This was our second afternoon tea at Tea Darling, and it was just as excellent as the first. We love the intimacy of the small tearoom, and the quaint assorted crockery. Pam is the perfect host, she is so friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic and plentiful, from the sandwiches to the cakes to the scones with clotted cream. Do yourself a favour- skip the over-priced and stuffy afternoons teas in the city center and come here for the real deal!

The name is very appropriate, as this is a darling little place to meet with friends or go solo. Pam the Hostess is so very warm, friendly and welcoming. The cream teas are to die for and also her home made cakes and wonderful tasty sandwiches. I could eat double portions of her home made apple pie. It is a very special place to meet with a friend, so cosy, so unique and so special to visit. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Theresa

We were looking for a place to have afternoon tea. We called Tea Darling Refreshingly Vintage and they said they will have a table for us to serve. We got there and everything was so lovely. The food was so fresh and she prepared it with love and pride. The service was amazing and she was very kind. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this place for afternoon tea. A gem of a place with great value, home-cooked afternoon teas, gorgeous retro decor and proper china and cutlery. Delicious cakes (the Guiness cake!!) and the best scones l’ve had for years.

Tea Darling is London’s friendliest tea shop. Really excellent tea, and absolutely delicious cakes. Do not on any account miss the scones. I’ll be back soon.

Pam makes the best traditional afternoon tea. It's a fabulous experience here, with the tea room decorated in a quaint and quirky style. Sandwiches were made fresh while you waited. Cakes, cheesecake and tart was all homemade, as we're the scones. All were delicious and some of the best sponges I've tasted. Tea was served in bone China, with a good selection and a top up too. Spent a lovely afternoon enjoying Afternoon Tea with friends. Such a varied selection of teas to start and then you move on to the food. Sandwiches were delicious and the bread so light and as for the cakes each with their own delicate flavour. We had to pace ourselves and leave room for the huge scones. A selection of jams on offer and no skimping on the clotted cream. Highly recommend Tea Darling, Pam and Mark the perfect hosts.

My daughter and i were welcomed by Pam and she was brilliant. My cheeky 4 year old was looked very impressed with her ham sandwich and chocolate cake. We are so glad we found Tea Darling. Make the effort to go, you wont regret it.

For my birthday I was given a voucher for afternoon tea at Tea Darling and we went today and it was fantastic. The afternoon tea was a great experience with delicious food and tea in a lovely environment. Pam is a fantastic host and the sandwiches, cakes, scones and teas were so tasty. My friend and I popped in for lunch and had a wonderful pot of earl grey between us. I had a delicious sandwich and she had a scone and we both really enjoyed what we had. We felt very welcomed and really enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. We loved looking at all the vintage crockery and linen as well.

We had the most incredible Vegan Afternoon Tea here! Delicious sandwiches, scones (including vegan clotted cream), an assortment of cakes and tea. There was so much we had to ask to take some home! Everything was homemade and fresh and the attention to detail along with the retro atmosphere made the experience unforgettable.

Very few places really leave a lasting impression on you, but this Tea Shop is one of those. 1) if you live locally, which I did, Pam is one of the most wonderful ladies. She runs her own small business, puts so much effort into it, makes the most beautiful cakes / sandwiches etc, always making you feel welcome and guarantee's you a smile! So if you are local to the area, get yourself down there, you won’t go anywhere else again! 2) if you’re visiting. Lots of people want to experience England when they travel to London. It’s hard to find the real quintessential English places in the big city, so you have to make time, go travel to Acton Central on the overground and visit Pams shop. It’s everything you’d want to feel the real essence of England and our love for a cup of tea! You could even call beforehand to book an afternoon tea. Again, this is a little independent shop, and your support means the world to Pam. You’d also have the best afternoon tea in London as well! 3) forget the amazing tea and cakes, just visiting to see the latest themed front window display is worth the effort. Easter, Valentines, Jubilee, Halloween, Christmas, whatever the occasion, the store front is simply epic!!! I’ve attached a photo from last Christmas, which was the last time I was in London and paid a visit. Trust me, this Tea Shop is better than a John Lewis store front! Honestly, it’s mind blowing the effort Pam puts into her little shop. 4) I honestly hope everyone above has read what I wanted to voice on this small independent business in london. I was simply just someone who lived nearby and walked by the shop the first week it opened. I just wanted to type this to express my thanks to Pam for the effort, spirit and love she gives and puts into her business. Everyone locally should simply pop by and support, and those visiting, just go, like everyone else, and the 5 star reviews, you won’t regret a minute!

Been a while since I have been to visit Tea darling but it did not disappoint! Treated my friend to a special birthday afternoon tea and it was amazing. Just the vintage setting puts you in a wonderful mood but Pams personal touches and attention leaves you wanting more, although there is so much, I had to take some of her delicious cakes home!! A delightful way to spend a couple of hours to treat someone or just to relax and unwind.
