Staff are always great, beer range is excellent, but the food is now as good as the rest of the pub! Had a chicken and beef roast, fish and chips for the kids, all great. Had sausage and mash on a Monday evening. Sorry to complain but they were reheated or microwaved - literally chewy. Still ate them but you need to be honest if you don’t have the fresh food in. I would have had the finish n chips that to be fair looked good.

Tonight I had the worst pub meal I have ever had at the Grosvenor. Do NOT come here if you want good food. I have been going to the Grosvenor for a number of years but the food has steadily gone downhill to the point that I could not eat what was put in front of me this evening. I ordered the burger which is difficult to get wrong but it was inedible and the chicken, chips and zucchini Friti were equally as bad. We deserved better and the Grosvenor are letting themselves and their patrons down, serving this food.

Have lived in the area forever and the Grosvenor has always been one of ours, and our neighbours’, local go to pubs. Over the past few months it has just gone downhill. The food used to be quite nice (the lunch deal was especially good). It now seems to be reheated frozen food: very sloppy with no taste. The drinks are quite high for the area. Service is okay but staff aren’t really interested apart from when the manager is about. You’d think they would have pulled out all the stops following the closure for mice infestation. Sad to pass by daily and see it empty. I suppose people have voted with their feet and gone elsewhere.

A great place for a Saturday (or any day of the week) lunch. The squid was cooked perfectly, melt in the mouth sensation! My husband had an open steak sandwich, which was cooked exactly as ordered, but what was amazing apart from the service, was he really wanted some soup. As you may know to order soup for lunch is not enough to fill you up, but too much to have as a starter, The Grosvenor has solved this conundrum…. With some of the food you can have the choice of the usual sides that you may want, but also the option for a mini cup of soup! Perfection for lunchtime!

I so want this pub to succeed .. especially after recent unfortunate forced closure .. and I expected that Mothers Day would be excellent - ! What a chance for the pub to show itself at its best ! It could be so good... BUT the food was a great disappointment - I don’t think the oven was working as we were served huge boiled potatoes - not roasted at all - and the vegetarian wellington was uncooked pastry … it all took ages to arrive too. Then we had dessert and plastic was found in the Eton mess. Apparently new cooks are on the way - but it doesn’t take a trained chef to cook a roast potato !!! We got an apology and free desserts but I was so disappointed that our Mother’s Day Sunday lunch was so dreadful. I will not recommend again - or eat here again.

Such a shame the food is so often poor and/or slow here. This should be a great local boozer, suitable for all sorts. It’s got a nice vibe but we have had multiple poor experiences with the food. Today, we came for mother’s day lunch. It was busy but not mad busy. The food was very slow to arrive (45-60mins), the roast potatoes were barely cooked (multiple tables were complaining about them!), and some of the food was cold. There were lots of staff, and they were pleasant, but it was very confused, we were asked 4 times what we wanted to order, then we were asked if we had only ordered desert (we had ordered our mains 45 mins ago - v odd). The guy in charge seemed to just want to question us when we complained. No offer of a discount. All very disappointing for one of our local pubs that used to be, and could still be, so much better.

Our friends recently shared a dreadful Christmas experience at the Grosvenor, and regretfully, I now wish I had paid more attention. Despite our intention to support a local pub, our family visit turned into a disappointment. It took two and a half hours to receive our main and dessert, and no one bothered to take our drink orders without numerous prompts. The limited gluten-free option, a 'naked burger,' was unappetising – a defrosted burger patty on wilted lettuce and tomatoes with no dressing. The overall food quality left much to be desired, and the nonexistent service required us to clear our own table. Even the kids' lunch arrived on scalding plates. For a drink, ordering at the bar- go. For food, stay at home. To cap it off, the women's restroom lacked toilet paper on Mother's Day!

Love this pub but had a TERRIBLE experience there last night. Booked a table, received email confirmation, turned up and for some reason no table was available. Staff were dreadful. Told me ‘things happen’, I’d have to leave and my fault for booking late..and left us (me, my elderly mother and 2 young children) with no attempt whatsoever to find a solution. When a table became available I was told ‘you see…look what happens when you’re patient’! After that, we decided not to stay - noone would give me the managers details and we felt like criminals. Appalling service and assume it was a one-off but needs fixing.

A very mediocre Sunday lunch. Nicely presented but barely warm and the roast potatoes were anaemic and tough round the edges. Lived in the area for 10 years. When this was owned by Food & Fuel, had a decent GM and a proper chef, it was a wonderful pub. Amazing fresh food with seasonal specials, a warm atmosphere and well priced good beer/wine. Then along came private equity backed Red Cat. They have put in a frozen food led menu (same as all their other pubs) with a cheap kitchen team and no real chef. Shipping out centrally bought cheap frozen food to all your no pubs may be good for the cost side of the P&L, but it kills once great pubs. We don’t eat here as I know the story. However we tried the nachos one day recently - how bad can you make nachos? Gloopy guacamole out of a large bottle (ever heard of a fresh avocado?) some weird long life tasteless excuse for sour cream, a few sprinkles of unmelted mild cheddar and a few jalapeños all for something like £9. Forget it. Until Pubcos realise people want real food they will continue to do poorly. The Grosvenor used to be one of the busiest pubs around, now whenever you walk past or go in (drink only) it’s empty. I do not recommend eating here unless you like prepackaged frozen food reheated.

We'd not been since the reopening so were excited for this. We'd booked for Christmas lunch no less. I have to say the welcome from (I presume) the landlord (we didn't get his name) and team were lovely, so I hope they take this feedback as well- meant. The food was OK. Not anything to complain about, but it was a bit basic and lacked attention to the details - which I think Christmas should be about. The baked Camembert starter came with a few thin slices of French bread and a sprig of thyme - but it would have been greatly improved by a bit of cranberry sauce on the side in terms of visuals and taste. We ran out of the bread pretty quickly! The prawn cocktail starter was flavourless and the prawns were tiny and a bit dry, clearly thawed from a packet. My husband and elder son's turkey main course was described as 'with all the trimmings' but aside of pigs in blankets and sprouts, there was no stuffing or (again) cranberry sauce. My roast pork skin wasn't 'crackled' so was just a soggy layer of fat and the accompanying potato Dauphinoise was woefully underseasoned so I left that too. Not worth the calories. My other son enjoyed his steak & chips though which were cooked exactly as he wished. Desserts - all OK - no complaints, nothing to write home about on presentation. A few berries or even a sprig of holly on the side and a dusting of icing sugar would have made it feel a bit more 'Christmassy'. If it was only this though I would have gone for a 'good' rating - but there isn't one here - i.e. 3.5 out of 5. The thing that made it drop down again, was that they sat us behind a screen on the other side of the toilets. This wasn't immediately apparent as a problem but over the next two hours, the smell of p*ss started seeping into our nostrils and completely destroying the ambiance. I ended up leaving half my dessert and stepping away from the table whilst we were waiting for the bill. Luckily we didn't need the toilet whilst we were there. Again, not the fault of the staff but those toilets need a much better clean and ventilation. Not pleasant at all. Would we go again? Yes, for drinks and the staff, welcome and service. No, for a Christmas meal, but maybe we'd try it for regular pub grub (I'd insist on not sitting near the toilets though - they need fumigating and a new cleaner!).

We went to the Grosvenor for Christmas lunch, it was utterly chaotic. We waited for half an hour before we were seated, the food was terrible, we waited, nearly 2 hours between our starter and our main course and had to leave with a pudding in a takeaway box, or we would have missed a taxi home. Terrible service terrible experience. Do not go to this pub for food! The manager gave us a string of excuses as to what was going on. Judging by the food I would say they were short of kitchen staff. This put enormous pressure on the table staff who looked exhausted and utterly fed up. Of all days Christmas Day is not the day to get it so badly wrong!

It was really poor, Pub was cold, staff indifferent! Glasses dirty, food not available which is fine but when your told what is available and your order is taken to be told 15 mins later what you ordered isn’t available! It’s a shocker ! We wanted to mark the day and it will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. If I owned this pub I would be asking plenty of questions! On site management uninterested ! Tables all around us had similar problems, people eating in their outdoor coats ! The list can go on and on …………….. You can make a few mistakes if the service is good ! You buy a whole rope to hang yourselves if the service is exceptional. If the service is poor and the product is not great you won’t get a second chance. Shame as my family have had a 50 year relationship with this pub. Had a great meal in there a couple years ago! Tenants and owners come and go, this is my worst experience in the Grovesnor!

We live very locally to The Grosvenor and have been frequenting since 2021 … since then we have always waxed lyrical about our local and it’s magical community feel in a traditional pub… The beer selection, for us is enjoyable and reliable (missing Five Points Pale though…) and the service from Sandro’s team is always friendly and often enthusiastic. We don’t often dine but when we do it meets our expectations (flavourful pub grub, London prices). Given that the formula seemed to be working and early evening Friday visits always showed a pub popular with a wide cross section of the local community, we were trepidatious but excited about the renovation (and sad to have no local for two weeks!)… No one could argue that there were areas of the pub that needed some TLC, if only to ensure that it is structurally sound for many years to come, however we wondered if the operators would feel the need to paint and polish away everything that makes The Grosvenor special, and if the appeal of a head to toe renovation into bougie London gastropub would prevail … leaving locals bereft of a local comfort…however ,we are super pleased (and relieved) to see the original features and comfortable touches have remained and the space has had life injected into the reliable soul. I absolutely hate the new piping shelves but as taste is subjective and I love this pub far far too much I have not deducted a star. 😉😉😉

Think The Grosvenor has changed hands. Menu & beer selection not as good as it used to be. Took 3 attempts to order a meal that was available from their menu. For the time being, will only pop in for drinks. Please bring back Blue Moon.....this was the pubs differential. Now it's just like popping into any other formulaic pub.

Had the Steak. Absolutely perfect. Will visit again.😊 Returned again on Saturday. The Cesar Salad is so good and a large portion as a starter.

Booked here for our family Christmas lunch and could not have been more disappointed. The food was terrible - something you’d expect from a primary school canteen. The quality was so cheap we left our food and came home. My wife ordered the beef roast and it came with half a red onion and a couple of kale leafs. The roast turkey Christmas lunch was like a pre-made dish microwaved from Icelands. The manager was supposed to call me to discuss but still hasn’t bothered. This is one of my local pubs and have drunk here on occasion for years but will not be eating here ever again as it ruined our Christmas Day.

Always have the most wonderful service, beer and food at this place. A real community pub. All the staff are great - in particular Jude who is an incredible asset to this place. Will keep coming back for years I expect!

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately I had dinner during the England's match against Senegal so the sound level was to high for me but everything else was fine.

This is such a brilliant idea, and makes the meal really interesting when you get to observe the trainees. The food was excellent and we enjoyed guessing what they had been learning about this week based on the menu choices! It was hard to book, and I think we booked about 3 or 4 months in advance. However for the price it’s excellent value for money and a fun evening out! We ate 3 courses and left in exactly 1 hour and I think the attentiveness of the staff made it a very efficient, pleasant and enjoyable meal! We will be coming back.

CAFÉ FLORENTINE is my favorite spot for a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino, paired with a delicious light sandwich. I absolutely love the warm, homey atmosphere that makes every visit so relaxing. The staff are incredibly friendly, cheerful, and attentive, ensuring great service every time. The design and decoration add to the cozy, homelike feel, making it such a pleasant place to unwind. Plus, its convenient location means I can visit regularly. Highly recommend this charming café!

What a great bar, the best in the Ealing Broadway/South Ealing area in my opinion. The Sunday carvery is amazing... delicious food and plenty of it! Great for watching rugby too. I would highly recommend. Thanks!
