The best restaurants serving British food in Ealing London

Hired the entire venue for a family gathering. Pam discussed how the afternoon tea would work and checked for any dietary requirements. It worked very well and the food items were well presented and delicious. Lovely moist sandwiches ( you’d be amazed how many people can’t manage that ) with plenty of filling. We had the scones second and the patisserie last. The scones were fantastic and some of the best I’ve ever had. A wide selection of jams to go with it but the classic strawberry worked just fine for me. Small individual cakes to follow, and we took the uneaten ones home to be scoffed later as we couldn’t finish them all. When the sun is out, it just streams in the window and lights the place up beautifully. A real gem to be found in Acton and highly recommended.

We went there for our aniversary for the first time and we couldnt have gone to a better place. The food is really unique, everything is so fresh and tasty. The atmpsphere was nice and so was the service. We will definitely comeback.

I visited this cafe whist working in Ealing . The staff are very friendly and welcoming which makes a nice atmosphere at the establishment. I have had both breakfast and lunch , which are both extremely good value for money . The cafe is always kept extremely clean , and due to excellent service there are no longs waits for food . He comido allí un par de veces (desayuno), y también he cenado para llevar un par de veces. Es una cafetería encantadora, dirigida por un personal encantador que siempre es muy amable y servicial. Los desayunos son increíbles, con una amplia selección de alimentos que normalmente no pensaría para el desayuno, pero son deliciosos. Sin duda volveremos a frecuentar el Silk Route Cafe.

Good food good price, but watch you don’t get short changed. Make a point of the cash your giving Cos it’s not the same by the time it gets to the till

Ordered Jacket potato and tuna mayo sandwich, never received the sandwich. Disappointing

The best decaf americano in West London and at a really reasonable price! I also appreciate that when you ask for just a drop/dash of milk: that is what they give you. They even give you a little biscuit each time you buy a coffee which is a lovely touch- rare to get extras like that in London these days. Haven’t eaten here but have heard from others that the sandwiches here are great.

Large group of us so we pre-ordered. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their meal except me. Three of the meals ordered were roast pork. I'm not sure what happened to mine but the meat was overcooked and brittle, my wife's on the other hand was succulent and tender, nothing like what I was served. The third person also had no complaints. The desserts were very good, minor criticism on the rhubarb crumble, two out of the three orders were just crumble but the third order appeared to have to have the fruit from the other two; it was loaded. Overall it was a positive experience and I would dine there again.

Una gran hamburguesa de Honest. Deliciosa hamburguesa jugosa, fabulosas coberturas de papas fritas, trufa mayo, queso Raclette, tocino, cohete y encurtidos. Pedí una gran porción de aros de cebolla. No sabía que eran del tamaño de aros de aro. Absolutamente delicioso. Una Brooklyn Pilsner fresca y crujiente proporcionó un refresco líquido. Un almuerzo de primera clase en un animado restaurante con personal amable. ¿Qué más quieres?
