Swan in Camden

We were at the Swan last night and felt like we were at home in the living room from the start. Great atmosphere, Andy did a great job (thx Andy 🤟) and we were full too. Lovely evening in a great atmosphere...

£4.40 for half a pint of coke is extortion, I can’t even comprehend that pricing which is more expensive than their cheapest pint.

Laima is perfect, very attentive! I really liked the service, everyone was attentive

Our favourite pub in the area. Has a great cask selection, food is Greene King menu but always seems to be cooked a bit better and the staff is amazing. Basil (staff) in particular is fab.

The fish and chips are huge But it wasn't too oily and it was delicious. The stew pie was also good.

Slow service, soggy fish and chips, raisins in the sticky toffee pudding. Subpar food overall. Can't tell about drinks though.

We were served by Andy and he was great! He provided excellent service. He gave us a sample to taste before choosing our cider. He gave us great tips on what to eat and drink and was very pleasant and helpful all around. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next night and were so happy he was there again. :)

The best lunch we had in London. The place is beautiful, the service excellent and the food 5 stars! We ordered a beef and ale pie and a bbq chicken. A dish more abundant and richer than the other. Next time I'm in London I'll happily return to Swan!

We ended up at The Swan after our visit at the British Museum and it was a great experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy, traditional pub vibe. Jerome was incredibly knowledgeable and offered great recommendations. Highly recommend checking it out!

The hidden gem of Holbrook. Found this on our last day in Europe/UK Stopped by The Swan for a nice lunch. Cosy, British pub vibes with a decent menu with plenty of different options. We saw the size of the fish n chips and decided to share it. It was a generous serving with massive fish, good handful of chips and peas. We were politely convinced to get dessert as well and we are very glad it was suggested. We got a sticky toffee pudding with custard and it was perfect for a very cold winters day. The highlight was the service. All smiles, polite, very accommodating to all of our needs. Jerome was a stand out for this. Approachable, friendly and held a decent conversation with us just because he could. His service matched the environment, warm and friendly. The Swan is the perfect example of a classic British pub experience.

We went there for fish and chips, there were no more…. None of our Swiss bank cards worked there. Otherwise it was very good

Your typical English Pub. Down the alley and there it is. Classic feel, as soon as you enter. Welcoming staff and great atmosphere. Ordered the fish and chips with mashy peas. Honestly the best ever. Returned two days later and had the steak and Ale pie. Truly, the richest favour of a meat pie, that I have ever had. Cold drinks and warm surrounds. Jerome, was a great host and the kitchen staff deserve a huge thank you from this Canadian.

After visiting the British Museum, it was raining so we had lunch at a nearby pub. The atmosphere is very good, just like a British pub! The staff was also very kind, and since it was lunch time, they came to take my order and made me want to come back again. Lunch was just a hamburger and a little bit, but it was very delicious.

Fantastic pub, we came late and they kept the kitchen open so we can make an order. Food was tasty the pie was excellent, service was superb! No doubt next time we are in the area we will come again.

Popped in on speck after visiting The British Museum. 10 minutes away from the crowded local places. A true Victorian setting. Totally atmospheric. Locals greet each other, the bar staff are welcoming and service is great. Prompt and with a smile from Jerome today. We chose the three plate snack option. Crisp coated turkey croquettes, heavy with meat, on a sweet and sour sauce. Pitta bread with peppers, and a delicious pot of hummus topped with Brussels spout topping, and light as air cod goujons with lemon and dip. £17 The bar is packed with fascinating beers and drinks, a fresh coffee machine, low noise, good lighting. Much bigger menu available. Only point is that the Ladies access is off the bar but the Men’s involves a winding descent to basement. Lots of seating. I would highly recommend. Outside tables on street which is a cute side road with fascinating shops. 15minutes from St Pancras station. Local area full of old London buildings. Go if you can.

It was my first time sightseeing in London and my first pub experience. I'm glad that you were able to respond to my poor English without making a negative face. It was my first time having fish and chips and it was so delicious! I would definitely like to go again if I have the chance.

We were there for Christmas lunch and it was really good. We had the turkey pie and the festive burger. Both excellent. The welcome was very friendly. I recommend this place.

We've visited Swan on our first visit to Bloomsbury and loved it, twice. 2 weeks later our return flight was canceled and we took the day to revisit bloomsbury and Swan, twice again. Many cask ales, clean toilets, quiet and friendly staff. 100% will visit again. Unique atmosphere and cool accommodations. Manager is so friendly. We love Swan. We bought pint glasses! P.S. ol' Rosie is delicious. Unfiltered means cloudy, not bad.

Nice hidden gem near the british museum. The entire team was friendly and accommodating, specially Mille who was so kind and thoughtful to even offer me get a better table when the place was full as soon as it was available. Ate some delicious fish and chips with an awesome selection of beer. I will be coming to lunch here every time I visit london.

The staff are an absolute delight. Food is great and prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. A great little hidden gem that we just happened upon wandering through the back streets. We came to London from the states for a quick trip and fell in love with the staff and atmosphere.

Spectacular venue, located in a very characteristic London alleyway. For the first time during our entire stay in London we found people who were truly welcoming and kind towards us Italians. The food is really excellent and really stocked with all types of beer!!... I highly recommend a stop in this pub during your holiday here in London... it's really worth it, trust me!!....

This is a hidden gem, located on a tiny side street off the main drag in Bloomsbury. It is exactly what one expects of a legit, local English pub. It cozy, lively but not rowdy, great selection of adult beverages, and do not fail to have a steak and ale pie!!

I loved the place. The cozy pub atmosphere, the food, everything. Recommend cheese garlic bread, nachos and fish and chips. Also a very big note: Basil was fantastic. He helped eagerly in every aspect of our experience. Basil is the man, the myth, the legend!

Go to the bar for dinner. Meals too Advance payment method where you order at the cash register. There are various London ales. Friendly. Even tourists can enter with confidence.

1st time in London, very pleasant and cozy pub setting. Very nice English pub. We were there once in the evening and once for the Sunday Roast. The food was always very good and we were always warmly welcomed and served. The atmosphere is cozy, rustic and typical of a pub. We would love to come back when we are in London.
