Jess and family had a lovely day at pooches cafe. Helping Luna celebrate her birthday . Blaze and Callum are amazing hosts welcoming and friendly . Human food is amazing my two boys recommend chocolate cake it was best they ever tasted . And pooches party food looked just as good . Nothing was any trouble Blaze and Callum happily helped with any requests to keep both humans and pooches happy . Well worth a visit with your 4 legged friends.

This is a fabulous place, a wonderful venue to bring your dog, a smashing place where the owners can socialise as their pooches play. My puppy loves the place! Get well soon jan, we are all missing you and the pooches cafe.

Well situated on westoe road not far from dog walking distance of the sea front reached by a good pet safe walkway from Seaway to westoe road . The only problem is if going by car is you have to park in one of the side streets as the cafe is on the Main Street . Good doggy decor with an attractive pooch front . Food plus dog treats is first class

A pleasant cafe where accompanying dogs are welcome. It supplies a selection of dog treats ,has a fenced off area for parties, so you can take your friend on that special day, birthday or got you day. Can arrange cakes and treats for that special occasion, suitable dogs can be off lead as there is a gate inside the front door. If you have not got a dog, no problem you are welcome to eat in this doggie environment, supplying tea coffee and hot chocolate with sandwiches ,panini ,and jacket potato. But please ask before petting dogs, and ask for guidance from the owner before feeding any dog with the dog treats. Note that this cafe scores a five on the hygiene rating.

Fab café to take your loved pooches, my crazy puppy loves her visits here. Staff make a great fuss of her, human & doggy food is fairly priced unlike some places. For a café that lets dogs in it is kept absolutely spotless.

Small, quaint and comfortable Indian restaurant located in Westoe, South Shields. Although not located on Ocean Road (with the vast majority of I dia eateries in Shields) I have to say that the food and service was amongst the very best of Indian Restaurants where I have eaten. Friday evening g and very busy (full) is a testament to how good this place is. Two course meal for two, with a bottle of wine came in at a tad below £70. Well worth it!! Looking forward to returning again. Probably my 'new go-to' Indian restaurant. Very highly recommended.

I’m not an ice-cream person, but this ice-cream was absolutely delicious. We tried coconut, pistachio, strawberry, frozen hot cocoa and chocolate mocha – all incredible! High quality. Perfect flavor. The atmosphere and service were great. Worth every bit of the hype!

I've just been serves a peri chicken burger and it was cold, hard and very unpleasant. Thankfully the waitress was helpful, can't say much about the chef who apparently cooked my burger.

Went for Christmas afternoon tea today. Been many times before and it’s always been lovely however today there was a hair imbedded in the scone! The server ( bald headed guy) didn’t apologise or say sorry just said unfortunately these things happen! It really put me off the rest of the tea I actually felt a bit sick, surely an apology wouldn’t have been too much? Not good enough 👎

We visited The Travelling Man for Dinner. The waitress seated us quickly and offered us drink. We had a good look over the the menu and there was a few great options. I opted for the beef brisket with fries and gravy. We waited around 15 minutes for the food to arrive. The meat was very tender and melted in the mouth and accompanied with the fries and gravy, it made for a great filling meal.
