The best restaurants serving British food in Hillingdon London

I went here the other day and ordered egg on toast it came with twi fried eggs on toast..the eggs were not cooked properly and i couldn't eat them i just eat the toast the next day i had a terrible stomach ache and was sick this place should be shut down its dangerous

The full English breakfast was enjoyable, shame the fried eggs were not runny. The cafe is newly decorated creating a pleasant environment. This is somewhere in between being a simple builders cafe and a fancy diner so not sure where it fits anymore, the prices suggest the latter. We asked for a couple of glasses of water when we'd finished our hot drinks and had to ask a few times before they arrived.

Always pleasant and any type of breakfast take out roll not a problem. Cappuccino is always nice and hot plus they will add the sugar for you.

Such a cute little place where you get greeted with a lovely smile from the friendly staff. Have been here a few times and I can definitely recommend it big time. The food is amazing and definitely fair priced. One of the places to go in Ruislip Manor😊

If you are in Hayes and want a bite to eat you should go to Jenny's. Its cheap, good food and super friendly. It hasn't changed much in 20 years so I get very nostalgic going there!

Beautiful little pub. Friendly bar staff - especially Holly - and good prices. Food is amazing and the chef Taylor is a star! Will definitely be back.

Best proper cafe I’ve been to in London.

Went to get my car washed with my father in law and treated him to a ansells breakfast which was the best I've had in a long time luvly and hot and very well cooked great value too. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff will be back soon.

I came here this morning for breakfast and had the set number 1 with mushrooms as an extra. The cost was £12:50 inc. toast and a cappuccino. The presentation was excellent and the food was good. I've been here a few times now and highly recommend it.

Possibly the best food I've had at an airport. Very good.

Had a Birthday lunch with Friends

Great meal, excellent service, amazing value and super dog friendly- Alfie enjoyed the treats and his own blanket - such lovely staff !

Locals pub good beer and good wine. Very friendly and chatty landlord but given other factors decided not to eat there, pity.

Really poor service. Don’t be fooled by the false advertising board outside that says happy hour 25% off between 1300-1600. When I ordered and paid the discount was not applied. Then when I went to ordered a drink I was told that discount only applies when you order food, even though I was having a mixed grill. Though the advertising board outside clearly states happy hour which in my world should apply to food. And now for the food. Ordered a mix grill. Really bland and tasteless. The kebab was rubbery. All the meats tasted the same…bland. Should have lowered my expectations when one of the three chutney served was mayo. A nice place for sports and drinks but not for food or service.

Permanently closed. All shuttered up for the last few weeks.
