First time I tried this place, was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff were, some lovely choices off cakes and some great looking sausage Rolls.I had a bacon and sausage sandwich with side salad which was lovely, nice to see they use proper thick and soft bread. The only downside which isn’t that bad was that there was no salad cream only mayonnaise for the salad.

I don’t think this cafe looks particularly inviting from the outside, but inside it’s nicely decorated and welcoming. We had the eggs Benedict and full English breakfast and they were fabulous. It was busy when we went, but the wait time was not excessive. They are open Mondays, which is great in that area!

My friend and I could not find anywhere in the town centre for lunch and came across The Glass House by accident so decided to pop in. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable seating and privacy as we sat left of the door. Staff are polite and attentative. Food was freshly made, very reasonably priced and tasted fantastic!! A bottle of fizzy water cost £1.. Yes I know I was shocked too!! 2 x luxury panini, 3 huge slices of coffee & walnut cake, 1 slab of chocolate cake, pot of tea, hot chocolate and a 500ml bottle of fizzy water came to £18 Absolutely excellent place to eat and will be returning!! P.S we didn't eat all the cake, took some home for the boys

We discovered Prima Rosa by chance when cycling to Salhouse Broad. We popped in for a coffee and stayed for nearly 2 hours. My daughters were enchanted by all the sparkly things and the cakes were amazing. The cakes were so good that we went out of our way on our next ride to pick up supplies for the day.

This restaurant, within the hotel, but open to the public, is perfect. The service was excellent, friendly and professional. The food was exceptional - beautifully presented and very tasty. We can see why it is so popular with the locals and we look forward to eating here again - simply a great experience!

Hands down... the best place to eat in Wickford. Nikkie ( the owner) and Mark are so welcoming and friendly and had us crying with laughter, what brilliant people they are, nothing is to much trouble for either of them. The bagels are amazing with huge choice of fillings and really tasty. Best start to the day.... can't wait to go back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
