Never For Ever in Camden

Being a wheelchair user and having to wait 30 mins outside while staff tried to navigate their way around a foldaway ramp and the same issue upon leaving is no joke. Just not acceptable in this day and age. We all ate different times as food was brought out all different times. Sometimes 20 mins plus between each of our mans. Not great service having to repeatedly ask staff members can they remember our meals. Same with the desserts. Music was fab but not great all in all. Local to us.

Avoid for group bookings. We booked for private hire for seventy people. There was not enough food for the number of people booked for despite paying a per person price. Every table complained and the response from management was that it was either their weight staff’s error (ooof nice way to treat your staff) or our greed (classy way to deal with customers). Shocking service for the price we paid. Management needs improving. Venue is nice but generic and food was OK but insufficient. Won’t be returning. In the top two worst venues of the past ten years. By far the hungriest. Could have easily been turned around by a customer friendly response from staff. Can’t see this place lasting.

The food is SO good. I had fish on a bean stew and my partner had artichoke and sun-dried tomato pizza and they were so, so tasty. And the desserts were incredible. We had chocolate mousse and mix of ice-creams, WOW! The service is also really good and it's a very cool place to hang out with a great atmosphere. There is a bar area and also a pool table at the back so you can just go for a drink or go to eat.

Warm welcome, nice decor, super friendly staff and fantastic food. I opted for the mushroom burger like my vegetarian friend and was blown away. Yummy! Arrived as just passing and left very happy indeed! Thank you :-) Would definitely go back 👍

They say never say never and I’ve never heard of never for ever before so was intrigued to see what this place had to offer. It’s one of those funky / quirky shabby chic establishments lots of exposed surfaces, ceilings structures with pipes and wires that so many places seem to adopt these days. It’s a big space with a bar on one side and as huge white tiled kitchen / passé on the other complete with a traditional wood fired pizza oven. Pizza is definitely the main attraction here with enough options. My pizza at £14 was tasty enough but the main ingredient being wild boar and fennel sausage was inconspicuous by it absence ie they was very little atop my steamy pie. The base was nice and thin albeit with an ample crust and it was cooked ‘well’ as requested. The crispy chicken burger was less appealing to Mrs Lowe mainly as they had coated directly onto the chicken skin as opposed to removing this first, as I was expecting juicy and moist chicken breast contained within a nice breadcrumb coating. Total bill at around £26pp including only one drink each certainly not cheap this included a chunky ‘discretionary’ service charge of almost £12. This seems to be the norm these days for very little by way of service as such. I enjoyed my meal but don’t think I would rush back for a second helping any time soon

I held my birthday gathering here. I had a really nice time, the staff are really chill and accommodating. The venue it’s self is so cosy and well decorated. The food and drinks were great in particular the pizzas, I’m usually not a big pizza eater but I was very much swayed. The set up they did with the glasses and wines were really nice [I got the balloons myself but they were more then happy for me to bring and decorate] loved the touch of them writing my name on the mini vinyls. They got plates and knives for my cake and let us stay until the staff were literally going home. Had a great time, would recommend 100%

My sister and I hired the basement bar at Never For Ever for our party and we can't thank the venue enough. The space is perfect for a party, the staff were so lovely and accommodating, and communication with the party planners was fab! The team took care of everything on the night meaning we got to enjoy the party to the full. Thank you!

This is our favourite local restaurant, friendly staff, and a great bar and menu. Wednesday is takeaway pizza night and Netflix and Pietro makes the best 🍕 in London. Tonight was his best ever.

My GOD they do it all :) Had a banging night here on Saturday, cocktails delightful, delicious small plates to nibble at, the DJ playing amazing songs, and what a sexy bar team Will DEFFO be back... Wink wink

Super impressed with Never for Ever for hosting an incredible Christmas party for our team of 60. The venue was stunning, food was delicious, and the team looking after us were so attentive. We'll definitely be back.

We had our wedding reception here at the end of October 2021, it was an amazing day and all our guests had a great time. The space is perfect, it has a relaxed atmosphere upstairs for the meal and the basement bar is great for a party late into the night. The whole team are so friendly and helpful, they had everything under control, allowing us to enjoy the evening without worry. The events manager Zac went above and beyond taking the time to go through all the finer details with us prior to the day, making sure that every last thing was thought of. This was so helpful and made the whole process as stress free as possible! We really did have the best day and one we will never forget.

I organised a birthday celebration at Never For Ever on a Saturday night. The staff were very nice, and extremely helpful. I'd only brought along a couple of candles for the cake, but the staff managed to rustle up a whole set to complete the decoration. It was a nice touch, and very much appreciated. Thanks for helping to make it a great night.

Great place for a relaxed drink, very nice staff, good vibe and looks great inside, a complete change from the rest of the pubs around. We have seen many takeovers in this building, some good, some very bad and now its actually perfect!

I really love this place! It’s really chilled, the staff are incredibly friendly and the food is really tasty. Their pizzas are excellent too. I would highly recommend.

Welcome to Kentish Town Never For Ever - we live next door and admittedly were loyal fans of the former Pizza East in this location. When Pizza East closed we were sad and unsure of what might take it’s place. We walked past the construction site daily dubious of the new name and even more skeptical about the decorative painting added to the outside of the building. A peek inside the window of a dusty construction site was littered with ubiquitous mid-century furniture and kilim rugs. Hmmm - not sure of all this and I had unfairly decided I was not going to like the new place with the odd name trying too hard to be a local hipster hang out. Well it has been a long time coming, bravely navigating through lockdown, construction and refurbishments, and now Never For Ever is now open and well worth the wait. I love it. Welcoming lush plants and tables line the sidewalk and a more relaxed atmosphere inside is a much needed addition to the neighbourhood. You feel a sincere effort to be part of the community with a very friendly and accommodating staff. Tables are well spaced and proper safety measures are in place for social distancing. At the moment they are serving a well curated limited menu of small plates and delicious innovative pizza (on a healthy sprouted spelt base) perfectly cooked in the existing wood ovens from the former restaurant. Never for Ever is an inviting mix of restaurant, lounge, cafe, pub and meeting space. There is a pool table in the back and plenty of banquettes and comfortable corners dotted among the tables. The restaurant has quickly become a place and space you want to be. Welcoming, relaxed, easy with great food and wine. It’s family friendly and they have even welcomed our new puppy with enthusiasm. Go try it and support a much needed solid addition to Kentish Town.

The whole experience was wonderful. You walk in to the smell of wood fire, the decoration is beautiful and fresh. The cocktails were stunning and presented nicely. Also there’s a free pool table at the back which makes the evening feel even more special. We’ll be back very soon to try the pizzas. Staff were very friendly and the vibe was good. Give it a go!

As you get closer to Never For Ever you notice the explosion of greenery outside paired with the decoration of multi colored hands, all connected by the same thread. (Is this as genius as I believe or a coincidence of remarkable art?) Even from that...

My new local in Kentish Town! Really tasty pizzas and a wonderful wine list with lots of options! All staff very friendly and service fast and efficient. Will definitely be return frequently!
