When my bean to cup machine broke down, Coffee Zone was recommended to me to have it repaired if was repairable. Octavian picked up the machine from my house and assessed what needed to be done to repair it and associated costs. Due to the age of the machine I decided it was not worth repairing. Because there was no repair carried out, Octavian did not charge for the assessment. He did, however, advise on the best machines within my budget and I subsequently bought a DeLonghi bean to cup machine recommended by Octavian. Due to this excellent service, I decided to try Coffee Zone's Columbian beans. They had just bean roasted by them the day before. The flavour is rich and smooth and not bitter like some supermarket beans. Octavian and Hanneke deliver to my house and I've continued to use this excellent service and drink quality coffee from freshly roasted beans.

I've been buying my Coffee from Octavian and Hanneke at Coffee Zone for 3 years now. It is just lovely coffee! If you enjoy your daily coffee, you really should try theirs. Its a good price and their customer service is fabulous, they are reliable and prompt with delivery, and just really lovely folk. I highly recommend Coffee Zone!

From the initial contact through to making our first order, Octavian and Hanneke at Coffee Zone have always been polite, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable about the importance of quality coffee. They were recommended from one of our partner churches, and have not disappointed in the slightest. From bulk buying to purchasing smaller amounts, nothing is too much trouble and the roast and grind size has always been just right. They will roast and grind to your bespoke requirements as well. Our delegates have also commented on the taste and smoothness of coffee. A hidden gem in Sunderland and highly recommended.

This business is absolutely amazing. Compared to coffee beans you get from supermarkets and such, the beans sold here are extremely fresh and it definitely shows. It is like night and day compared to supermarket beans. They're super flavourful, too. The person I spoke to via texts was also extremely friendly and gave me his recommendation in regards to which beans I should purchase; and then even gave me a sample to try the Columbian blend which they specialise in. Absolutely stunning quality, as well as customer service. I definitely will be buying all of my beans in the future from here, and I recommend you to do the same.

Popped in here for a coffee and light lunch. Very clean and welcoming. Coffee is roasted and ground on the premises. Food beautifully presented and served. Highly recommend

Friendly little cafe which does a big selection of coffee beans. We both enjoyed a bagel and a cuppa each for under ten pounds and the service was great. Would return.
