We actually only live round the corner from The Old Store and visit sporadically on the rare occasion we have a day off together! There is normally a queue to get in at the weekends but it is worth the wait and price of the food/drinks due to the prime location and quality of produce. The staff are very friendly and professional, tasty food, good coffee and a great range of dietary options. Not really suitable for children unless older!

Been to The Old Store many times now and should be ‘The old Post Office’ as consistently delivers. If it is busy, you wait outside and the manager comes out frequently with an update on your table availability. The restaurant is set on the side of the road with limited parking so drive around and you will find somewhere nearby. Inside is an open kitchen, about 12 tables of different sizes and areas to sit by the windows plus a counter serving drinks and fresh pastries, savouries etc. The staff are always friendly, happy and pleased to see you. The food amazing. Fresh, great portions, and the sourdough perfect. Always seems to be busy now which is great, be prepared to wait for a table, or get a booking for more than 6. It’s worth it every time. Enjoy

What a fab find - will definitely return when we are next in the area. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable on the area and the food. The breakfasts are great with a very varied menu - something for everyone. High quality produce, cooked to order and great coffee too.

Lovely lunch enjoyed my fit bowl which was a highly unusual combination of poached eggs, smoked salmon, halloumi, spinach, houmous and avocado plus the loveliest rye bread. Also had a lovely smoothie too. The staff are lovely and they also bake their own bread, cakes etc. would highly recommend a visit.

This café is very relaxed venue and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is good, using quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable. A really good addition to the village. We'll visit again when we return to Norfolk.

Delicious as ever! Brilliant staff and the food is always so good! Brought cakes to go and coffee beans as a present too - we’ll be back! We come every year and the waitress always remembers us - lovely attention to details.

We came at 8:30am on a Saturday morning and got the last table available without a wait - this place is clearly very popular, and its no surprise! The food was great, and came quickly given how busy it was - they make all their sourdough in house and that with perfectly cooked poached eggs was delicious! The coffee was good (if a tiiiiiny bit sour for my taste), and is from a local roastery. Staff were friendly and attentive - would definitely recommend (although go early or be prepared to wait for a table!)

Spent a few days in north Norfolk and had some wonderful GF food. However, the highlight for me has to be breakfast at the Old Store in Snettisham, just outside Hunstanton. Expecting the usual GF compromise breakfast of no sausage and no black pudding, imagine my surprise and delight when I was served a wonderful plate of food, including local butchers GF sausage, and Fruit Pig GF black pudding. They even cooked the hash brown, which is homemade, in the oven to avoid possible cross contamination in the fryer. Yes, it was £15. Yes, they do actually do a bigger version with more bacon and eggs. But, it was by far the best cooked breakfast I have had, out, GF or not! Owners, please make more of a noise about GF options on your website and also menu.

We are BIG foodies, and we are RARELY satisfied when we eat out, however this place exceeded all expectations. The best breakfast options of anywhere in the east of England. The food is incredible, I struggled to choose as everything sounded delicious, I can't wait to go back and try different dishes. Everything from the coffee, to juices, pastries, main food menu is exceptional. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Cannot fault the place at all.

Probably the best breakfast I have ever had!! We were staying locally and went to The Old Store for a breakfast/ brunch. The service and food were both amazing and I would recommend everyone to try the full English breakfast!! They use local ingredients wherever possible and even the coffee is locally produced. They have a good selection of drinks in addition to your hot teas / coffees. Also they have award winning sourdough bread which we loved so much we popped back to pick some up to take home with us along side a few slices of fantastic flapjack. We will be returning without doubt next time we are in the area.

Presumably quality ingredients ruined by bad cooking and odd presentation - sausage patty so solid it was difficult to cut through and egg also overcooked with set yolk. Dish was supposed to feature raclette cheese which I expected to be oozing over the muffin - instead there was a dried up smear. Coffee was good but won’t eat there again.

Been to the Old Stores a few times and has always delivered on quality and the staff excellent and friendly. This was our third visit in February and although the food was banging, we felt the highly rated sour dough bread that our bacon sandwiches were in, was possibly not the highly rated sour dough bread, more of a good bread. It was still lovely but having enjoyed the crunchy crust and slightly lighter feel to a sour dough bread in the past, on this occasion it didn’t hit the mark. Nevertheless five star review as it was still great and really enjoyed it. Enjoy

We found The Old Store after looking for places for brunch in the area on Trip Advisor. The first thing we noticed was that it was busy. We were met at the front door by a friendly member of staff who sorted a table within a few minutes, while we queued outside. Our order was taken as soon as we were ready and the drinks arrived very quickly. The coffee was mellow and smooth. I had eggs royale with bacon and my wife had bacon and egg sandwiches. The food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. I was particularly impressed by this as the place was extremely busy. The quality of the food was outstanding, it was the best eggs royale I’ve ever had. There was so much attention to detail from the muffin, the spinach, the egg, the hollandaise sauce and the bacon, all excellent quality and perfectly cooked. The staff were extremely polite, helpful, friendly and thoughtful. In short: excellent food, lovely staff, great location, excellent bread. Outstanding.

The curried carrot soup with cheese toastie excellent as was the eggs royale. I have never tasted a freshly squeezed apple juice before but this offering was amazing. Highly recommended don’t miss out if in the area.

Having set off very early (for us!) to witness the bird spectacle on a high spring tide, on a rather chilly morning, we were desperate to save our very existence with good coffee and brunch. We stumbled across the Old Store almost by accident and what a find! Met and gret(?) at the door, the place was full save for a table for three of us. We soon learned why. Fantastic food, top quality service all served up with smile. They even laughed at my terrible jokes, which is never heard of... Brilliant menu and, we had the best Eggs Royale EVER, with the most amazing eggs and locally smoked salmon making it very special. Cannot recommend highly enough. Top drawer hospitality business clearly run by a visionary with very high standards.

We were very well looked after by the ‘Old Stores’ staff - the chefs put up the wheelchair ramp for us whilst the staff indoors prepared a convenient table. The waitress was passionate about the menu and the food did not disappoint. We couldn’t have asked for better service - thank you, we’ll be back!
