The Griddle Diner Harlington in Hillingdon

I came here this morning for breakfast and had the set number 1 with mushrooms as an extra. The cost was £12:50 inc. toast and a cappuccino. The presentation was excellent and the food was good. I've been here a few times now and highly recommend it.

The full English breakfast was enjoyable, shame the fried eggs were not runny. The cafe is newly decorated creating a pleasant environment. This is somewhere in between being a simple builders cafe and a fancy diner so not sure where it fits anymore, the prices suggest the latter. We asked for a couple of glasses of water when we'd finished our hot drinks and had to ask a few times before they arrived.

Cleanest cafe, friendliest staff & nice to see the owners still work and run their business to a high standard! Also very affordable for family’s x

Best breakfast I’ve ever had - went with the family and we all enjoyed it - very friendly staff and a good price - will definitely be going back - defo rate this a 5 star

Came in for breakfast and ordered scrambled egg on brown toast, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes with a coffee. Food arrived fairly quickly and was tasty but you can tell it’s cheap, wholesale ingredients that have a weird taste (mushrooms especially). Not cheap at nearly £9 either. Staff were friendly though and cool tunes playing in the background!

Had a great veggie breakfast. Great bubble and squeak hash browns mushrooms beans and egg. Served up hot and plenty. Would highly recommend

Seriously fantastic and top quality marinated chicken and lamb kebabs. The lamb is steak, not mutton and is super tender. My companions were very happy with omelette and greasy spoon and toasted sandwiches. This is one of my favourite restaurants And the loos are clean too And food hygiene rating is 5

perfect late breakfast!! food and service very good, reasonable price wise, extremely enjoyable. Lovely ladies, very helpful

Had the Chicken Shish Kebab.. Was succulent and a fair size! Pita bread was fresh and staff attentive. Def would visit again... Five stars 👍

The food was of low quality- I had asked for a mushroom sandwich, it was a few mushroom pieces thrown on plain white bread, not toasted or grilled and just thrown on a plate. When asked if it can be toasted, the waitress was bad tempered and really rude. Absolutely no customer service, overall a very very bad experience. NOT RECOMMENDED!

This is what we used to call a greasy spoon, a cafe that builders and locals of all ages will rub shoulders together, the food isn't expensive and theres a good variety of well cooked (to order) hot food and specials and at prices that don't break the bank. Visited on a Sunday afternoon, roast dinner cooked to order, and a great burger and fries, and the kids were happy too, think for two kids meals and a roast dinner and a great burger and chips, plus soft drinks I got change out of £25, staff were pleasant and brought food to table- not the sort of places that they fish for tips, but on this one I left a tip- clearly the ladies had been there all day and had said they were going to close before we walked in- so were a little sad to see us, but they didn't pull the 'sold out of that or none left' card, they cooked fresh and even managed a smile! A soft ice cream machine there too.

My wife and I are staying in harlington for the night as we fly out tomorrow morning. We popped in for a dinner and they was just about to close but the owner said it’s no problem if we wanted dinner as he would stay open for us. How nice is that so a big thank you to him. My wife and I both had the roast chicken dinner and enjoyed every little bit of it.

Was stuck where to go one Sunday, as wanted something quick and easy. Decided to try this place, as always seems busy during the day. I decided to try the roast dinner, husband had a burger and kids had chicken. When the food arrived I was pleasantly surprised, especially for the price. The portions are huge and the food was lovely and hot. Would definitely come back.

Went looking for a small local diner instead of the usual fast food and enjoyed all our meals the gammons was perfectly cooked and the marinated chicken was delicious Staff are very friendly and we was made to feel welcome

Good food, reasonable prices, polite staff. Nice seating by the window to watch people go by. Good place to a cup of tea and quick bite of food.

The Gridle has for a long period of time been serving good English food at very reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly no matter how busy they get and sometimes you are lucky to get a table! - The variations on the many Breakfasts...

This place is a quick and easy diner. Food is a typical diner quality. It’s what to expect from a usual quick diner experience. Not sure about how fresh the meat is but then again it’s not a top end restaurant. I would eat there...

Clean, efficient and great food. Lovely staff and fair prices. This is my go to place when I fancy a fry up. Well done to all!

For a greasy spoon I found it rather expensive and they don't accept cards. The staff was pleasant. A lot of work men in there so the atmosphere was very noisy

Used to come here for a breakfast if I'd had a few the night before, never failed to sort me out. Loads of options which good portion sized breakfasts, staff are friendly and helpful.

Perfect diner; great predictable food - but I am sure they would be flexible if you asked. Very friendly & cheerful staff; we were in for breakfast & lunch on the same day as we were in West Drayton on family business. Good size portions.
