The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are welcoming and extremely friendly. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone local looking for a mix grill and a couple drinks.

I would definitively recommend this restaurant the food was 10/10 very tasty credits to the chef abi!! also the cocktails were lovely if your in the area definatkey give the place a try you won’t be disappointed

I met up with local friends here while visiting from California. I am very impressed with this desi pub. I tend to go to pubs for the beer variety and less so the food. I would say this pub is more of a good restaurant than primarily for beer. The food was excellent! Mixed grill, kebabs, chili fries … all the food we had was so tasty and well cooked. For the beer, they did have Beavertown Neck oil session IPA and an Italian beer on tap. The place was extremely clean and well run. The staff were very attentive. Also, seems to be a good place for families and kids. Again, would definitely recommend for food!

Food was first class, lovely flavour and a large portion. Had a mixed grill which was more than enough for 2 of us as a main let alone as a starter. Will certainly be returning

The food tasted great. They attempted service. However, when asked for an allergen menu that is advertised on their menu, they could not provide such a thing. Both my son and wife have allergies, my son could eat as that was easy to deal with but my wifes a bit more tricky and had to miss out on food as they left us with zero confidence they knew what they were doing and her food would be contaminated or cause issues. I will be reporting the establishment as, by law, they are required to have an allergen menu in written form available for customers.

Oh my goodness I have just had the best Butter Chicken and Pilau Rice ever as a takeaway from Ye Olde Crowne in Hayes. This pub is under new management and I can’t wait to try another dish next visit from their Punjabi menu (see their website for the full menu).

We were trying the food for the first time since the change of management and what a revelation! We only ordered a meal between us as we weren't starving. The Tara lamb managed to be both robustly and yet delicately spiced and the pilau rice came as individual grains . . Wonderful ! We don't usually order naan bread, but the garlic and chili naan is to die for . . We will definitely be back for more

Ignore all the reviews prior to November 2023 as this pub is now UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and serves Punjabi food (Indian) along with a few tasty looking burgers and any negative reviews are for pre this changeover. The management used to own the Three Tuns in Slough and the decor has been completely transformed and is bright and modern as well as being a huge pub inside - like a tardis. The staff are very friendly and there are a couple of huge flat screen TV’s showing sports a but not too intrusive. This place is well worth our journey to relax and have a tasty lunch and I would thoroughly recommend it.

For a pub is really good, maybe you need more chairs. I didn't try the food but the smell from the kitchen it was a bit too much. All smells possible and impossible there.

This has changed hands now, same pub, but with Indian food twist. Food was not to everyone taste I enjoyed the chicken tikka wrap but if your wanted the pub atmosphere nor there am afraid

We are so glad that this wonderful Punjabi kitchen has opened inside our local pub. The staff are really kind and have given us lots of new stuff to try on the house with our orders. The chef also made an effort to introduce himself and thank us for ordering. We order for collection and visit the pub itself to enjoy the food and pleasant atmosphere. The big bonus for me is that there is a range of vegan options that my wife loves! Keep up the great work!

Brilliant place, very accommodating when a large number of us performing in a choir at The Beck turned up at 450pm for dinner. Wonderful service and food. I would have given a 5* but this site implies this is British pub food, as do ask the photos, but the menu is pretty much entirely Indian food which might not suit those who think it's traditional pub grub. Thanks for a nice meal!

Our choir were performing at The Beck theatre and had spent the day rehearsing ready for the evening performance with Gareth Malone. We were all starving, so 40 + of us descended, unannounced, for food! The staff were amazing and quickly took our orders, found us a spot to all sit together and we were soon served our food, which was delicious! Outstanding service!

Fantastic curry and well worth a visit

Second visit, staff and atmosphere really family friendly. Food is great really recommend the mixed grill, but favourite dish has to be the Fish Tikka. Beers taste fresh and crisp. Nice chilled glasses. New regular spot for us. Slough's lose is Hayes gain. Keep it up Abhay and team. You have a new regular.

I visited this pub after the new management took over. I ordered mixed grill from here. It was sumptuous & had a decent quantity.It was totally worth the price. The ambiance is lovely. The chef was very friendly and helpful. Although it's a pub ,its more like a restaurant now. Its family friendly. They have a party hall which is free & has separate entrance . It has a capacity for 30-40 people.They have discounts for NHS workers too. All this was explained by the chef.

Great food and venue just need more customers as it's just opened

It's not a pub anymore; it's an Indian restaurant. No refurbishment has been done. Awkward layout. It's trying to be both pub and restaurant. Only one type of white wine behind the bar. I won't be going again. It's so sad to see yet another pub being turned into a restaurant. To be honest, I think there are more than enough Indian restaurants on the Uxbridge Road already.

The Ye Olde Crowne is under new management so thought I'd pop in to check it out. And have to say the pub had a great atmosphere very welcoming and the food was excellent a varied Indian menu and a good English selection so thought we would try a bit of each and wasn't disappointed. Under new management....hands down the best Punjabi food in the area!! We tried pretty much everything on the menu and we're fully satisfied. The service was awesome, staff were attentive but not on your back. Drinks selection is vast and priced well. We ended up ordering the lamb chops 3 times as they were so good! Cooked to perfection pink in the middle as a chop should be....hats off to the chef! Family friendly pub with a kids menu, highly recommend going here. Will be back soon!

My wife and I came for a late lunch. We loved the food and the team from the Three Tuns in Slough and first time at the new place. It was quiet, but the food and service was still excellent, and look forward to our next visit.

Good food at reasonable prices. Friendly barman. Plenty of TV's to watch the football. Lack of real ales but a nice pint of Aspall's draught cider

I popped into Ye Olde Crowne today for my birthday drinks with family. Abi was serving us and the service was excellent and we were an impromptu party of 17. A great experience x

This place is amazing I been there for 3 of my birthday and my brothers too I have had my holy communion party there and so much more and the never let me down on the food and service amazing food I recommend to anyone. edit: about the holy communion party I had their I recently think that I could be either jewish or muslim instead.

Nice and quiet pub in the middle of a busy area.

No food. Ignore the reviews and the signs outside. We visited on a Thursday evening and no food was on offer. The lager was fine, though.

Lack of management.. I was at the pub couple of days ago, took so long to get served and surprisingly it wasn’t busy at all. The owner went somewhere inside and didn’t come out for 15 or so minutes. This owner seems lazy, lack of communication and skills. I could see him pouring himself a beer and drinking it during work hours …but delays to serve the customers

Requested a drink at 22:43 and no one bothered to serve us. At 22:56 we was told sorry we rang the second bell. Two old men behind the bar and one went for a cigarette. I said it's not 23:00 and he said it was 23:00. Poor customer serve and lack of personality. Don't bother going here. It's boring and full of old men. Staff are not bothered about customers and rather go for a smoke.

I’m struggling to work out why the owner of this establishment has left this lazy personality less waste of space run this place Into the ground . This was a buzzing pub not long ago . Really sad to see. This will be a block of flats very soon . Terrible demise of the traditional English pub continues.

You can literally smell alcohol from the manager. He is also very disrespectful to workers.

Really really friendly lady who serves you here makes you feel welcome.with her friendly face unlike other pubs locally where they look and treat you as if you're some sort of criminal without even knowing you. Great service. The landlord was a great chap and we had some unusual TV requests and he help out with every one. He also told my 5 year old grandson about the giant white rabbit and he was fascinated.

All I can say about this place is.... " No Comment " it was an " experience " visiting this place.... I leave it at that!

Have been back a couple of times and tried the food very nice but last time I went back to eat the young lady behind the bar was more interested in Her phone than customers and unfortunately the one real ale they had on was not that good so I did not dine there what a shame . Been back I think it's gone down hill, so have revised My rating.

I attended a meeting recently at Ye Olde Crowne. The tables were extremely sticky and there was rubbish on the floor, presumably left over from the previous evening. We only had tea and coffee laid on for us so I can't comment on the drinks and food.

My Wife and I went here Monday at five pm for a meal this was our first visit to ye old crown my first impressions I liked the decor and the large old tables but not only that the young chap behind the bar gave us a warm welcome we had home made steak and ale pie mash and peas and two glasses of Red wine well worth the money great atmosphere all staff are very polite can not Fault in any way I asked if they would pass on our thanks and complements to the chef We will be going again with friends we have booked a table for the First of April Mike and Sheila

Visited a couple of times while we were local, and a young guy serving us there Daniel was fantastic. Good pub grub too.

We waited half an hour for our food. I was disappointingly impressed with the roast lamb dinner. It was lovely. I really was hoping it wouldn’t be so I could complain having waited so long lol Home-made Yorkshire pudding!! Green beans were al dente, cauliflower cheese perfect. We were offered more gravy if we wanted it (which I did). The chef was on his own and the lady of the bar was trying to help out hence the wait as the pub had customers also. The children’s pizza was as if they got a deep pan Iceland pizza & only served half of it, it came with sides & a drink which for £3.99 you can’t really complain. My son (5) said the sauce on the pizza was really good lol Someone had a Cajun chicken burger. They said it was mediocre. The chips were beautifully cooked. Would I return for food....? Yes.
