Super mediocre, clearly an unmanaged money pump. Food was very bland. The service staff, however, were all really lovely, doing their best. When we first arrived, nobody was at the bar for take orders for nearly 10 minutes. When someone arrived and saw, she said "I'm so, so sorry", jumped on her phone and called someone to get more staff in. Again, all the staff were lovely. All quite young. Went into the bathroom to discover a broken urinal. Rather than closing that urinal, they just put a Pimm's jug to catch any errant urine. Lovely place, but the good vibes are because of the staff and completely despite the management and / or ownership. To the owners: do better. You have great staff.

Five of us came for drinks on a Saturday afternoon. The rugby was on so it was pretty busy. We managed to get a table in the back restaurant room in front of a TV despite the room apparently being for a private party - we didn't know this when we sat down. We shared some food which was nice as was the beer. The upstairs is much quieter and more like a lounge than a pub.

I am so torn as I really like this place, love its coffee and products and visit it very often usually for coffee or food to go during the weekend or weekdays. I always find the lack of music disturbing but I recently visited the space to work as I thought that it would be a good place to sit and focus on my work but the ladies that work in this place are SOOOOOOOOO loud.. I have never seen anything like it. Even if I was with a friend I would not have been able to chat with them as the two ladies behind the counter were constantly chatting extreeeeemely loudly. Such a shame honestly this should be a place to sit down and relax but NOPE! Only coffee to go moving forward.

I attended this coffee shop today and bought an oat cappuccino to take away. On past occasions my cappuccino has split all over my hand so I asked the lady who serves the coffee if she could put cling film over the cup to prevent spillage. She become irritated and snapped. I asked her for a cup holder and she again did not listen and put another cup on top. Subsequently when I reached home the coffee was spilled. I shall not be using the coffee shop again. Very rude lady.

Necesitaba un bocadillo antes del concierto, así que opté por algunos chips de aquí. El lugar se veía bonito y limpio y la comida cocinada a la orden. El personal se encontró amable y el chip, las fichas adecuadas, no esas cosas ásperas llamadas papas fritas. Caliente, cocinado largo y tamaño de porción ok. Vale la pena una visita antes / después del concierto para seguir jugando.

It's another great pub! The selection of beers are good. The atmosphere. Everything is as you might expect.

We went for drinks last Sunday as this pub is local to us and unfortunately we were unimpressed. The bar staff were very friendly (despite being out of Guinness the drinks were okay). However, there was a sewagey smell near the bar area and the toilets which was quite off putting and the tables around us where people had been eating were left uncleared for a while whilst the dogs were nearby trying to get to it which did not add to the atmosphere. It felt a bit deserted. We used to love coming here and especially for a meal when they had the platters. Hope to go again and have a different experience. *Updating review based on below response as cannot directly respond* Yes, this is in reference to the correct pub in Tufnell Park. We live nearby and have been coming here for many years (hence my dated reference to the platters which were served around 2021-2022 when we used to come regularly). Unfortunately the initial review was our experience when we visited on 15th December. We were told the Guinness was out on that day (around 7pm) but perhaps this was a mistake from the barman. As noted above, we hope to visit again and have a different experience. If so, I will update the review accordingly.

A very welcome lunch stop. We were thoroughly enjoying a walk in the Olympic Park, but feeling peckish. OK it was lunchtime, but I fancied the breakfast in a box. Which was warmed up for me. Back home (150 miles to the north), it would not have rated very highly. But in London I wanted something not vegetarian, and it rang my bell. There was the bacon, tasty sausage, beans, tomatoes, something potatoey, what was once egg and some green stuff (?) But it was warm enough, tasty, filling, and actually I quite enjoyed it. As, and when, we return for another walk I would probably choose it again. Incidentally the staff we friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy.

I booked Tea Party as part of my friends hen do. Sam was so helpful and responsive from the start and made the booking process so easy. She also helped me to decide about options for the tea and decorations which I found very useful. On the day, the room was beautifully decorated and laid out. We added some bits of our own too like photographs which Sam was very accommodating about. When my friend arrived, she burst into tears as the venue was so special and just for her! Sam and her staff we extremely attentive throughout the tea, constantly topping up the food and refilling our drinks. The food was delicious also, really lovely selection of sandwiches, cakes, patisserie and scones. We had a fantastic afternoon there, played games and just enjoyed having our own space for afternoon tea. I scouted out a lot of afternoon tea spots in London and wouldn’t have found better than this one. It is very reasonably priced, great selection of food, beautifully decorated and fantastic service. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you Sam!
