Unity Kitchen in Camden

A very welcome lunch stop. We were thoroughly enjoying a walk in the Olympic Park, but feeling peckish. OK it was lunchtime, but I fancied the breakfast in a box. Which was warmed up for me. Back home (150 miles to the north), it would not have rated very highly. But in London I wanted something not vegetarian, and it rang my bell. There was the bacon, tasty sausage, beans, tomatoes, something potatoey, what was once egg and some green stuff (?) But it was warm enough, tasty, filling, and actually I quite enjoyed it. As, and when, we return for another walk I would probably choose it again. Incidentally the staff we friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy.

I watched a lady clean outside the table and inside every table but I been sitting outside and she never came to the table I was sitting at the. One collection the plate and I didn’t even eat from the plate.

Con solo 2 cosas en el menú de la hora del almuerzo, pensarías que podrían haber hecho un poco de esfuerzo para hacerlas bien. Lamentablemente, elegimos la pizza que era básicamente mozzerella rallada sobre una base delgada de pizza. Aunque había una salsa vagamente rojiza debajo del queso, no tenía sabor. Entonces, pagamos 7 x 2 por queso rallado sobre pan. Al leer las otras críticas, parece que esto no es solo un hecho, sino un esfuerzo concertado para ser basura.  Es mejor evitarlo.

El lugar en sí es encantador, pero la comida era realmente mediocre. Friend solicitó una cuchara tres veces para su sopa y nunca recibió una, y terminó bebiendo la sopa del tazón. Un miembro del personal gritaba a los invitados y a sus hijos.

¡El personal de hoy fue encantador, particularmente la señora con la que hablamos sobre los peligros de tener hijos y elegir comida en los cafés! Desafortunadamente, sus opciones para niños están orientadas a niños más pequeños, mientras que a mis 11 años no les gusta el pan y el pesto de mala calidad, pero no quieren un sándwich de jamón básico dirigido a un niño de 6 años. Dicho esto, la señora fue súper paciente cuando mi hijo no pudo decidir y me dejó cambiar un sándwich (aún envuelto) cuando cambió de opinión. La comida era muy sabrosa y fresca, la cafetería limpia y los baños impecables. Y después de todo eso logré que mi hijo comiera pan de mala muerte. ?.

I was astonished by the reviews as I found Timber Lodge was not at all bad. I was with a group of older people visiting the Olympic Park and we had our lunch here. I had a cheese sandwich with tap water and the a very good brownie and espresso. We sat outside and watched the world go by

I considered having our 4 year old’s birthday party at their event space - it is spacious, well equipped, excellently maintained, and has the advantage of an in-door / out-door space plus an adventure playground on the doorstep. I met their event manger who was very information and helpful. He is very accommodating with our plan, and our budget was thoroughly discussed. I was very pleased with the communication and service they had offer. Sadly I had to scrap the plan because a space close to home had became available, so, maybe another year! I am giving it a 4* because we did not get to use the complete service in the end.

Called in here while visiting the park. Good choice of food & drink with plenty of seating inside and out. Service friendly.

We had our wedding ceremony and lunch here on 3.8.18 . Lorena and her staff were exceptional and helped make it a wonderful occasion. The food and service were amazing and all our guests loved it! As it was a very hot day at the last minute we requested to put the tables outside and once again Lorena and her staff were very professional. It was also great to see they employ people with disabilities. We would recommend this venue for any event. Kathy and Paul Boland

Wandel je rustig door het mooie park zie je opeens een leuk restaurantje met heerlijke koffie en hapjes. Voor ons bezoekers in deze warmte een fijne en schaduwrijke plek. Zeker aan te raden.

We stopped here during a very enjoyable walk around the park. The latte I ordered was superb; the service great - even though one guy on the till was being trained and was therefore slow.

We were a group of specials needs children on a trip to the local park and next to us was a lovely looking cafe called the unity kitchen cafe. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were friendly, smiling and all very helpful would recommend this place to any body. Thank you for all your help today we are definitely coming back. Whilst cycling round the Olympic Park we popped in for a quick snack. The cafe itself is very clean and friendly mainly selling cold food and snacks (limited hot meals are available also). For children the highlight is the fantastic play area outside.

Was in the olympic park stratford found this cafe The food is nice and large portions Menu varies and chef holly does these off the menu dishes You never know what dish it will be but chef holly is an astounding chef Plus its great for kids And after talking to staff i found out they also train teens into catering Wow fantastic

Had a great lunch of soup and seasonal casserole. Food was freshly made, tasty and warming. Bright, clean environment, a warm and cost escape from the Winter drizzle. Service was friendly and welcoming. Great location in the Olympic Park.

Had an enjoyable YMCA team lunch at the café, welcome and friendliness was excellent. We ate a lovely Christmas stew and had plenty of space to chat as a team. We will return

Nothing special and nothing on the menu that grabbed us. High prices for distinctly average snack fare Good w.c.s Worthy social enterprise

Make sure you arrive here with a full stomach and a good 2-3 hours to spare. Else you are likely to die from thirst and hunger from waiting.

I visit this cafe about once a month . It's amazing . Lovely staff, great food and brilliant facilities . The children's play area is fab. The toilets and surroundings are always so clean. Great choice of cakes and pastries And lots more beside ....

A bit over priced. I had a salmon bagel. The Salmon tasted fresh but the bagel was hard and not very enjoyable. Disappointing really, as it is a nice venue with a great short walk to the Olympic park. Wish the food was more reasonable...

Aweful....The opening hour is 9 am but don't expect pastries to be ready before 9.30....too lazy arrogant and seem like they don't really want to make money...bar left unattended by rude and unpolite staff...again 9 am is the time they apparently open the doors but...
