Friendly staff, simple & clean environment and excellent good old fashion English breakfast. Conveniently located in the Uxbridge tube station.

Visiting family this weekend so we called in here for breakfast, so glad we did ! The food was lovely , one of the best omelettes I’ve eaten . My husband’s full English was perfect too. Good quality food . Very clean cafe and very friendly. Prices reasonable for Uxbridge. Don’t be put off by the look of it from outside as Honestly was very good . Was gutted wasn’t open Sundays too as wanted to go back again . Will deffo be my go to cafe when visiting my brother again .

At the Uxbridge bus station, this cafe is so convenient with good value and good food. It was a Sunday morning for us. We had porage and poached eggs (done to perfection) on toast. Ideal, convivial, English cafe menu and, for us, better than the hotel just across the way.

I have been coming to Franks coffee shop for more than fifteen years, it is like a bit of history. I’ts just off the Main Street, going into the underground station and still has the furniture and look of a cafe from the seventies. Even the guilted paintwork on the glass is something to see. The milky coffee served here is the best outside of Italy and the doughnuts are like I remember when I was a kid. The food is good and price even better. My favourite is a traditional breakfast. Service is amazing, they are so customer friendly, you think of times when the customer was king, they still are here. It’s not posh or dark with expensive tables and artwork and that’s why I want to mention Franks. Cafes like this are few and far between. Please use it and keep it going, it really is a one-off.

We found this very convenient cafe inside Uxbridge tube station. We decided to give it a go for a cappuccino initially which was very nice then came back for lunch and had jacket potato with lots of cheese. The menu is very extensive and the quality of food was very good.

We both really enjoyed our food here. I had spaghetti bolognese while my partner had chicken curry plus a side salad and chips. The espresso was huge and made with great coffee.

Really excellent. Very clean and welcoming. Waitress was especially helpful. My vegetarian breakfast was first class and good value for money. It's right in the station as you exit or enter. I think the name now is Pop In Frank's Cafe Restaurant. No problem in substituting hash browns for chips which was nice.

I often meet up with a couple of friends at this cafe for a snack or even just coffee. Always made welcome regardless. Staff always very friendly and seem to enjoy their job.

This is our second time visiting this restaurant whilst staying in Uxbridge. It is clean and tidy. The service is excellent. The breakfast is delicious and they are happy to adapt the menu to suit your needs. My husband had the big breakfast and I had a breakfast wrap. We will definitely be visiting again on our next visit to Uxbridge.

I love this cafe, I became a regular when I worked in Uxbridge, now I have sadly left but when I return I still get the same great service, great food and good prices. Nothing is too much trouble, so my toasted sandwich with a few extras is made specially and always the tastiest lunch I'd have that week. A lil hidden gem off the high street.

Stopped for lunch after shopping in Uxbridge. Great location in the tube station. Great traditional cafe menu. Had the cheese burger with bacon and egg and it certainly hit the spot. Third visit and third time happy.

I have eaten here 3 times over the last few weeks as I work close by now and each time I have been sorely disappointed. Jacket potato with unmelted cheese and lots of cold butter. Club sandwich with dry cheap chicken and fatty bacon and the price is too expensive for the quality of food! I won't be visiting again which is a shame as such a convenient location.

Have eaten at this coffee shop before however, on my last visit a couple of weeks ago I found that standards seem to have fallen. The staff not as friendly, the food not as good. My omelette was cold and drab looking and tasteless. The accompanying salad was limp and looked stale. Very disappointed

Stopped for a cuppa with friends and 1 of them had scrambled eggs on toast too. All served with friendliness and warmth from the staff. Menu looked good and reasonably-priced too. Not local but would happily return if in the area again.

had a lovely cuppa tea there yesterday, aw it was smashing. He put in just the right amount of grains of suger and let it steep for aprox. 74 seconds. It was just beautiful lovely and hot and the steam was pipping out of it. The mug was a lovely. i really enjoyed my cup of tea. The only thing i would ask for is for them to get the jaffa cakes. I love licking the choclate and dunking it in the nice steamy cup of tea. I really did have a nice cup of tea. The food smelt nice

Went shopping today and stopped by Frank's cafe not been in here for a while. But it's still the same friendly place I feel comfortable in here . They food is nice quick friendly service

The food is always good, as are the prices, and the service is always quick and efficient. Superbly situated for the station.

Halloumi salad is my favourite. This place is getting expensive though. It could lose customers because of this, although it is in a great location.

In Uxbridge station and I've been using it for decades. Now doing more meals and are top quality. Opens early and the breakfasts are excellent. Good choice of hot filled baguettes and the best cup of tea in the town. Staff are very efficient and courteous. Good lunches as well.

This Café is very handy for transport links into the city. It is clean, cheap and cheerful. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is served very quick and piping hot, such good value, a real find!

This is one of the last (is it the last?) of the Metropolitan Railway station buffets. Pictures of old Uxbridge on the walls give a link to the past, although the interior has been updated and the food is good. Family business with a friendly...

Came in this nice cafe one morning when my sister and her friend made a visit to London. The ambiance was very nice but we decided to do take-away to catch the train. I got a sausage pocket pie, sister got a sandwich with sausage, cheese, and egg. The pocket pie was okay priced but the sandwich was a bit pricey (at 4.5 quids) just for the sandwich. This may have been because she added-on things but it just came to a lot I think. Her friend got a cream cheese with smoked salmon sandwich and boy, did they load it with a nice layer of salmon. Over good but can be a bit pricey for some items. Food was made very fast and to order. Will need another try some day again and another review will be made!

A hidden gem tucked away in uxbridge station. It's a great place to grab a bite to eat if you're hoping to sit or if you are on the go. The staff are lovely and the food is plentiful. It's one of my regulars.

Convenient cafe for bus/tube service. Sensibly priced. Order food at the counter and they bring it to your table. Penne arrabiata is good. Sandwiches, hot food available.

Visited for the second time in as many weeks and enjoyed the all day breakfast with work colleagues for lunch.Able to swap items and have tea how you like it.Great efficient service. how have I not been here before having worked in Uxbridge for so many years!

We pop in here if we've gone shopping etc. It's so friendly and clean and the brekkie comes on big plates, all fresh, all very tasty and not a bit greasy.

On the concourse, what better place to have a snack before braving the tube. Fast Service and good range of snacks.

A group of four of us visited Frank's the day after our team (Manchester City) had won the League Cup at Wembley (we'd stayed at the Travelodge opposite). The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was great and the atmosphere was excellent. Highly recommended!

Ended up goin in here started off with 8 of us but ended up about 14 of us all in . Staff were very helpfull. Great with the customers great food and service. Highly recommend. Will defo go back when im next visiting uxbridge

Visited this café (which I think is now called Pop in Café or something similar) again and it is still a beautiful classic old style café. Really well kept, neat, tidy and clean. Very welcoming and a good choice of food on the menu. Fresh cooked food in a lovely environment. Hope it stays, there are so few cafés left like this one!

Franks has been there for decades... it has changed ownership and the staff are always chirpy and friendly. The menu is extensive and huge choice of sandwich/roll fillings. The food makes up for the lack of interior but then its a cafe! The coffee is delicious and i always treat myself to a latte when i board the train to London. Dont bother with over priced meals in Uxbridge. This is a gem in the grotty station.

The food here is lovely, the staff are friendly. The menu has a lot to choose from, only downside is that there isn't much vegetarian choices. It's great for small groups of people. The staff are really friendly and do their job well.

This cafe situated inside Uxbride station has been there for, it seems, ever. However don't let the rather retro miserable station surrounding it put you off, its got lots of variety, hot and cold meals, desserts, snacks, veggie options, breakfasts, the lot. Yes, its not glam like the nearby brand name places, but the food is generally great and the young chap serving us today was very chatty and friendly! All in all a great little cafe.

Franks cafe in the station forecourt at Uxbridge has been there since I was a nipper & over the years they have sadly done away with the diner booth furniture there & replaced it with bog standardness . still , this cafe has a great vibe & its reassuring to see the same faces in there at lunchtime year to year . its a great hang-out . standard menu , chips are great & while the rest of Uxbridge has moved on into the fascist state of starbuck-nero-costa-crapville , Franks cafe has remained firmly stuck in the past like a culinary time machine . if the full English does'nt give you a heart attack , then the espresso machine coffee from hell ,will . RECCOMMENDED , in case my review was'nt clear enough . .

Read good reviews so decided to give it a try over Bella Italia. Was a little disappointed. Didn't particularly agree with the great reviews I'd read. Whilst it was impeccably clean and the staff were friendly and food served quickly, I felt that the food itself was distinctly average. My bacon wasn't well done as requested and was a bit tasteless. Brown sauce was watery. Husband cleared his plate though. Considering Bella Italia offers a similar breakfast for less, I wish we'd gone there.

The breakfast at Franks cafe is amazing. My girlfriend and I are regulars here on a sunday. Firstly the breakfast are very big and filling. But whats so great about the food here, especially as your normal breakfasts from a cafe are very greasy... But at Franks Coffee shop there isn't a spot of grease on your plate.

Get food from here on a regular basis - great for a quick sandwich, baked potato or salad. They also do good-sized meals, all very tasty.Got a few minutes spare in Uxbridge and want to have something to eat, head to the tube station and Franks in on the left.

busy independant resturant recently changed hands but still can have my old favourites so happy about that hate the new menus on the table take up to much room

They seemed to have increased the choice of hot meals here since my last visit. I just had poached eggs (which were very tasty) but the menu includes sirloin and gammon steaks as well as full all day breakfasts!!Uxbridge station is well worth a visit anyway because of its Charles Holden 1930s decor so make sure you save time for a bit to eat too!!

This charming Italian cafe is situated in the gloom of Uxbridge station but is so worth a visit, especially at lunchtime. There is a vast assortment of delicious sandwiches, ciabattas etc. all at very fair prices, all day breakfast, roast dinner. The staff are friendly and my family always clamour to go there. Presently they open on Sundays too.

I've given five stars but obviously it's not the "finest" meal I have ever had. However, it was one of the most enjoyable. The sausages, for one thing, are real and not mass-produced. It's a copious and tasty plate for less than a loathsome MacDonalds!I couldn't eat a breakfast like this every day, but for a once a holiday splurge, it's perfect. For other occasions, other, lighter options are available as well as coffee and tea.A definite "must visit" and I shall do so on my next trip to Uxbridge.

We often go to Uxbridge to get away from sleazy Slough!.. I have personally been coming to Franks since I was very small with my Nan.. had my very first Horlicks with a frothy top there!!.. anyway.. we always have coffee and sandwiches but thought we would give the All day Breakfast a go.. my word what a bargain!!.. Hot, tasty food, generous portions and fresh bacon and sausages from a local butcher with free range eggs and a delicious cappuccino all for less than a Macdonalds nasty meal!.. Recommended to all and will definitely go again for this food and polite, friendly service..

I went for a coffee here with my husband. It is at the entrance to the station concourse at Uxbridge. When you enter it is a real delight - a classic 50s Italian café. Such a pleasure not to be greeted by the standard chain café interior. We will return to eat as the food looked good - I spotted all day breakfasts, baked potatoes, lasagne and lots more, - all looked really tasty. We actually only had time for coffee on this visit, but it is excellent coffee, and you get a warm welcome. I just loved the feel of it.

I visit this friendly, cheerful, warm place at least weekly. It clearly began life as an Italian joint, but is now run by (I think) Poles. However, they've kept the Italian menu. They do an honest breakfast and good toasted sandwiches. They're sometimes a bit baffled by my vegan choices (no cheese on my tomato toastie, no bacon or egg with my beans) but they're lovely about it. If you're used to hipster coffee don't even try Frank's, it's like something from... well, like something from 1950s Uxbridge. They have wifi and are happy for you to sit as long as you want to.

I visited here for breakfast on a recent trip to London as I was staying in the Travelodge Hotel. Nice breakfast, big portions and noce atmosphere.

That's what it is, but it's always been a bit exotic. I used to come here over 40 years ago and have been visiting ever since. It was run by some Italians then and everything was just a bit different, spices in the apple pie, pastrami, salami, chicken that didn't have stuffing, just a different taste - and good coffee. It's still good, not run of the mill fare, and I still like it.
