Popiandy's in Hillingdon

Hi came here this morning 9am it’s quite big inside lots of seating . I ordered the all day breakfast and they substituted my tomato for a hash brown. I ordered decaf tea . My friend Also had the same breakfast she ordered a coffee which was cold . So they replaced it. When the food came it was luke warm and my egg yolk had broken So it was flat my friends egg was nicer looking with the yolk still intact . I had one of everything. My tea went cold very quick so I didn’t Drink it . Food is cheap here You get a drink with certain meals . I went to the bathroom the handle on the disabled toilet door was falling off and needs fixing . The sausage was nice enough . Lots of beans which is good . The servers were nice , but I’m not sure I’d be back .

Normally it's great but today saw the kitchen staff picked his nose and then used his hands to put the cheese on the jacket potato!! Then wiped his hands on a dirty towel Really 😔 Few minutes later the lady near the till was emptied the black bin and, not washing her hands and started to make coffee ☕ We're the hygiene?? Don't think I gonna be back there in a hurry.

Very helpful staff. Two toilets fully accessibke for wheelchairs. The food was good and there are plenty of tables. It's functional and not too pricey. There is a great choice of food.

Prices have rocked up, every week changes! Toasted sandwich £9.50 it's really unacceptable specifically if you're reqular customer. Tear £1.90? Really. Won't be back for some time.😕

Went in at a very busy time - expected to get a basic snack/lunch. Staff acknowledged and seated us immediately. Ordered the pitta with halloumi to share with chips. It arrived at our table fresh and delicious. Crispy salad, piping hot chips. Beautiful garnish and dip. There was enough for 2 greedy people! An absolute bargain! Staff worked tirelessly to clear and clean tables. Loos were clean too. We will return next time we're in town.

Well this busy General foods restaurant called Popiandys within the Pavilions shopping centre in Uxbridge, Middx , England. Is a basic easy going restaurant for all really. With a varied menu which cover’s traditional English cuisine, with continental dishes too. Anything from full English breakfast ,to good fashioned English main meals. To Greek and eastern style food too. Good for families, tourists and locals. Always busy and lively environment, with a mix of worldly Nationals dining in. Plenty of good and clean dining , With nice seating areas. Wheelchair Friendly too! This Restaurant is good for breakfast, lunch and dinner! So all in all a pleasant experience and recommend.

After not going to Uxbridge for over 2 years cause being scared cause I was a vulnerable shielding person. I went out and was surprised how many cafes shut down. was looking for m and S cafe but because shut went into this cafe and I left wishing I hadn’t gone out and wished had stayed at home. The waitresses are lovely but the owner is a nasty man, don’t go in there if you have children or are disabled/sen. He makes you feel terrible and he is a bully. It’s also an unsafe environment. I left upset and I heard an Older lady leaving as I was eating upset too.

Very good food . Cheese salad sandwich . Banana milkshake great and not thick . Price was reasonable, shame that every thing gone up from last visit but can see why .

Popped in with a friend for a cuppa tea. Saw a breakfast and we both just had to have it too. Nice food as always, plenty of it too. Waitresses were friendly as they always are when I've been in.

Ordered a meal, it came with hair in it. Got a new one, second meal came with a hair in it also. Made us still pay for it. Disgusting and disappointing.

Brilliant everytime we have come here. Service is spot on food is quick and tasty. Always busy so you know its a good place to eat even if you have to wait cpuple minutes for a table.

We have visited on a number of occasions and are always positively surprised by how friendly all staff is. The food is really good, definitely excellent value for money. Service is quick and all dishes are tasty and served hot and freshly made. If not stopping for food, grab a cup of coffee and you won't be disappointed. There's a good selection of cakes to match as well!

We have visited Popiandy's many times over the years and but this was the first time we visited in the middle of the Covid pandemic. We were both very impressed with the efforts that have been made to help keep everyone feeling safe. The tables are well spaced and there are clear screens between the tables. We saw the effort that the staff were making, constantly cleaning vacant tables and disinfecting the menu cards. You are met with a friendly greeting at the entrance with a clear card in place for you to scan in the QR code and register your visit for Track and Trace. Last, but not least, the food we both has was great (as always). A big well done to the team at Popiandy's for making us feel very safe and we'll be back.

Very busy on Saturday lunchtime, had to sign in because of the virus and had to wait about three minutes, shown to a table, gave my order,efficient friendly service with a smile.Will definitely come again which I have done the last two years.

Absolutely delicious omelette bursting with filling and flavour. Heaps of Mushrooms and bacon in a big folded omelette. Lovely salad with onions, carrots, cucumber and tomatoes instead of chips.

We’re sitting in Popiandy’s having just eaten our perfectly cooked breakfasts. I’m using their free Wi-fi and looking at the young ladies busily serving their ‘regulars’ as though they've known them for years, which they probably have. A young man sitting behind us was instantly served his hot chocolate drink as he sat down, and was obviously chuffed that he is now accepted as one of Popiandy’s community. Breakfast for us was tasty, served with a flourish alongside a ‘perfect’ ( I quote) cup of tea and my delicious latte. Every town needs at least one local cafe like Popiandy’s which serves British traditional food alongside Greek specialities ( their Souvlaki is to die for ) and I’m so happy we discovered it a long time ago. If you try Popiandy’s you are bound to be delighted with their - rare nowadays - combination of good food and cheerful efficient service. Give it a go!

First visit in over 3 years. Although the serving staff cave changed the quality of food hasn't. I popped in for a double breakfast and it was nice and fresh and great value

Family quick meal. Dropped at popiandy's had full monty jacket potato and kids pizza. All the food was devoured in less than 5 mins. Good food good people.

This is Uxbridge’s ultimate greasy spoon cafe...but it’s not all greasy!Sure, if you want burger and chips or an all-day brekkie, they will provide (and the portions are LARGE)....there are a LOT of things with chips....but if you look there are some very interesting options too,home-cooked- kebab, Greek Selection (pitta with dips, halloumi, and salad )and a Mediterranian Dream breakfast that’s whipped eggs with spinac and feta on a bagel (divine!) We have never had room to try the cakes that sit in the front display, come for tea and cake if you want any hope of making it that far...

I love this little local cafe, but today when joining a friend for lunch I left disappointed. The cafe offers a great deal of choice and is always bustling. They offer great value for money and their portion sizes are very generous, but if you have a small appetite their are no options for smaller plates or portion sizes.I joined a friend for lunch their today and given the fact I could not get through the last meal we had in there. I asked could I possibly order from the kids menu. My request was declined even though my friend was ordering from the main menu. The result of this was that i had to go without food while my friend being limited for time, sat and ate her meal. It's a great shame they don't account for people with smaller appetites and dont like wasting food.I guess we just have to find another local eatery for our lunchtime meets in future

Visited this diner (not quite a restaurant) on a couple of occasions recently with my neighbour when in Uxbridge. Super busy diner...Staff are mega friendly, if not a bit full on. It's all bit rushed for me. Portions are massive. Ridiculously massive. Fried breakfasts swimming in oil. Steer clear if you are on a health kick ! Interesting viewing watching people devour massive meals ! It's not the healthiest place by a long shot, but the portions are mega, the value is great. Steer clear if you want a healthy meal ! But for a treat - it's great !

As always fast friendly service excellent staff and as always a wonderful meal. I had the full Monty partner had all day breakfast very generous portions.

I'm a long time customer of Popiandy's and after stopping in for lunch again today I thought I'd write a few lines about them. Popiandy's cafe offers a nice alternative to the plethora of chain coffee shops scattered throughout Uxbridge. It's a family-run business serving breakfast and lunch with a spacious dining area and plenty of seating. The place is brightly lit and always clean. The popularity of the cafe means it's not uncommon to see a queue outside - particularly at the weekend - however I've never had to wait long for a table to become available.

Absolutely delicious ham, egg and chips. Fast, polite and happy service, fresh ingredients and clean surroundings. Great price too. Sets it apart from all the grimy cafs out there! I’ll be back soon!

If you are wanting to avoid those congealed hot buffet breakfasts that some hotels serve up then this is the place to come in Uxbridge. Freshly cooked and well cooked fry up to start the day with very good service as well. What more could you ask for?

This is a proper cafe, your typical greasy spoon and sometime you just need a decent fry up. If you don't fancy a fry up, they do really good jacket potatoes, salads, lasagne and greek food. Good prices, quick service, and the staff get to know you and happy to share jokes etc. Great team, great food, great prices!

Visited Popiandy’s restaurant as many reviews stated it was very good. I ordered the vegetarian moussaka and other family members ordered the vegetarian burger. The burgers arrived but I received vegetarian breakfast! The waitress had got my order wrong (did find that the waitresses were not friendly at all). However my order was sorted out and I got vegetarian moussaka - needed have bothered, as I have never tasted something so bland. Seemed the ‘chef’ had forgotten to add any spices. The quality of chips is just to large and did see that many people had left these in their plates. If you are looking for quantity rather quality and cheap food then this is for you, but we would never go back again.

Visited today with a friend for lunch for the 1st time. I have to say the service was friendly and welcoming. Menu with good variety of dishes something to please everyone.

If you're a vegetarian - do not bother! We went there due to the reviews being very good for vegetarian food. We had the veggie burger or moussaka and they both tasted of very little. The waitress that served us was miserable and had no interest in her job. It was very busy and you cannot blame the owners for the level of noise, but if you want a quiet meal, avoid this place as the tables are very close together. Will never go back there.

Have been here several times.Very busy as its attached to the market.Very pushy staff when you have finished they want you out.For the next wave!! Last occasions food had been iffy.Bacon sandwiches fatty cheap bacon? Smoked salmon sandwich also cheap fish with most of the scales still on!! Want a quickmeal with chips!! This is your place!! But for a quieter and more leisurely snack try elsewhere!!

A splendid place to eat. On entering you are greeted with a friendly smile seated immediately. everywhere is spotless. The food was excellent really fresh and tasty. As a result there is a little wait but so worth it for perfectly cooked fresh food.

Located in the Pavillions shopping centre in Uxbridge this busy little cafe/diner serves decent meals at very reasonable prices and all the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The cafe is clean and pleasant. On the occasion of our visit, Chris was incredibly helpful in dealing with my wife's food intolerance, taking considerable time and patience to ensure that she could dine without problems. Do not expect a gourmet experience, but the food was tasty, mainly traditional cafe fare with a few more unusual dishes on offer. We were there at lunch time, but the all day breakfasts looked pretty enticing. Great place to take a break from shopping. Coffee (which was decent quality) and cake also available if a meal is not required.

Was a bit put off at first by how busy it was, but the 3 of us managed to squeeze onto a table and it was well worth it, the staff were fast and friendly, coming over to us almost straight away. Despite being very busy the food came out fast, the portions were huge and tasted good.

Was visited family and we were suggested to go and have breakfast at popiandys. Well I was in for a surprise . The service was very fast but the food was delicious! We were a company of 4 and all took different plates. Everything was finger licking. The place was packed and people kept on coming and going. I also noticed that there was a variety of lunch menu so we will keep that in mind for our next visit. Very clean also . I would strongly suggest it either for breakfast or Lunch. Delicious good cooked great!

They have really nice cakes, especially the homemade ones. Drinks were also good value. A look at the menu shows what look to be good value meals and other snacks. Table service was excellent, and all staff were friendly and helpful.

I recommend this place to have breakfast. It is a very nice place with helpful waitresses and waiters. Al the food is fresh and the cakes are homemade.

Can be a bit basic, but its good value and portion size is good. Located in the shopping centre it's great when the weather is bad. Service is good, quick and the staff keep everything nice and clean.

I go to Poppiandy nearly every time I go shopping in Uxbridge. The staff are always very friendly. Food is really reasonable and there is a good choice on the menu. I normally have a baguette or jacket potato but there are bigger meals available too and all day breakfasts.

My husband and I have been to popinAndys for breakfast 3/4 times now. The all day one is very nice and before 11 a.m you get a drink for £1.40 free if it’s more you pay the difference.

When i go shopping in Uxbridge love to have lunch or coffee here, always very busy but never seems to be a long wait for a table, prices are very reasonable and food arrives quickly. Never had a bad meal here and the staff are friend and service very good, disappointed last week as the shop was closed due to extractor fan not working which was a shame as looking forward to lunch here.

Popped in here for breakfast - they serve it all day. Busy place inside a mall, and we got a seat pretty quickly (you seat yourself). Service was really fast and the server offered to take the whole order if we were ready, or just drinks to start, which was great! I had a bit of trouble conveying that I wanted coffee with cream - it’s “filtered coffee” and you only get one cup with milk, but thankfully I was able to get some cream, and the coffee was really good. It was great that you could order from the many selections on the menu, but even better that you could order a la carte. I ordered 2 poached eggs, beans, fried tomatoes, and well-done toast. All was cook perfectly, although the presentation wasn’t much to speak of (I liked my beans running into my eggs, but others may not). Our other meals were good as well. They serve fried white bread - it’s a thing here, but not for me! Would go again for sure for a quick, hot breakkie.

We come here all the time. For breakfast/ lunch/ snacks/ coffee and desserts. The staff are so so lovely and welcoming and will seat you as soon as they can. They are always engaging in conversation. The menu is varied and so much to choose...

The scampi and chips with peas were absolutely fabulous, the hot chocolate is beyond words, the service is fantastic, the cleanliness is beyond words and I can highly recommend this restaurant

So this was a half hour stop before a meeting and although the place resembles a cafe/restaurant I just wanted a coffee. What really impressed me was the cleanliness of the place and the toilets, which these days are so often neglected. Nice staff serving others with breakfast which all looked well presented and tasty. The location is in the main pavilion market area and seems to be well frequented by happy returning locals. I will return and have a full English next time.

I can't deny that the food is good, but I just want to highlight the wonderful/lovely staff!!! Their smiling faces in the morning can surely give you positive vibes throughout your day. Its a popular food place, always seems to be busy, good for a quick lunch break or snack. The staff are pleasant and service most times is prompt and efficient, obviously at busy peak times, you have to wait longer. Good menu with a varied selection from sandwiches, cakes to bigger meals, refreshments etc. Inform them of any dietary needs and they will try their best to advise you and give, where possible an alternative. Tempting cakes on display, freshly made and taste wonderful! People of all ages from tots to senior citizens appear to enjoy this outlet.

Popped in for a quick snack. Very varied menu - from all day breakfasts to snacks, kebabs, curry, sandwiches, burgers etc We ordered a pizza, jacket potato & burger. Service was quick and the waitresses were lovely very helpful. Food was average but plenty of it & very good value for the amount we had & it was hot. We had cups of tea - again hot - makes a change from tepid tea you get in most coffee shops & cafes. Also a children's menu. So good service, wide choice, not fancy restaurant style but filling & good value. Children had 2 scoops of ice cream for £1.50 to finish which is always a winner. The staff are lovely and were very nice to older people or people with disabilities who seemed to be regular visitors & good with children - very much a family friendly place but also lots of groups of friends & couples too so a varied mix of clientele. Prices very reasonable for meals & snacks. Would I go for a romantic meal with my other half no - but on a family shopping trip with the children or my sister yes I would.

Overall, friendly and efficient service and dishes from a family-run, long established local. Today, my spouse and I had omelettes but sometimes we have half pounder burger meals or lasagne. Everything we've ordered is usually very good and service is always welcoming, especially Leila.

It's not fine dining, it's not innovative, it's good home cooking. I am fussy, and they cook my breakfast just the way I like it (and I don't have to ask)! The bacon is crispy, the bread is buttered corner to corner and the tea is great. Yes I said the tea is great - people don't make tea like they do! I have been to some of the most amazing restaurants all over the world - but this place is just home. The staff are amazing - they are friendly in a true way, they are so adorable to my baby boy ensuring he has everything he needs. Nothing is too much trouble. Well priced, so quick, well cooked and just wonderful.

Went in at 11 am and four of us had different meals.Mine was a Greek kebab which was way over cooked and the pitta bread hard.My wife's burger was tasty and the other 2 breakfasts were ok and the coffee was good but not sure if I would rush back as other places to go.

Came here for lunch and the 3 of us had the Greek sharing salad. It was all very fresh and tasted great the selection of dips for the bread were very good and the staff were very friendly. Just a shame that it's located inside the shopping centre. Would be nice to sit outside to enjoy the food. I would still recommend going to others and will return myself.

I am yet to be disappointed. Been here twice so far and I am slowly going to work myself through the vegetarian menu!There is so much to choose from The staff are always polite and friendly and the service is always good. I have been at lunchtimes and although they are always busy, they are always also smiling - I have never seen anyone there in a bad mood or not be helpful.The food is fresh with amazing portion sizes, each time I have struggled to finish my plate - which is a great thing as you are never leaving hungry!So far I have had the jacket potatoes and ayia napa special - which I have to say is really amazing and filling.I read a lot of fb reviews as I did mine on there where people said the place discriminates against people with disabilities, but this lunchtime I must have seen at least 4 customers there in wheelchairs who were treated with much respect and friendliness and were not discriminated against in any way at all.Thank you staff - great team - can't wait to try more food :)

Great place to eat good food at reasonable prices there is such a variety to choose from however as it was early we had breakfast and what a plateful it was served hot by friendly lady who was more than helpful when I wanted to slightly alter my English fry it was not a problem at all loads of toast and a generous pot of tea,I walk past this place many times and never see it empty it's a place locals use.

I had the double breakfast where you get two of everything - eggs, sausage, beans and bacon and one capuccino. It was very tasty, came quick and the waitress was also professional. I'd recommend their breakfast.

Whenever we go to the Odeon in Uxbridge we always eat here. To explain how good it is the last time we were here was during the half term holidays and at 12.50 we had to wait to be seated. Bear in mind this is a cafe not a high end restaurant. The portions are large and very reasonably priced, service is fast and with a smile. Genuinely looking forward to returning there shortly.

Since their Sister branch in Watford closed we regularly make the trip to Uxbridge to visit this branch. From the outside you might think that it's nothing special but you'd be wrong. The food is fresh, tasty and well-cooked. The staff are always attentive and friendly. For the prices they charge you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere to better to eat.

I have been to this Café a few times, the staff are very friendly and efficient but the food is very average. I was disappointed on my last visit in December 2016. Ordered Prawn sandwich and coffee, both tasted very bland.
