Amazing service friendly atmosphere I especially enjoyed the chicken wings with various sauces I asked for them to be crispy and they were cooked to perfection.

Cath and her team were awesome very welcoming great service and would definately reccomend a visit to the farmers

Catch is a great land lady, she’s made it a great friendly pub. I spend a few days a week at this establishment and the improvement at this pub is great. The bar staff are fantastic.

This is a fantastic pub with friendly staff and a great atmosphere, the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anybody.

The ladylady and her team are extremely welcoming, nothing is to much trouble. Wether we turn up with 8 people or 20, the team serve with a smile and the food is great. Xx I would defo recommend. After training or games we always try to go back here.

Fantastic place, great selection of drinks lovely staff, the little ginger lad at the bar is a right legend always up for a laugh and a handsome chap at that, would definitely recommend the food also! The Mac and cheese is to die for :)

It is fantastic the staff and management go out of there way to make you feel welcome would recommend to visit it it’s round corner from the Britannia airport hotel

Catherine and the team at the farmers are brilliant the atmosphere in there is always welcoming. The chefs always make sure the food is perfect and if you have a special request they always try to accommodate your needs

As a family we went in for first time in years. Wow. We had a great night. The landlady Catherine made us welcome. She interacts fantastically with the patrons. Her staff are great. Takes forever to get food always get orders wrong we left hungry because it took to long

Waited forty minutes for our food even though the place was empty when it came my all day breakfast was cold the fried eggs white was still runny the bacon was rock hard along with the toast

Booked for 3 people for 5pm, arrived on time, on entering we all found the pub very chaotic, dim interia, dirty, no evidence of food, when we told staff we had a booking we were told it hadn't been been booked, so we told him to forget it,I wouldn't want to eat in a dirty establishment, God knows what the kitchens like,so can't give a star rating , but deffo woul not recommend this pub/ restaurant.

If you just want to have drinks and watch some sports on tv and meaningful conversation then this is the place for you. Very spacious in the back garden with an outdoor tv and a little football sets for the kids. The landlady Cath and her staff are the most welcoming team ever And made some great improvements and They have made me feel comfortable on my first time and it’s now my favourite pub!! Would highly recommend this place <3

It was very quiet when we went in.. the staff were polite but didn't respond when we tried to make conversations, the food was very nice and reasonably priced.

We needed a relaxed place to drink and eat with family and friends after signing our wedding papers for our wedding abroad. I can honestly say that The Farmers Arms were amazing! All our family and friends have said what a wonderful day it was, having something for everyone! The music played on the speakers was great and we loved that we could select some of our own on the jukebox. A huge beer garden that the children loved and such lovely staff members!! The food was great and both beers and food cheap 👏 They topped it off by putting the huge screen on outdoors for some of us to watch the football. Thank you so much for making it so special 😊

i have been to the farmers arms many of times through out the past few years and it has always been a nice experience no matter what time i go. they show lots of football games and the staff are brilliant! i have ate from here many of times and the food has always been great everytime

After seeing the Carvery at Greene King Handforth we decided to try the Farmers Arms at Northenden......The menu looked good althought when we arrived there were not a lot of people eating......and i thought the prices were very reasonable.I had had a nice glass of wine at Handforth it was an Australian Shiraz.So we were ordering our food and drink and I asked for a Glass of Red Australian Shiraz...the young man serving us said only two wines available Italian and Rioja....I dont drink either...so sadley we had to leave.....Come on Greene King .......the young man said they couldnt get hold? of the Australia Shiraz!!!...Not Good.....

Warm and welcoming with a great variety of well kept beers. Staff are wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Food is top notch. I recommend both the steak and fish.

This is a dead place. It has no atmosphere whatsoever. I was looking for a place for a wake, but this place has less life than a funeral. It's a huge no from me. Find a place livelier than this cemetery. The food is horrific, no healthy choices. I walked a mile to get there and I would never eat there again. If this is what Greene King does, don't support Greene King. Another thing. Greene King staff are so aggressive, like they know their product is garbage but you have to accept it.

I booked a up at table for 9 people they said that they only had enough food for certain items, which was fine but, we waited over 1hr 30 minutes after some of our party member had their meal by the time we had received our food some of it was Luke worm, the staff had for got that we had ordered food so bad service a party of people should eat together and not separately and especially 1hr 30 mins after they have they have received their food disgraceful, we also had a problem downloading the greenking app for allergies, the app kept kicking me out so was up able to see what add the egg allergy when booking up find out if they can cater for your party size

Issues with some items missing from the menu, food was good for pub food. Reasonably priced drinks and food. The atmosphere was fun and made to feel comfortable by the locals.

The roast turkey dinner was excellent value and would have had 5 stars if it was hotter. Atmosphere and service was very good. Will call in again if in the area.

Brilliant pub where the local punters give a great welcome to those new to the establishment. Though I did not eat on this occasion the food looked fabulous coming out of the kitchen The drink selection is wide, professional served with great customer service from a team that seemed to be enjoying working here and the drinks were good value. We had the sunday lunch roast beef plenty of meat loads of roasties and vegetables it was delicious would recommend it to anyone the service was excellent nothing to much trouble

Three of us called in for lunch on Saturday. The food was great, the service good and the surroundings were just as a pub should. Prices were great too. Staff member who looked after us was friendly, polite and chatty. Already looking forward to a return visit. I recommend you go there!!

What a great place, just wish it was closer to home. The food was fantastic and is unbeatable value at this time of cost of living crises. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Will certainly be going back when we fly from Manchester again.

Expensive.... for a bottle of bulmers & a glass of Coke £7.75. Food looked OK but spread out on the plates. Look better & more if plates where a size smaller.

I was there at lunchtime, after my friends funeral with her family for drinks, food, memories and chats, the staff were so attentive, and the food was delicious, thank you so much ,special memories of the Farmers Arms for me 45 years ago, so many wonderful times.

We were due to fly from Manchester tomorrow We stayed overnight at Britania airport Hotel. We came a short walk to the Farmers arms . The double burger and chips with onion rings , bacon ,cheese and chicken strips was th e best I've ever had Wednesday offer for £6. . Well recommended ...👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Ordered a 3 meals, 8oz rump steak with scampi and peppercorn sauce, chicken tikka masala and naan and a corned beef hash pie all for less than £30, portion size and service excellent, tasty and good beer to boot, lovely atmosphere, will be back again!

My wife and myself called in the Farmers arms on our way back from The Christie hospital today, on our way back home 50 miles away I can say to anyone passing this way it certainly is worth stopping for something to eat. The food is plenty on your plate and piping hot and not expensive at all, the young lady that served our food was extremely polite and helpful, it is our first visit and certainly will not be the last,

Came in to watch united but wasn’t on unfortunately. Decided to have some food and will definitely be back!

Nice garden menu never got anything left been x3 times disappointed never let customers know

Visited on a Sunday evening, Found it to be a very local pub, with locals walking up to the bar after us and getting served straight away. Twice this happened. Other than that staff were friendly and prices reasonable. Good sized Beer garden or though no shelter for non-smokers. Would use it again as close to the airport hotel. This review is based on my experience at the time, looking at other reviews I presume it isn't typical.
