozen products what so ever if the burgers were that bad the so called customer would have brought them back no evidence of that by cctv or staff members whatsoever, as for customers talking openly about drugs in the toilet ,I find that hard to believe, we are a zero tolerance drugs free pub, it’s a life ban if you get caught , this post has sickened me all the staff ,and customers to accuse me off talking inappropriate to young girls ,is disgusting ,how low can this person go to try to ruin me and my business ,obviously someone who hates me for some reason or someone from one of the other businesses from around here , who thinks by doing this customers will go elsewhere, nice try over 30 customers put a complaint into trip adviser last night alone ,please feel free to speak to any staff or customers about the pub or me , I’ve been to the police today and they are now dealing with the matter

Terrible experience, beef burgers were undercooked & smelt like rancid meat. Dirty glasses, open drug talking in the toilets by customes & owner (paul) very rude & inappropriate towards young girls. DO NOT take your children to this place!

Brilliant pub for live music, good range of drink, great friendly staff. They have their own menu Tuesday to Sunday. Thursday to Sunday smashed burgers available, made fresh by a separate company. Well worth a visit

Large pub that serves food. It has an outdoor terrace which connects with the canal behind the pub a very nice place to sit and have a drink, and they do entertainment at the weekends

Had the pleasure of being here on Friday 11tgh August after attending a funeral.. Wonderful buffet supplied and very courteous staff..

Such a great pub! The girls behind the bar are always laughing, smiling and joking - all very approachable. We was made to feel very welcome by all when we went to the firework display - which was an amazing night and such value! Best pub in audenshaw hands down! My son loved it here and it has since become our new local! Great beer, great staff and a great night!

Stopped here with a friend for cake and coffee, the coffee is instant coffee, the cheese platter was terrible, it had no butter with it, the biscuits were soft and the chocolate fudge cake was inedible. My friend and I told the staff about the complaint but he was not interested. If you want to pay for instant coffee and stale cake stop here, if not choose a different venue.

Great place, alittle wacky but somehow pulls it off. Everyone I really nice and there's a great selection of drink.

We had our works Christmas Party at the Boundary this year and it was outstanding. The meals were perfect, all 18 of them, the service was brilliant, the staff were Friendly,efficient and know their jobs. I cannot recommend the venue enough. OUTSTANDING.

We enjoyed some lovely food the other day, I had the lamb shank and my wife had the chicken skewers. Both came and were hot and very tasty. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, we will definitely be returning 👍🏼

Well what can I say??? I went to the boundary a few months ago for my birthday and have nothing but positives to write about Sam and the team, from start to finish they were amazing so polite, so friendly, so warm nothing was too much trouble, it was still outdoor service and we were provided with blankets and sat under a lovely shelter to make sure we were warm, out door space is amazing and so dog friendly! I couldn't see how you could give less than a 5 star even got a complementary jumper!! 😉😊

We have visited the boundary quite a few times over the last few months. Its our new favourite place to eat at with our children. The atmosphere is friendly and very welcoming. The staff and owners can't do enough to make sure you are happy and looked after. After seeing some customers in there with their dogs we just had to take our pooch in Arlo. He got a treat, bowl of water and lots of fuss. It was so nice to not leave him at home as he is very much part of our family. Big thumbs up from the Buckley's.

Great local pub. Really good atmosphere and service has always been spot on. Can’t wait to go again and try all the various gins. Has a fab function room upstairs, great for celebrating any occasion. It’s a little gem.

The Boundary is a wonderful pub, Sam and Paul have worked hard to make it there own since taking over. The pub is dog friendly and my Sadie is always made to feel super welcome. The pub is really modern now, there is a great selection of drinks and my hubby loves the pizza. The staff are friendly as well, always a brilliant atmosphere!

I have been to the boundary on a number of occasions and the staff and the owners made us feel very welcome. On one occasion I took my mum for afternoon tea for her birthday and the food was delicious and well worth the price. The boundary is a dog friendly pub and we took out dog with us and they provide bowls of water and poo bags if needed. They also have a beautiful beer garden with a VIP area and also has a play area for children. The owners and staff are happy to help with any queries if you have any.

First time in, and will certainly be back, very reasonable, nice atmosphere & lovely staff.

Awful service from start to finish, food is served until 6pm, arrived at 5.30 and ended up leaving and without eating. Won't be going back. I used to take my daughter in most Sundays before covid and you had to wait to be seated. So we stood at the entrance to the conservatory like we used to. A staff member walked past us twice without even saying hi. So I had to stop her to ask do we just pick a table and order at the bar. To which I was told yes. The rest of my family sat down and I went to the bar. Waiting whilst the bar staff chatted to another customer. Eventually I was asked what we wanted to drink. Ordered and asked for menus to be told we will check if we are still serving. By now it's 5.40 no where near 6?? Never got given menus and gave up waiting to be told if they were serving. Went to tell the family we are leaving after having the drinks we wouldn't have even ordered if they had a clue about service. Basically ignored by 3 members of staff the whole time we were, treated like outsiders not the regular click, despite being a regular and living in Audenshaw for 20 years. Joke of an operation, wasn't even busy.

Excellent choice of beers great atmosphere staff very polite and welcoming, all areas very clean and comfortable nice outdoor area with views of the canal and local wildlife, will try their food on my next visit menu looks very appealing. Like your real ales give it a try.

We had our wedding reception here last weekend and Sam and Paul went above and beyond to make our evening amazing. Sam was so lovely throughout the planning of the day and the room decoration was perfect. Buffet food was lovely and the staff were super helpful. Would highly recommend for any event.

Met my friends here for a catch up, and to have tea, completely dissatisfied with the meal, cheap thin budget fried fish, handful of cheap fries and mushy peas from a tin! …..and nowhere near enough on the plate! Wouldn’t have the cheek to serve that! Beer battered fish my ar… 😡

This a very nice pub with a nice atmosphere the staff are friendly and quick to serve you. I have. Not tried the food myself but been told its good. So I will be trying it soon and will up date my review. This place also has a small car park for those who want drive there. It's closet to the bus stops and the train station and close to the motorways so it's got good access if your travelling there.

Was a nice pub back in the day 2001 and for a few years after that used to have a amazing Jamaican drummer playing fifty cent on the steel drums was awesome had a little garden for kids to play in at bottom was quite good

2nd time eating here and it was absolutely delicious, we had the barrel & stone pizzas, we took advantage of EOHO SCHEME, 12” pizza chips onion rings and dip with a soft drink £7.50 bargain it was really tasty

Booked an outside table in order to have a meal with my neice, her husband and her three children, one of whom has coeliacs disease (allergic to gluten). We made sure they would be able to cater for him - they assured us that they did baked potatoes with a range of gluten free fillings, and that there would be no problem for us to have two tables outside for a Covid safe reunion. We booked for 6.00pm - quite early but it suited us particularly because of the children. We arrived in plenty of time (about 10 minutes early). Although there was hand sanitiser available, there was no-one to greet us, so no-one to make sure we sanitised our hands. At the bar, despite a sign saying 'please do not lean on the bar' several people were at the bar wtih hands on the surface. We gave contact details for Track and Trace purposes, and found two tables outside to sit at (we had been told that we would be instructed where to sit, but this did not happen). We texted our order for food and drinks and were told to go to the bar to pay, which my husband did. While he was collecting the drinks, he was told that they actually had no food other than pizza and burgers, and nothing that was gluten free!!!! And also, the kitchen would be closing early at 6.30!! Obviously this was no use at all to us, so we asked if we could get some takeaway food from a local takeaway which could provide gluten free food for the coeliac member of our group to eat, and still eat at the pub, and purchase drinks from them, as they had no appropriate food to offer. They refused, on the grounds that "we sell pizzas and stuff"!!! In the end we got a takeaway and ate it in a local park. We were disgusted with our experience and would never consider going there again. On a separate note, it was definitely not Covid-safe.

Great pub, lovely atmosphere, good prices for drinks and a good choice of bar snacks. Had an afternoon tea which was great, very fresh and a good variety of sandwiches. The beer garden is great with a little play area.
