We went there with a lot of excitement because it was close to Heathrow, and we had a traveler. We waited for him in this pub. We had informed them hours in advance when we would arrive, so they wouldn’t be under pressure and could prepare themselves since the kitchen closed at 9 PM. Unfortunately, the food was not good. The steaks were tough and not chewable. Worst of all, before we left the hall, they started cleaning with bleach just one meter away from us. The smell of bleach was suffocating, especially since my father has serious respiratory issues. We quickly told him to go outside before he inhaled too much, but the bleach was very strong and bothered him a lot. He kept coughing continuously, and I hope it doesn’t cause serious problems. I’m very sorry because I suggested this place as it was close to Heathrow. I don’t recommend this place at all. Don’t pay attention to the reviews from others. It’s not a good place for families. It is the manager’s duty to take care of everything.

I ordered buffalo wings and a coffee latte. The wings were crispy and flavorful, while the latte was smooth and rich. Great service and timely delivery!

I was early to pick a mate from Heathrow and popped in for a quick one. A pub with an Indian vibe. Had lamb burgers before but settled for a pint this time. Good car park and outdoor seating too.

As a frequent visitor to the Heathrow area (mostly prior to Covid), I've been to this wonderful pub numerous times in the last 10 years, and I've always enjoyed it. However, under this latest management, it was absolutely wonderful. For one thing, it is an adorable gem visually. The inside is tiny but has that beautiful traditional look that I wish all pubs had. The outside is a delightful, flower-covered beer garden containing plenty of generous tables. It's clean and inviting. The menu is really good, and the quality of the food was outstanding. It was so good that my hubby and I ate there two days in a row. The service was friendly, although one of the nights we had a little trouble communicating with one of the waitresses, but another employee came out to clarify our order. So, excellent attention to customer needs! Decent-sized parking lot with validated customer parking. Our meals were quite excellent and the serving portions were generous but not rediculous. All told, we loved it and would return again and again.

On entry the smell wasn’t very appealing. Food was amazing, specially the pork and the chocolate pudding. Service was attentive, however when plates needed to be cleared, we found having our starters plates with our main courses. On the whole a very nice experience but there are a few teething problems that can be easily resolved with time. Thank you ☺️

Lovely pub lunch in a pretty garden

The staff at the Plough are so helpful and friendly, very customer focused and conscientious. I had no charge in my phone and in crisis. They kindly charged my phone for me and saved the day.

Love this place… always used to be a regular haunt for me and now it’s under new management it’s better than ever!

I came today I had the the lamb shish from the new menu, it was okay. The flavour of the lamb was very good, it was cooked to perfection, the portions was plenty! The rice was a bit of a let down a bit dry and didn’t taste as good as the lamb, I’m very English so would have preferred chips to be honest. I like the idea of a tandoori pub, but I think next time I have some proper pub food! It’s not cheap, a Guinness and lamb shish was £22.59 but overall I quite enjoyed it. The staff were really great! Massively impressed with the speed and quality of the service!

This is a lovely pub, beautiful outside area, very well kept. Excellent service and friendly staff, my only disappointment was the steak & ale pie. It was more like a stew with a piece of pastry put on top, it was too liquidly, a pie should be more firmer but not dry. Will try it again and try something else.

Pub owners have spent a fortune on doing up the pub, the outside is back to how it was years ago covered in bright flowers , clean , good furniture. I assume new owners as the place has turned around massively and looks fantastic, good drinks selection and great location in the village

I came here 2 years ago plus, it was dirty, the staff were indifferent and the glasses unclean. I am so pleased to say that the new owners have cleaned,repaired,and shined that hovel into a beautiful local pub that was a pleasure to eat and drink in. The service is personal, the food was fantastic and the staff were polite and respectful. Well done to all who turned a dive into a blossoming flower of peace and contentment.

It was extremely well-planned and thoughtful of them, and it was very much appreciated as we were having a leaving do for our friend. They were so helpful when we arrived, offering to help set up, and talked us through all of our options for food and drink for the day as well. Thank you so much for all your help and outstanding service from the management and bar staff (and kitchen staff for the delicious food!)

Great little pub as a perfect lunch stop just after picking up a hire car. Accidentally left my jacket with passports in the pub, rang them and they had been trying to find me. Awesome people, friendly and the food was great too.

Came here for a Sunday roast and loved it. The staff were very efficient and friendly, checking my order to ensure I had exactly what I had requested. The food arrived hot and was great quality. The pub itself is an old country pub and kept clean and tidy. The only reason I marked this down one point was “chocolate gateaux” is what we ordered for dessert, however, this is in fact more of a Black Forest cake and I don’t eat cherries. I feel this is more a misunderstanding of what a chocolate gateaux is as posed to the wrong dessert as Black Forest is not listed on the menu. Both my father and I also felt the desserts were a little overpriced for what they were. I did not mention this at the time as we had to catch a train but I do believe the staff would have addressed this at the time had I raised it as they have genuine interest in good service. If the dessert game is upped this place would easily get 5 stars from us as the roast dinner, staff and environment are all top. It’s also reasonable at £53 for two roast dinners, two draughts Pepsis and two desserts. Will be returning.

We had a great meal off their very decent pub grub menu while watching England v Slovakia. The staff were amazing, catering for every request with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend the chicken curry !!

Great location being so close to Heathrow airport. Picked up my German friend and we had a bite to eat here whilst waiting for rush hour to settle. Asked for my own water bottle refills, got ice and lemon. Two delicious mains and an orange juice later and we get free baklava as a little afters. Wow! Really friendly staff, too. If I'm coming back to Heathrow I'm stopping here again!

Had a chicken and avocado salad today sorry to say not impressed with it, left most. Salad wasn’t very nice neither was the chicken took it home for the dog.

Very cool atmosphere with decent prices. I am thinking of working there but not sure if the owner can pay for my work permit for 12 hours shift 5 days a week on permanent basis.

Really bad staff We went for food but waiting time was up to 30-40 minutes staff was so rude had attitude and place was very dirty made us feel very uncomfortable we had one round of drinks which we had to wait long time for serving never again visit here

Found this place on Google maps, as we were looking for a place for tea prior to an early morning flight. And we can honestly say we were not disappointed, the staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much. Food was absolutely fantastic, we ordered lamb burger (spicy), lamb chops and fish and chips which were all cooker to perfection, a perfect sized portion and brilliant prices considering we are so close to Heathrow Airport. Will definitely visit again when we next fly from here.

Came here last week to eat with a friend. The food was amazing so good that we went back a couple of days later.and all staff very friendly

What a shame, revisiting after an enforced 4 year break and what a change!! Instead of not being able to get a seat, there was only us and 2 other people in the pub. No real ale (the reason we go), so assume it is no longer a Fuller’s pub. The local regulars were obviously real ale drinkers as they are no longer the fixture at the corner table by the bar. They say you should never go back - how right they are when it comes to this former gem of a pub.

Great pub, right by Heathrow. Almost dead on a Tuesday lunchtime but I hope it gets busier at other times. No real ale on tap and the beer was not cheap for this provincial boy, but the food was really tasty, well cooked and extremely generous portions. We had Chicken New Yorker and BBQ rib dishes, both came with lots of very good chips and several types of perfectly cooked veg - and the veg are the thing that's actually hardest to get right. Under new management since early March 2024, just before this review, definitely worth checking out before you fly instead of the overpriced and bland Heathrow offerings. Make sure to validate your parking at the bar- this is well signposted.

This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is top, the staff is very polite and the food is delicious 🔝😍 There also is a free parking for those who come with their car and a bus stop nearby - easy to get here by transport.

We have been coming here pre flights for 15 years. It has been thru turbulent times with Covid etc. the new management are really trying hard. I had one of the best steaks ever. Give them a try. (Can you please get some real ale for next time!).

Just got back from having a meal here. Lovely place and exactly what we were looking for. We are staying at the Radisson conference hotel and going to the expensive and more than likely lifeless on-site restaurant did not appeal. The Plough is approximately a 20 mins walk in a straight line from the hotel. Plenty of choice on the menu at good prices with a a good selection of beers, lagers and wine. A nice oldy worldly feel to the pub too, with very friendly and attentive staff. We both really enjoyed our meals and if we stay at the Radisson conference centre again, we would definitely return and we would definitely recommend :-)

Very quiet when I was there but before lunch service started so that may be why.

Looking for a relaxing lunch before dropping my wife off for a flight and not wanting her to be ripped of in mayhem in departures restaurants, came across this lovely old pub less than 10 minutes away. Not too busy. Fabulously warm hospitality. Excellent chicken kebab dish and chicken New Yorker dish wit lashings of salad, chips and three hot veg. Promptly served and delicious. A hidden gem with cleanest pub loos we’ve come across for ages. Ample car park too. Will return next time too or for a bite after flight before a drive back to the country. Thanks and we’ll done!!

I used to visit this restaurant when I was staying at the Holiday Inn nearby, however, I returned yesterday to find that the BBQ ribs that I loved are no longer enough, that is, the dish is considerably smaller and no longer available. They offer bread and butter as a starter. They are still very delicious tho!

Never complain about food but this place couldn't even serve a vegetable burger. Fish was old and not fresh. Service was shoddy; drinks order forgotten and substandard food took an hour to arrive. DO NOT bother.

Spent an evening at The Plough recently. The pub has an amazing ambience, ample parking space, delicious food and great service.Must visit if you want to enjoy the sunshine with some draught beer and good food.

Restaurant was okay. But all menus were not available. Had to leave because of that.

The Plough was shutdown by the health department in the first week of June. Now looks like a ghost town. Umbrellas still up but no one there.
