The best restaurants serving British food in London

Cannot say enough good things about this place - the food, the service, the cocktails, all exceptional!

We decided to pop in after a walk through Bushy Park. Excellent selection of drinks, reasonable priced. Although we did not eat, the menu looked fantastic. Friendly staff, great location. We will definitely visit again.

Very old traditional pub. Well worth a visit. Decent prices and some ales in tap as well which is good.

Friendly. Not busy at 3.30pm on a Thursday . . .! Only Fuller's London Pride on cask, but well kept.

La ubicación no podría ser mejor para cenar antes de ver una representación del Teatro Nacional. Es un restaurante muy agradable, pero un poco staid - nuestra familia probablemente prefiere lugares con un poco más de energía y menos diseño minimalista (y me gusta minimalista). Y la comida estaba bien. Algunas cosas bastante deliciosas, otras nada especial para ser honesto. Y caro. Me alegro de que lo experimentamos, pero voy a probar algo más cerca la próxima vez creo!

Great café overlooking the tennis courts within Lincoln’s Inn Fields. The food was delicious and the staff super friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We had booked this venue for a friends celebration and all 20 of us sat down to a good selection of starters and main courses. The staff made us welcome and service was good. Everyone commented on how they enjoyed their food.

Only get it on Uber Eats but it's very expensive and the food it's questionable 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve been here about 10 times with friends and/or colleagues and each time it’s been disappointing. Most of the times that we go, it’s fairly quiet but the service is always bad/slow. When we went for lunch today, we waited for over 10 minutes but no one came to take our order. We then had to try to flag down a waiter several times before anyone paid any attention. The first two times we were told “okay one minute”, and then the waiters carried on chatting amongst themselves. It wasn’t even busy! The food is mediocre at best. When it came to paying, the same thing - when I tried to pay, two staff members just kept chatting amongst themselves even though they could see we were waiting to pay. In the end I had to say “I need to pay and leave” and only then did one guy come over to take payment, but he (short brunette guy with a beard/moustache) was rude and told me “I’m training staff, sometimes you have to wait”. We won’t return.

As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the barman. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. All the football games were on the tele so made the lads happy. Food was good and we all enjoyed.

La tienda de té TWG estaba justo al otro lado de nuestro hotel, el Thistle. Conocemos TWG por nuestros viajes a Singapur y Malasia. TWG es originalmente una empresa de Singapur y vende excelente té en contenedores distintivos; cientos de ellos se muestran en la tienda. Nos gusta Singapore Breakfast Tea y como nos estábamos quedando cortos en casa aprovechamos para comprar lo suficiente en TWG para atarnos hasta nuestra próxima visita a Londres. Si te gusta el té, entonces una visita a la tienda TWG en la plaza de Leicester es una necesidad.
