Cinnamon Village in Camden

I attended this coffee shop today and bought an oat cappuccino to take away. On past occasions my cappuccino has split all over my hand so I asked the lady who serves the coffee if she could put cling film over the cup to prevent spillage. She become irritated and snapped. I asked her for a cup holder and she again did not listen and put another cup on top. Subsequently when I reached home the coffee was spilled. I shall not be using the coffee shop again. Very rude lady.

Great food, great owner and staff who go the extra mile to make your experience pleasant. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be returning on a regular basis ! Thanks !

Nice place and a real variety from the full English fry up to eggs benedict to porridge with fruit. Lively neighbourhood place, good feeling, nice atmosphere.

Realmente disfruté un aguacate muy sabroso y bien presentado sobre tostadas de masa fermentada con espinacas y halloumi a la parrilla, y tuve un excelente café con leche. El personal muy amable. Recomendado.

El personal es amable, el café es encantador pero no lo suficientemente caliente a veces (solo pídelo más si no tienes prisa). El menú es un poco impredecible, ya que su desayuno frito (normal y vegetariano) y el sándwich de atún. Son deliciosos, pero su sándwich de pollo y aguacate era un poco asqueroso.

Personal amable y servicial. Disfruté de mi desayuno inglés con una taza de café decente. Buena relación calidad-precio e ingredientes de buena calidad. El menú se adapta a una variedad de gustos y otros comensales parecen estar disfrutando de su comida también. El café parece ser muy pequeño, pero hay asientos adicionales arriba. Nos sentimos muy bienvenidos por el personal.

I live locally and have been going to this cafe for some years although less recently. I thought I'd treat myself to lunch today but it was appalling. Something called a 'greek salad' turned out to be old and wilted leaves, a few cherry tomatoes, tiny cubes of feta and a few olives with nasty dressing. Do these people have any idea of what a Greek Salad is like? This plus a cup of indifferent coffee cost £9.25. Think I'll stay home in future...

Good quality food, a range of options and lovely staff. Good sized portions too. Great atmosphere and perfect for brunch and lunch.

We were there for brunch and had delicious poached eggs on salmon, cinnamon French toast with banana and smoothies.

Apareció no planificado con la abuela y el primo. Asientos abajo adecuados para los ancianos. El menú varió para ofrecer un buen toque hippy mientras que otros pueden tener algo más tradicional.Variado de la recomendación de la casa de tostadas francesas - viene con el jarabe de arce más sorprendente, a los huevos tradicionales en una tostada con salsa de tomate.El aguacate parece un tema en el área y aquí, pero siempre es opcional. Excelentes batidos y café, prueba el Mocha.WiFi gratis también.El personal es muy amable y eficiente. Limpiar. Ingredientes de gran calidad especialmente panes y tocino.Asequible.

Great cosy little cafe with very friendly staff, although unfortunately service was a little slow when we had only ordered two cups of tea. Reasonable prices and okay cake. Great atmosphere. Will return :)

Take a book and while away in this coffee hut. Go upstairs for a more low-key, private atmosphere. Nice interior.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch and stretched the coffee for a couple of reading hours! The bakery and the salad were great! Lovely!

This is a real gem! Friendliest staff and best food. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. People are dotted around on their laptops sipping flat whites for hours on end and the staff are happy nonetheless. Will definitely make it my new spot!

Lovely food, a great flat white and friendly service. Nice touches like free papers and minty water. You can expect to leave feeling full, and with a nice caffeine buzz for less than a tenner. We'll be back!

Back in Tufnell Park and regularly visiting Cinnamon for a morning coffee recently adding a crossaint. A good place to try.

This is a really great spot to enjoy brunch with friends, Lovely authentic Turkish food- full of flavour and generous portions. Large varied menu- I'm going to work my way through it! Outstanding value, genuine friendly service. Double thumbs up from me!

Riza y Salman creó una gran cafetería poco con deliciosos menemen shakshuka (Turco) con estilo de espinacas y queso feta con capuchino delicioso sirven agua del grifo y con sabor a menta. La decoración es rústica y el lugar atrae a una buena gente simpática. Ojalá que estaba más cerca de mi barrio!

Cafetería muy agradable con un buen servicio, buena comida a precios asequibles. buen café y zumos de fruta, es un lugar relajante que ofrece periódicos. Te puedes sentar en la terraza si hace sol o no, ya que hay un toldo. Canela tostadas en la mañana es una delicia

A moron coffee here has become a regular part of our stay in Tuffnel Park. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly and the coffee is excellent. Chilled water and good wifi are included.

Vegetarian breakfast superb as is the coffee, visit often as like to sit upside with dog and watch world go by! Staff friendly and cafe cosy.

We visited here for breakfast and it was extremely busy. It was too cold to sit outside so we opted for indoors by the window. The staff were friendly and accommodating to some gluten free requirements we had (and I brought my own bread:)), coffee was great.

Staff were very friendly. Order a flat white and eggs Benedict. Flat white was nice and strong. Not sure about the eggs Benedict - hollandaise seemed to be sweet and it was served with a side salad. Maybe this is an English thing but I don't normally have salad with my breakfast

Service was extremely slow and disorganised with staff asking people what they ordered while wondering around with the food. Items ordered were forgotten and staff had to be reminded.Over half the breakfast menu was unavailable with no reason given.

I passed by a couple of times always thinking it looked like a good place for coffee, weekend brunch or week lunch. Finally the opportunity came along and decided to give it a go. Decoration wise the place is lovely, it has a mix of grandma's kitchen and modern clean cut. There was quite a lot of people out and inside for a week day. I had no idea how things worked, so sat in a table and waited for 5 min for any of the 3 women standing next to the till, doing nothing, to come and to take my order; tired of waiting walked the 2 steps to the till to ask, then was told I needed to order 1st. Went for the French toast and it was the worst I have ever eaten, it was eggy and badly cooked.The service never improved, I left and not planning to go back. As I said there was quite a lot of people so maybe it is a place where the regulars are kings, no-one ever orders French toast or it was just a bad day, right after the Brexit vote

I visited for brunch one sunny weekday morning. The place looked reasonable, it had an outside seating area (used by smokers) and one toilet. I ordered a simple breakfast. Superficially it looked good, the portion size was sufficient, but when I started eating I found it had virtually no flavour. The beans were cheap without taste, the eggs had no flavour and the bread was unremarkable. The ingredients were cheap and boring. It was unfortunate that I found the staff to also be of a poor disposition, just grumpy, even though the sun was shining. Next time I’ll try eating elsewhere.

Food is really poor - the panini I ate was inedible the ingredients seemed to be of the poorest quality, picked up from a cash and carry. The staff were rude and actually charged my friend £1 for a mug of hot water which we returned. Coffee is just about drinkable but there are better alternatives around.

Looks quaint and attracctive from the outside, but does not live up to its appearance. Very overpriced for a very average product. Perhaps to be expected in London, but disappointing nevertheless.

A surprising find - nice food. Simple Turkish dishes, eggs Benedict, nice coffee and cakes. No chips- salad instead. Friendly staff.

Bon choix de plats pour le brunch dans ce sympathique petit café près de Kentish Town. les plats proposés sont variés et copieux. L'endroit est propre et l'accueil est correct.

I usually have an issue with cafes outside of central London (now living in NY) as breakfast options usually only consist of a 'full english breakfast' and all the trimmings. It's not often I find a place that does eggs benedict, fresh juice combinations AND great coffee options. When I find somewhere like Cinnamon Village I tend to go back time and time again. The cafe is on a sunny corner close to Tufnell Park station and a short walk from Kentish Town. There is two levels, the main level with seating and outdoor seating for the summer and there's an upstairs level which is cosy in the winter. It's a perfect place to stop for breakfast or a coffee whilst working on your laptop or reading a good book. The menu has a Turkish flair to it. I opted for the eggs benedict (florentine) both times and wasn't dissapointed. The presentation was good and the eggs, although quite runny were delicious with the bread and spinach. I also chose to have an apple, carrot ginger juice. On time they were out of Apple but suggested they could do orange which turned out to be even better - I like when someone knows their juice combinations! Latte was also good and they had various coffee options.Prices are reasonable for the area also. Highly recommended!

It's a very small café but serves its purpose well. Nothing fancy about it, but serves tasty food. It's definitely a step up from some of your generic cafs in the area, but isn't pretentious, just serves regular café food with a bit of an upmarket twist, and does it well.

Unlike other places springing up around here, Cinnamon village holds its own with a great selection of breakfast and brunch opitons. Friendly, hard working staff. Eggs Benedict delicious. Milkshakes and smoothies good. Excellent carrot, apple and ginger freshly made juice. Nice upstairs gallery with wifi. Sunny corner tables.

This is a little corner eatery with good simple food,not fancy,well cooked and definitely not expensive. Ideal for breakfast,brunch and afternoon snacks!! The coffee is good too! Oh...I forgot..it has wi-fi ! And some outside seating for days when the sun is shining!,

Have a coffee in the sun and maybe a croissant, but do not waste your money on the food. Chicken mayo sandwich just bulk but mayo. Avocados hard; maybe just substitute, tell me or leave them out, any if those 3 options would be better. All in for supporting independent local businesses, but I just got for a drink and a chat.

Don't go if you're looking for food - it is over-priced and the dishes don't delivery quality (nor quantity!) I had the classic breakfast - disappointed with lack of sausage (!) and the bacon was so tough you could barely cut it. The food looked like it had been pre-cooked and left under a heat lamp to keep warm as everything had a film on it, and the egg yolk was half solid, with quite an unpleasant texture. An ok place if you want to go for a quick drink.

This is one of several cafes along Fortess Road for the Tufnell Park breakfast goer and in my opinion it's the one with the most choice. As well as the usual English breakfast options and various egg varieties, you've got Mexican style breakfasts and a Turkish option.There's outdoor seating (necessary as the cafe indoors is very warm and stuffy) and smokers are fine to smoke outside. Coffee was good quality and nice and strong.We had French Toast with ham and the Eggs Benedict. Both huge portions and good quality - although the eggs weren't runny on the Eggs Benedict, a breakfast cardinal sin!I'd recommend this as a good place for breakfast - and very generous portions mean you're probably alright to share a dish!
