Cafe Creme in Tower Hamlets

~£16 for a breakfast plate + latte + a few extras (Whats shown in the photo) Indoor + outdoor seating available Food tasted good. I've seen a few mixed reviews for this cafe, but overall a positive experience for me. Would recommend.

The place has a very funny stench and the food too. You could tell that their food is all frozen products from a local supermarket. Left my food untouched and left the cafe.

One of those places where once you’re in they’ll charge as much as they can. Sad thing is the food isn’t worth the price they’re charging. Sad really as was quite hungry and left unsatisfied…

The place is lovely and the gentleman who cooks the breakfast is very nice. I see the business losing customers due to the waitress attitude. I have never seen a place with a waitress with so much attitude and hate what she does. She must have some problems or she must be homophobic. I would love to come back there many times but is frustrating to know one Waitress is ruining the business and choosing what person she wants to serve. For this reason I won't be spending my money somewhere where the waitress treat the customers so badly. Waitress has some attitude with some customers only. She treat customers like a garbage because she is homophobic. I won't bother with waitress insulting me because she's a irritable child and needs to grown up.

Disgusting breakfast. I ordered vegetarian breakfast and the mushrooms were cooked with the meat. I got a measly ONE hashbrown. They wouldn't swap the egg for something else. Basically the breakfast was made up of one huge slice of soggy bread. Total waste of money

They have really cheap coffee and the taste is bitter so the price should reflect that really. I don't mind paying over £3.00 for a coffee but it's got to be quality. I specifically asked where is your coffee from? What is the brand before buying? The server replied its our own brand- so I'm guessing she didn't know but reassured me it's nice and not bitter. I tried it before leaving the store and the taste wasn't pleasing. I then just asked for a cup of tea as I wouldn't be able to drink the coffee. It was a P.g tips bag- just be warned.

Visited here for the first time and will never go again!!! COLD & frozen food served for breakfast the waffle was like plastic and made me very ill. Staff did not care about service one bit and were very unbothered all with a sad face. The overall experience left me with a bad one and was a complete waste of my money and time

This is a place I have mixed thoughts on Their food is nice so that’s pretty good, although the server seemed a bit shy I’m sure she was just stressed or something They even have a TV so you can watch it and the TV isn’t even that loud There is one small issue that I would like to address, they don’t close the door when people who are outside begin to smoke, which lets the smell get inside Thankfully, I was almost done but the stench really got to me With that being said, this place is quite decent other than the smoking issue, but just make sure you don’t smoke here because we will all smell it while we’re eating Thank you 👍

Hands down the worst breakfast I have had in a long time, tasteless and overcooked. Sausage was old and tasted off. Young girl serving was very sweet though

Unexceptable Super hard triple cooked chips left me with part of my tooth missing and sausages over cooked and a doggie over strength coffee with excessive bubbles like there was washing up liquid in the cup plus the price is very expensive unless you get a set breakfast very fast service and a nice community uses the cafe but I wish I avoided it as I've had much better elsewhere

Ordered scrambled eggs and beans on toast. Eggs were not light and fluffy but thick and lumpy. As i was dining alone i felt i was been left to sort my self out with napkins, salt and pepper etc.

Staff arguing with each other in front of of customers, cold food being sent out, I had to wait so long it took up my entire lunch break and still didn't get my order. Overall very poor impression left

Absolutely lovely, the food was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly. Although they seemed really busy, they made sure we had everything.

The waitress is terrible not friendly at all very rude doesn’t come at to take the order or clean tables give you hafe a cup off drink as she can not carry the drinks with at spillage. Used to love this place you need to bring back the lovely friendly staff who want to work there especially if they are front off house of the business. The girl with the black hair and glasses maybe need lesson on how to be a nice Waitress and learn to smile and do her job instead of the customer doing the work for her.

Great value for the amount of food you get. The Crème omelette can definitely feed two, for £10. Great latte and coffee, and free wifi.

Various other cafes appeared to be very full and Cafe Creme was busy for its outside tables and almost deserted indoors. The air conditioning on a hot day was really good. I expected it to be busier. The reason is that the staff are surly and so one would not want to go back. No smile from anyone. Coffee comes in small cups (a rip off) and a bacon sandwich had very little bacon. Not cheap.

Overpriced poor quality food, cod and chips frozen tail, may have been another white fish £10 with few frozen chips and peas like bullets, asked for bread butter not margarine and bloke shouted at me for no reason!

I passed this cafe yesterday and noticed that they were doing a £6.00 breakfast deal. I went in and asked if they do a vegetarian alternative, the woman behind the counter, gave me the most blank faced unfriendly expression, at first she didn't understand what l meant. When l said, no meat, her reply back was no, l can't have a vegetarian £6.00 breakfast. I should have walked out, there and then, but l was hungry. She indicated to me, that l should have the vegetable burger, she asked me, if l wanted chips, l said no, salad instead please. What l got was a burger, with way too much ketchup, which drowned the taste of everything else out, and a bit of salad inside the burger. A wholly disappointing experience. Failure to cater for vegetarians Unfriendly service Poor quality of food. Needless to say, l won't be putting my foot, inside this cafe, ever again, even if l am hungry.

This is the worst cafe I've ever been to. Ordered the special price breakfast and there was nothing special about it. I asked for the bacon and sausage well done but couldn't cut into either one. They overcooked it so bad I couldnt eat it. The beans were cold as was the coffee and toast. Eggs were undercooked and way too runny. The server was rude and dismissive. Tried to explain how bad the meal was but all she said was that will £12. Absolutely atrious food and abysmal service. NEVER GO THERE.....there's far better places all along Roman Road. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Went for brunch with my girlfriend and the food and the staff was amazing!! Very good environment and the pricing for London was perfect for students!! Would definitely recommend it!!

Absolutely a rip off. Well overcharged for fish fingers, chips and peas. My husband had omelette, sausage bacon, beans and chips (chips came much later). £27 for a tasteless meal. Left it couldn’t eat it. Fish fingers tasted of nothing must have been the cheapest you can get. I would say the omelette was no more than two eggs. Would never set foot in that place again.

Great proper English, not too greasy but great price and atmosphere. Also do Pancakes etc. And milkshakes

Me and my mate just went there they gave us the food after like 30 minutes waiting food came all hard and cold and the food quality was so bad we mentioned we can't eat the food they tried giving us a option of eating something else or we still will be charged at the end we decided to walk out and pay for food at the till they go it's 30pounds !!!!! Over charged us for food we didn't even touch. Worst place ever.

This place is absolutely apauling very rude to costumers no consideration for the elderly or anyone in-fact that have mobility problems food was disgusting and and used out of date milk for the milkshake and teas for my family, the toast for the breakfasts had mould on it and gave me and my family dirty cutlery would definitely not recommend it

I used to visit Cafe Crème quite regularly for the create your own breakfast, which was a good option for a full English at a reasonable price. Recently the menu has changed quite drastically (and has more vegetarian options which I’m glad about) but the prices have increased and the portion sizes have gotten smaller which is a bit of a disappointment. The staff here is friendly but the service is quite slow.

Been visiting this place since 2016. Food is medium-low quality but it was worthy for the price so I could afford having breakfast here regularly. However they recently changed the menu and increased prices in a ridiculous way without changing the quality of the food at all. Still the same. With these prices I’ll go somewhere else with better quality and service.

A gem of Roman Road I’ve only just gotten round to trying. There always seems to be regulars coming every week, and so I’ve always been curious about checking it out. Their full English didn’t disappoint, with staff being friendly and the prices reasonable. Definitely coming back!

Came here for a feel of New York diner breakfast and I got it. Got me a bacon and egg omelette and a cappuccino it was great. Some French fries too. Service was busy which is a good sign for a business since a lot of customers are coming which means they’re doing it right. Thanks for sharing the Wi-Fi password as a travelers it’s great to stop by and get some rest food and recharge. There is also outdoor seating which is cool.

Popped in for a quick lunch, Peri Peri chicken, Rice and Salad was very tasty and nice portion size. Friendly Owner/Staff All good 👍

Just picked up a prawn mayo roll was vile. Prawns were not de veined stuffed into a soggy wet roll that dripped watery mayo everywhere.

Horrible food and you have to wait 20 minutes or more for for a can of drink the staff are arrogant and can't be bothered with customers

The staffs here so rude. I came that day then they were over booking and less staffs then me and my friends have to wait over an hour for 1 of our breakfast orders without any apologies. When we can not wait anymore because the table next to us they came before still have to wait for the rest of orders i have to call the bill to pay but they even say anything for their faults cuz less staffs just only one chef inside. Omg. Ridiculous, i just felt waste the money and time to come here when you can go around have many different shop much better than here.!!!

I went here yesterday and asked for the cod and chips but instead of chips could I have mash instead. The waitress serving me told me I would have to pay another £2 even though I was swapping one item for a similar one but on this occasion she would not charge me. However when I went to pay the bill she did in fact charge me anyway. I never said anything but I will not be visiting here again/

3rd time coming here - definitely the last First couple of times had to wait 25 mins or so for a takeaway Caesar salad- given the food was decent, I had no complaints. Today I waited 40 mins because the young ladies decided to deprioritize me and serve everyone who ordered after me. People had ordered, eaten an left. when I went to ask how long my order would take, they started preparing it then. I had been sitting inside the restaurant waiting and they walked past me on several occasions choosing to ignore me even though they had taken payment upfront: word of advise - keep prodding them. not the experience you want but might have to be done

After receiving this for £30 I had to call restaurant because this is definitely not what I have ordered and this lady on phone was that rude that made me actually review this poor cafe in very bad way? Absolutely rude and without manners invited me to the restaurant to show her how to serve better because maybe she doesn’t know 😂

Visited this place on Sunday had a great jacket potato lunch, served with side salad, bragging to my husband about how nice the toppings were and excellent service visited today 2nd visit, asked for take way as I wanted to show my husband the quality of food, nicely packed, got home to find that they only put a tea spoons of topping, how disappointing as all in was £7.50 the potato was dry and ended up throwing it all way. The portion size looks great and is great if you eat in, but may be they portion it different if its a takeaway! , felt embarrassed for the chief as I would not serve up a tea spoon of filling for a meal for a customer, not enough of a filling take it of the menu! So very disappointed

I first ate a cooked breakfast and as I paid, spied this bowl of fresh apple crumble.... oh my gosh it didnt disappoint. I cannot reccomend this place enough, clean environment, friendly smiling staff and quality food at a rather reasonable price.

I visited this cafe for the first time on Sunday morning. It's in a very good location and thought I'd try as I live locally. First impressions were great the place looked lovely, cosy and warm. There was 4 of us 2 of which were children. We ordered 2 items from the kids menu •eggs, beans, sweetcorn and • Tuna roll. Sadly the kids items were abit disappointing as the sweetcorn was frozen and the beans were luke warm as if it were sitting out for too long. The tuna roll was ok. Also the glasses we drank out of smelt very fishy/damp. Service wasn't too bad polite friendly welcomed with smiles. Coffees with our breakfasts were really nice, generous amounts in very pretty cups. Overall nice but would have been great if the food was hot.

Great range on the menu, lots of halal and veg options. Went at a busy time so waited quite long and seating was a bit crowded. But comfy atmosphere and yummy comfort food!

A very welcome place on a rainy day as today. They willingly accommodated our small group and their food was both very good and reasonably priced. We'll certainly visit again.

Ordered three sandwiches for breakfast one morning. All three sandwiches were wrong somehow. I contacted Just Eat who said they would issue a refund but not until the restaurant marked the order as completed. I contacted the restaurant to do this but they still haven't as of a month later. They also told me they never get orders wrong and that both the driver and i checked the sandwiches on delivery (who does this!?). None of this is true. All in all pretty poor.

I went there for a quick breakfast and work session, I ended up staying for longer than expected! I had a poached egg on toast, two coffees, a diet coke, for £5.3! A very good deal! Food options for breakfast and lunch are numerous, food is cooked to order and is really tasty. The waitresses are really helpful too - don't miss this place if you're around the corner and looking for a food joint

This place is cheap and cheerful. Good place to get back in the ring after a night out. Staff are friendly and service quick for a cook to order. Inexpensive place, I love their omletres, but remember they only take cash.

One of the best Cafe's in Roman RD. Excellent food, MASSIVE PORTIONS & A wide variety of Coffees on offer without the pretence or ridiculous prices charged in other similar establishments. I would give it 9 out of 10 all day. Clifford😆

A good solid high street cafe. Always friendly, nice food but coffee is basic. Chefs specials are a high light, check them out!
