Jess and family had a lovely day at pooches cafe. Helping Luna celebrate her birthday . Blaze and Callum are amazing hosts welcoming and friendly . Human food is amazing my two boys recommend chocolate cake it was best they ever tasted . And pooches party food looked just as good . Nothing was any trouble Blaze and Callum happily helped with any requests to keep both humans and pooches happy . Well worth a visit with your 4 legged friends.

The counters and fridge were well stocked and there was a good selection of products. They do boxed up hot meals e.g. breakfast boxes and chips etc... pastries, plate pies and sandwiches. The staff were friendly and the shop clean. I ordered a Saveloy Dip it was served hot and was a good portion size.

Tried a cappuccino to takeaway from the Clifton, beautiful ground coffee and fresh steamed milk. Great service and a nice big cup, best coffee I’ve had anywhere near the beach

Delicious crispy batter on beautifully cooked fish. Chips were spot on. I have eaten from here several times and the good quality is always maintained. Highly recommend it.

Great bar for lovely cocktails and if the suns shining and you hit happy hour you're in for a great time. The staff are always nice here and in the pub upstairs (maltings) and they make a fantastic raspberry mojito and salted caramel expresso martini. Been here with partner and family and everyone enjoys it. Top bar.

£6.10 for a medium glass of wine rather expensive have paid less in Newcastle

I recently had my Espresso machine services by coffee zone as well as buying some coffee to try. Unlike a couple of "highly recommended" espresso machine companies who couldn't even be bothered to return calls / emails / messages, Octavian was a joy to do business with. The coffee was really good also, great value and a good taste; in fact i'm going there today to buy some more!

We are visiting the area from down south. These are the best fish and chips we have had for a long time. We ate our food on the beach which was also amazing. Definitely recommend this place. Very reasonable cost, we had the meal deal.

We stopped here for a snack today whilst in the local area. Really friendly staff, very clean cafe and a lovely selection of food. The cakes and tray bakes were amazing! We will be back. Thank you

We visited today and as usual it was busy and lively. The front of house staff were fantastic and couldn’t have been more helpful. My only observation was that compared to previous visits the portion sizes have been cut, for example my wife ordered Scampi and received only 7 small pieces, I ordered the 3 meat Sunday Lunch with beef, lamb and chicken I got 2 nice pieces of beef but the piece of chicken was very small and I never found the lamb at all. What was served was all good quality, the vegetables were cooked nicely (for me anyway, firm rather than boiled within inches of existence) I hope this is just a blip which will be sorted next time we visit Thanks again to the FOH girls, spot on keep up the good work 👍

What a fine, very basic simple decor/furniture, very clean. Friendly staff. Food was great, tasty and plentiful, couldn't believe the portion size for the cost. Excellent value for money, would definitely recommend and will visit again.

We have visited little haven several times without any issues until this weekend arriving on the 11th of April departing on the 14th of April. We was allocated room 105 which is an easy access room which was great because the wife has mobility issues. The bathroom as recently been upgraded to a wet room which is fantastic apart with the problem with the toilet, unfortunately it was leaking between the base of the toilet and the floor and when you had the shower on the waste pump from the shower made it worse. We immediately reported this to reception but she said there was no maintenance personnel available. I thought that they would get a member of the management team to come and take a look but no. Then we had a issue with house keeping we left the label on our door asking for the room to be cleaned especially the bathroom floor but we returned to our room Saturday evening and there was a carrier bag hung on the door handle with 1 towel and a selection of milk coffee and biscuits inside and the room untouched again we reported this and they said they were having problems in that department. We do like coming to the little haven but this experience has put us off a little.,all it needed was a friendly word from a member of the management team then I wouldn’t be writing this review. I've used the Red Hut cafe several times and never been disappointed yet. It's completely Covid aware, staff are patient and knowledgeable. I usually order Fish & Chips and they are cooked to order, Always a good size well cooked fish and lovely browned chips. Not much you can say about F & C but they beat renowned Colman's by streets

Been twice lately. Second time to give benefit of doubt. Should've trusted initial judgement. Everything tastes old. Asked for batter with chips. It was dark brown it had been reheated that many times. I suspect as I've gone in at lunch they're just keeping last nights food in and reheating it. It's not called Manky Frankies for nowt
